네트워크 기반 컴퓨터 시스템이 각종 악의적 공격에 의해 손상되더라도, 지속적인 서비스를 제공할 수 있게 해주는 침입 감내시스템(Intrusion Tolerance Systems) 설계기법의 중요한 요소 기술 중의 하나는 컴퓨터 시스템의 정량적 신인도(Dependability) 분석이라 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 침입 감내시스템의 신인도를 분석하기 위해 자율컴퓨팅(Autonomous Computing)의 핵심 기술인 자가 치유(Self-healing) 메커니즘을 적용하였다. 즉, 주 서버와 보조서버로 구성된 이중계 침입 감내시스템의 상태천이(State Transition)를 자가치유 메커니즘의 두 가지 요소(결함모델 및 시스템반응)를 활용하여 분석하였으며, 시뮬레이션 실험을 통해 침입 감내시스템의 가용도(Availability)를 정량적으로 정의하였다.

As embedded system has strict cost and space constraints, it is impossible to apply conventional fault-tolerant techniques directly for increasing the dependability of embedded system. In this paper, we propose software fault-tolerant mechanism which requires only minimum redundancy of system component. We define an utility metric that reflects the dependability of each embedded system component, and then measure the defined utility of each reconfiguration combinations to provide fault tolerance. The proposed utility evaluation process shows exponential complexity. However we reduce the complexity by hierachical subgrouping at the software level of each component. When some components of embedded system are tailed, reconfiguration operation changes the system state from current faulty state to pre-calculated one which has maximum utility combination.

Recently, in the field of sports, the use of data in conducting games, planning seasons, and operating teams has increased significantly. Also, in order to develop better players, it has become necessary to use data to accurately analyze their performance. Therefore, in this study, various data about rookie players was collected and pre-processed in order to analyze and visualize their performance. Additionally, an analysis was conducted to determine at least how many opportunities should be given to foster rookie players. Then, a data analysis method was presented for nurturing athletes by using data in the field of sports. It is expected that this study will contribute to fostering rookie players by utilizing data.

Jeungsan, Kang Il-Sun (hereafter, Jeungsan)'s perspective on divine beings can be characterized by the philosophical notion of divinity, which recognizes a variety of divine entities. Jeungsan insisted that all things embrace divine entities. Furthermore, he claimed that the backgrounds of all incidents were influenced by these gods. Jeungsan thought that the universe consists of the heavenly realm, the earthly realm and the underground realm. He insisted that there were many gods in each realm. And Jeungsan defined his times as the era of divine beings, which meant that the age was a time for divine beings to actively interact with one another and take the lead in world affairs. Divine beings were briskly involved in human affairs and could either reciprocate gratitude or attain revenge. They were also divine beings that could change the acts and perception of humans as well as judge human acts. However, Jeungsan predicted that by the time the paradisiacal land of immortals was established in the Later World, divine beings would instead run errands for humans. In addition, he forecast that divine beings would be entities likely to harbor grievances just like humans, yet they would ultimately become perfected beings in the Later World. Jeungsan further suggested a multitude of various concepts such as the mutual relationship wherein the realm of divine beings and the realm of humanity interrelate with each other, the mutual responses and functions between them, mutual itineration, co-existence, and the homogeneity of divine beings and humans, which described how both have the same innate characteristics. Jeungsan proposed the concept that 'Divinity is an existential state experienced after one's death." In this regard, he is the one who formulated a new perspective of divinity. Moreover, Jeunsan stressed the immortality of humans (continuity or eternality) and the co-existence of divine beings and humans. He emphasized that divinity is intrinsically immanent and the realm of divine beings has a hierarchical system that maintains order and is akin to that of the human realm. Jeungsan recognized a revolutionary change and perspective based on humanity by suggesting a unique view of humanity. In other words, he was a religious figure who introduced an ingenious view of divinity and dramatically transformed this pattern of reasoning. In conclusion, Jeungsan re-interpreted traditional views of divinity in Korea and systemized them into a new concept of divinity in an ingenious way.

최근 각종 언론매체에 2000년(Y2K)문제에 관한 보도가 부쩍 늘었다. 2000년 1월 1일에 비행기 타기가 겁난다는 이야기가 있는가 하면 미사일과 의료장비가 오동작하여 제어불능이 되지나 하지 않을까 하는 걱정. 특히 금융거래 불능에 따른 사회혼란과 국가 신인도 하락 등의 이야기가 들린다. 이런 일들은 Y2K문제에 대한 대응을 소홀히 할 때 충분히 예측 가능한 위험이다. '훈련 때 흘린 땀 한 방울이 전시의 피 한 방울을 대신한다.'는 격언이 생각나는 상황이다. 현재의 대응노력 여하에 따라 피해의 규모가 결정된다고 하겠다. 본 고에서는 은행권의 Y2K 대응상황을 간략히 정리해 보았다.

국가를 당사자로하는 계약에 관한 법률 시행령∙시행규칙 및 회계예규가 일부 개정되었다. 이번에 개정된 주요 내용은 입찰참가자격 사전심사 대상의 확대 및 의무화, 최저가낙찰제 대상공사의 확대, 건설재해 및 제재처분 사항 관련 신인도 평가제도 개선(본지 법령과 고시① 참조), 공사의 현장설명제의 보완, 계약이행보증방법의 변경제도 도입, 부정당업자의 입찰참가자격 제한 범위 확대, 입찰방법 심의기구의 일원화 등이다. 본지는 국가계약법 시행령∙시행규칙 및 회계예규의 주요 개정 내용을 게재한다.

차음성능 측정에 관한 국제간 신인도 향상을 위하여 home and away 테스트가 수행되었다. 동일 시편에 대한 비교 테스트 결과 대부분의 시편에서는 STC 1 ㏈ 이내의 차이를 보였다. 다만, 특정 시편의 경우 STC 5 ㏈의 차이가 발생하였다. 주원인으로는 잔향시간 측정 오차가 주원인으로 추정되며, 또한 부수적인 원인으로는 시편의 제작 및 설치의 차이 때문인 으로 사료된다.

중국이 WTO에 가입을 하고 러시아가 APEC에 가입할 예정으로 있는 것과 같이 한반도 주변의 국제 경제적 환경은 급격히 변하고 있다. WTO의 무역에 대한 기술 장벽 협정에서 뿐만 아니라 경제와 과학기술의 교류협력의 전반에 걸쳐 국가표준체계에 대한 국제적 신인도 확보는 중요하고 시급한 과제로 등장하였다. 이러한 배경에서 국가표준계획법은 제정되었다. 여기서는 그 배경과 내용 그리고 기본계획의 수립 방향에 대해서 기술한다.

농림축산검역본부(본부장 박봉균, 이하 검역본부)는 지난 6월 16일 세계동물보건기구(OIE)에서 조류인플루엔자 OIE 표준실험실 인증을 받았다. 아시아 최초 8개의 OIE 표준실험실을 보유하면서 이번 계기로 조류인플루엔자 진단·연구 및 방역분야에서 국제적 신인도 확보는 물론 아시아 지역에서 선도기관이 될 것으로 기대된다. 검역본부 조류인플루엔자연구진단과 이명헌 과장을 만나 그간 활동과 OIE 표준실험실 인증 획득의 의미와 향후 일정 등 앞으로 활동 계획에 대해 인터뷰했다.
