한국 여성의 생리학적 작업능력(PWC)에 관한 연구

  • 인간공학을 적용하는데 있어 가장 기본적으로 다루어져야 할 것은 인간의 신체적, 심리적능력에 관한 연구이다. 특히 산업 현장에서 흔히 이루어지는 인간의 힘을 그 동력원으로 하는 수작업의 경우에 있어 서는 작업자가 직업적인 요인에 의해 피로가 누적되거나 신체적인 무리를 가져오지 않고 수행할 수 있는 안전한 작업기준의 설정이 필요하며 이를 위해서는 인간의 신체적 능격에관한 연구가 필수적이다. 특히 최근 들어 여성의 사회진출 기회가 다양해지고 있으며 많은 여성들이 육체적 노동을 필요로 하는 직업에 종사하고 있는 현실에서 한국여성들의 신체적 능력에 관한 자료가 절대적으로 부족한 상황이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 현재 한국의 여성들이 활동하고 육체적 작업조건들이 적절하게 설정되어 있는지를 분석하기 위한 기초 자료로서 한국 여성들의 생리학적 작업능력(PWC:physiological work capacity)을 최대산소소모 능력(Maximal Oxygen Consumption: V0$_{2}$Max)의 관점에서 파악하고자 하였다. 또한 외국 여성의 생리 학적 작업능력과 한구 여성의 생리학적 작업능력을 비교 평가하여한국 여성에게 외국여성의 기준치를 적용 시키는 것이 적절한지를 분석해 보았다. 본 연구는 피실험자에게 위험부담을 주지 않는 Submaximal test의 연속적인 방법(continuous mathod)중 하나인 램프 테스트(Ramp test)를 사용하여 심박수(H.R)와 산소 소모 량(V0$_{2}$) 측정하여 최대심박수에서의 PWC를 추정하였다. 작업 부하는 자전거 에르고노미터와 트레드 밀을 사용하여부과하였다. 실험 결과로서 자전거 에르고미터의 경우 치대산소 소모량의 추정치 평균이 1818.79ml/min으로 나타 났고 트레드밀의 경우 2076.33ml/min으로 나타났다. 이 결과는 자전거 에르고 노미터의 결과는 자전거 에르고노미터의 결과가 트레드밀의 결과에 87.60%정도 나타났다.

  • 최근 고령화 사회로 인해 전 세계적으로 노년층 인구수가 증가하고 있다. 하지만, 노인들의 신체 능력은 더욱 약화되고 있으며 병원을 찾아가 진료 및 재활을 받는 것은 신체적으로 부담이 갈 것은 자명한 사실이다. 또한, 재활 치료는 본인이 느끼는 것에 따라 진단 결과가 나오며 의사 또한 정확한 수치를 확인할 수 없어 제대로 된 진단 결과를 받을 수 없다는 문제가 있다. 본 논문은 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 병원을 직접 찾아가지 않고, 자택에서 측정 및 재활이 가능한 시스템을 제안한다. 재활 치료를 받는 환자의 신체정보를 근전도 센서, 심박 수 센서 등을 활용하여 상시 체크를 하고 의사가 실시간으로 모니터링을 하며 환자의 상태를 확인 및 상담과 조치를 취할 수 있는 시스템을 만들어 최근 증가하고 있는 노년층들이 신체적, 금전적 제약을 받지 않고 진료 받을 수 있게 할 것이다.

Effect of Physical Fitness Improvement Program on Work Intensity of Adults With Down Syndrome (신체능력향상프로그램이 다운증후군 성인의 작업강도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of physical fitness improvement program on work intensity of persons with Down syndrome. For this, 8 adults with Down syndrome participated in program and were evaluated. The physical fitness improvement program consisted of grasp, lifting, carrying exercise for 12 weeks, 1 day a week for 2 hours per session. Compared with pre-program conditions, participants in program improved significantly in right grasp power, lifting ability but there was not significant improvement in carrying ability. In view of work intensity, work intensity level of two subjects was changed from average to hard in lifting. One subject was changed from very light to average and two subjects was changed from light to average in carrying. This results suggested that physical fitness improvement program was helpful for promotion the intensity of adults with Down syndrome.

Effects of Self Taping Therapy on Knee Pain and Physical Functions in Older Adult (자가 테이핑요법이 노인의 무릎통증과 신체기능에 미치는 효과)

  • This study was to examine the effect of self taping therapy on pain relief and improvement of daily living for older adult having knee pain. This study was conducted with a nonequivalent control group pre-test and post-test design. A total of 69 older adult in senior welfare center were recruited and were assigned to the experimental group (33) or control group (36). Self taping therapy was provided to the experimental group replace daily and apply for 7days. Data were collected before and after the intervention program. Data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, Chi-square test, and t-test with SPSS Statistics IBM 21.0 program. Knee pain(t=9.59, p<.001) and physical functions(t=7.02, p<.001) were significantly decreased in the experimental group. This study found that self taping therapy could be a useful self-management method that older adult with knee pain use easily at home.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of self-care activities on physical and mental health of primary caregivers of functionally impaired elderly. Data were collected from 185 primary caregivers who were caring for their spouses or parents with functional impairment at home in Daejon. SPSS 21.0 software was used for descriptive analysis and hierarchical regression analysis. The results showed that (1) primary caregivers reported their physical health status as poor (2) the domains of health responsibility, physical activity in their self-care activities were significant predictors of their physical health level (3) primary caregivers reported very high level of depression (4) their mental health was significantly influenced by spiritual growth among self-care activities. Based on these findings, social work intervention and policy suggestions were discussed.

  • Rehabilitation dog-walking can be used to improve physical activity and restore QOL in stroke patients. This study investigated the effect of rehabilitation dog-walking on the QOL and physical activity of stroke patients. Twenty-four stroke patients were recruited for this study. Twenty-four stroke patients were randomized 1:1 into two groups. The evaluator measured stroke specific-quality of life (SS-QOL), six minute walk test, and maximal grip strength on the affected and non-affected side. The experimental group received gait training with a rehabilitation dog for 30 minutes once a week for 8 weeks. As a result of the study, there was a significant increase in SS-QOL, six minute walk test, and maximal grip strength on the affected side in the experimental group after the intervention. In addition, the experimental group showed significant improvement in SS-QOL, six minute walk test, and maximal grip strength on the affected side than the control group. Rehabilitation dog-walking may be an intervention method that can improve QOL and physical activity after stroke.

Effect of Multicultural Adolescents' Physical Satisfaction on Academic Adjustment : Mediating Effect of Self-esteem and Peer Relationship (다문화 청소년의 신체만족도가 학업적응에 미치는 영향 : 자아존중감과 친구관계의 매개효과)

  • This study analyzed the mediating effects of self-esteem and peer relationship in the effects between physical satisfaction and academic adaptation of multicultural youth. The subjects of the study were 1,064 first-year high school students at the time of the survey using the 8th Multicultural Youth Panel (MAPS) data. For data analysis, descriptive statistics, correlations, and path analysis of measurement variables were carried out using SPSS 25.0. According to the analysis, first, multicultural youth's body satisfaction has a positive effect on academic adaptation, and second, self-esteem is completely mediated in the relationship between body satisfaction and academic adaptation. Third, the relationship between multicultural youth's body satisfaction and academic adaptation has been partially mediated. The results will be used to develop basic data and programs to support healthy growth of multicultural youth. These results can be used to develop basic data and programs to devise support measures for healthy growth of multicultural youth.

  • The effects of monaural beating sound generated according to the number of tire pitch blocks to human body are measured from experiments, and the possibilities of similar positive effects of enhancing alpha waves in human brain are investigated. Due to the requirement of repeatability and measurement conditions, recorded sounds of the tire noise are used for the experiment in a quiet room and human responses are measured using HRV. Although the number of statistically meaningful results was small, it showed that positive human reactions are probably possible.

  • In this paper, a health care system is implemented which can identify the parameter for moving body after exercising based on home network. This system has catched a signal for physical condition of body data using data acquisition mechanism such as a data acquisition module, a data signal processing module and a feedback module. The composition has a functions of displacement point for a BMI and WDI, that the basic parameter measure to base on the heart rate, temperature. There are checked physical condition of body exercising to compounded a physical condition of sensory organ. There are to keep the lookout for the body condition that to estimate a health care with a physical organ through a exercise.

A Study on a Stress Measurement Algorithm Based on ECG Analysis of NUI-applied Tangible Game Users (NUI가 적용된 체감형 게임의 사용자 심전도 분석에 의한 스트레스 측정 알고리즘 연구)

  • NUI(Natural User Interface) allows users to directly interact with surrounding digital devices using their voices or body motions without additional input/output interface devices. Our study has been carried out on human users who play a tangible game with body motions in the NUI-applied smart space. ECG was measured for 60 seconds duration before and after playing the game to determine user stress levels, and the measured signals were analyzed through an improved Random Forest algorithm. In order to experiment by a supervised learning, users additionally input whether or not the user felt stress. Moreover, the improved algorithm showed 1.04% higher accuracy than existing algorithm.
