  • With reference management tool based on web, we could understand not only impact about non-author, such as hand-on worker, educator, who are out of academia, but also trace the subject fields of readers and their status. This study by analyzing mendeley, understand what kinds of subject fields and status of readers read library and information science field articles. As a result of analyzing the status and the major of the reader, readers were distributed in the fields of business administration, education and so on, and according to the reader's major, there was a significant difference (p = .000) between the subject area of relatively read a lot. By the way, as the result of relational analysis between citation rate and numbers of mendeley readership about medeley saved articles, correlation coefficient shows 0.585, however as the result of relational analysis limiting the groups, in case of author group who tends to read the articles for citing, correlation coefficient shows 0.619. On the other hand, non-author group shows 0.384.

  • This paper proposes a mutual identification and session key exchange scheme in secure vehicular communication based on the group signature. In VANETs, security requirements such as authentication, conditional privacy, non-repudiation, and confidentiality are required to satisfy various vehicular applications. However, existing VANET security methods based on the group signature do not support a mutual identification and session key exchange for data confidentiality. The proposed scheme allows only one credential to authenticate ephemeral Diffie-Hellman parameters generated every key exchange session. Our scheme provides a robust key exchange and reduces storage and communication overhead. The proposed scheme also satisfies security requirements for various application services in VANETs.

  • Recently, incidents such as proxy surgery (unlicensed medical practice) have been reported in the media that threaten the safety of patients. Alternatives such as the introduction of operating room surveillance camera devices to prevent proxy surgery are emerging, but there are practical difficulties in implementing them due to strong opposition from the medical community. However, the social credibility of doctors is falling as incidents such as proxy surgery occur frequently. In this paper, we propose a medical staff identification system combining Beacon and iris recognition. The system adds reliability by operating on the blockchain network. The system performs primary identification by performing user authentication through iris recognition and proves that the medical staff is in the operating room through beacons. It also ensures patient trust in the surgeon by receiving beacon signals in the background and performing iris authentication at random intervals to prevent medical staff from leaving the operating room after only performing initial certification.

  • A new distribution of Dalbergia hupeana has been reported at Mt. Yudal in Mokpo-si, Korea. It was previously thought to be restricted to China, but is now recognized as a new addition to Korean flora. Species identification was confirmed according to morphological characteristics and DNA sequences. The genus Dalbergia is clearly distinguished from other leguminous tree species in Korea due to its diadelphous (5+5) stamens. Here, we describe the characteristics of the genus and species and speculate about whether its origins are native or introduced in Korea.

  • During the course of the execution of the project entitled Distribution Research of Rare Plants, we found the habitats of two rare ferns with obscure and/or extremely restricted distribution ranges, as previously unreported habitats. A subantarctic fern reported on Hamgyeong-do and Gangwon-do, Dryopteris coreano-montana Nakai, was found on Mt. Ibam in Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do. A subtropical fern reported south of Jeju-do, Dryopteris decipiens (Hook.) Kuntze, was newly found on Mt. Cheongwan of Jangheung-gun in Jeollanam-do.

  • We describe a new taxon of Goodyera (Orchidaceae), G. ${\times}$ tamnaensis N.S. Lee, K.S. Lee, S.H. Yeau & C.S. Lee, sp. nov., from Jeju Island. This taxon is presumed to be a hybrid between G. schlechtendaliana and G. velutina based on several morphological characteristics, i.e., leaf venation, a patterned leaf surface and raised leaf epidermal cells, the color of the flower and the bract, the lateral sepal shape, and the hair length. The morphological characteristics and illustrations of the species based on the holotype are provided together with photographs of the habitat.

  • In the course of execution for Inventories and Management of Plant Resources of Korea, We found new habitats of 4 plant species which distribution ranges are obscure and/or extremely restricted. A subtropical fern distributed in Jeju-do, Woodwardia japonica (L. f.) Sm., was found in Mt. Gambang-san of Hampyeong-gun, Jeollanam-do. A saprophytic orchid, Galeola septentrionalis Reichb., was found in Mt. Ggachi-bong of Boseong-gun, Jeollanam-do. Peristrophe japonica (Thunb.) Bremek., known in Jeollanam-do, was newly found in Mt. Mudeung-san of Gwangju-si. Viburnum furcatum Blume mainly distributed in Jeju-do and Ulleung-do was found in Mt. Jabyeong-san of Gangneung-si, Gangwon-do.
