Tourists' needs are changing rapidly and new niche markets, such as nature tourism, eco-tourism, and marine tourism, are flourishing in response to consumer demand. Especially, the estimating demand & supply of manpower in marine tourism is a very important issue for basic tourism HRD policy. This research is focused on the estimation of growing demands of manpower and suggests the method to estimate the proper number of manpower in marine tourism industry.

The purpose of this research is to identify the major evaluation criteria of IT investment projects and establish the importance weights of criteria through AHP analysis. Seven evaluation criteria which have been drawn from prior studies and industry practices are direct costs, indirect costs, financial benefits, strategic value, risk, technical necessity, and political considerations. Data have been collected from 95 IT projects in 40 public organizations and private firms in Korea. After having applied the data reliability test, 79 projects have been selected. The results of AHP analysis show the importance weights and priorities of seven evaluation criteria as follows: financial benefits 25.2%, strategic value 22.36%, direct costs 14.34%, risk 12.10%, technical necessity 11.55%, political considerations 8.3%, and indirect costs 6.48%. And the weights of seven criteria shows considerable differences among three different IT project types such as transactional, informational, and infrastructural.

A estimating capability of software effort, duration and cost is based on accurate size estimate of the software to be developed. A simplified function point (FP) approach to software size estimation is described, which first skip the computation step for value adjustment factor, thus directly obtaining final adjusted FP from unadjusted FP. The research seeks suitable models based on statistical regression models in the context of case study based on 783 software projects. The approach also are built for subsets of projects using new development, enhancement and re-development types.

일본의 재단법인 광산업기술진흥협회는 각종 조사와 테크놀로지(Technology) 로드맵 사업을 기초로 국가적 레벨에서 산학연과 함께 다양하고 강력한 광관련 기술개발활동을 전개하고 있다. 협회는 2002년도부터 5년간에 걸쳐 진행한 "광(Photonic)네트워크", "고효율 유기디바이스", "대용량 광 저장(Storge)" 등의 국가적 연구개발 프로젝트를 2007년 3월로 종료했다. 또한 2006년도부터 신규로 "저손실 옵티컬(Optical) 신기능 부재"의 연구개발을 시작했으며, 이어서 이미 지난 2002년에 완료된 "나도메타제어 광디스크시스템" 연구개발 프로젝트의 성과와 관련하여 실용화를 향한 활동을 진행하고 있다. 또한 종래부터 검토.제안해온 PDP(플라즈마 디스플레이)의 기술개발에 대해서도 지원.협력을 진행하고 있으며, 차세대 디스플레이의 기반기술에 관한 조사를 실시하여 보고서를 정리했다. 본 고는 앞선 기술개발을 추진하고 있는 일본의 사례를 통해 광기술 흐름을 살펴보고 국내업체들의 광기술 개발에 도움이 되고자 ‘일본 재단법인 광산업기술진흥협회의 2006년도 사업보고서’ 주에서 발췌.정리한 것이다. 번역은 (주)그린광학의 유정훈 과장이 수고해 주셨다.

양자컴퓨팅 시대가 도래하면 현재까지 안전하다고 여겨지는 암호 알고리즘이 쉽게 해독될 수 있다. 이에 대비하기 위해 NIST에서는 PQC 알고리즘 개발 프로젝트를, 한국에서는 KpqC 프로젝트를 통해 양자컴퓨팅 대응 암호 알고리즘을 개발하고 있다. 양자컴퓨팅 시대에 안전한 새로운 암호 알고리즘 개발도 중요하지만, 암호취약점 발견이 일상이 될 경우 시스템 변경을 최소화하면서 기존 암호 알고리즘을 신규 암호 알고리즘으로 대체할 수 있는 암호화 선제대응력(Crypto Agility)에 대한 준비도 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 기존 시스템의 영향을 최소화하면서 암호 관련 요소들(암호 알고리즘, 암호 파라미터, 암호 프로토콜 등)을 대체하기 위해 필수적인 암호화 선제대응력 요구사항을 제안하고, 이를 실행하기 위해 정책기관에서 추진되어야 할 실행항목을 제시한다.

Nowadays, the IS project is getting more and more complicated and large-scaled. Many researchers and practitioners are interested in the IS development methodologies, automated tools and techniques to decrease project failure and to increase IS project performance. This research is to seize the management level of PMO affecting on the IS project, as a new method to increase the IS project development performance. As a result of surveying the present PMO operation state with banks which are the leading industry to accept the PMO in Korea, technology support management and infrastructure management are the core functions to affect the IS performance including schedule management, quality management, and user and stakeholders' satisfaction. Also, the PMO management level is the important point of IS project success. Among the 5 levels PMI suggested, PMO can implement the project effectively at least at the third level. Korean companies introducing the PMO have to do research the PMO core functions and the management levels according to the project scale, and review the distinctive features of their organization to increase the maturity of IS project. This research has been proved through the Full Structural Equation Model. The results show that the five core functions of PMO have relationship with the IS project performance.

The purposes of this dissertation are to identify various factors affecting the outcomes of feasibility analysis and investment decision makings of new IT project plans and empirically analysis the relationships among them. 9 variables which have been drawn from prior studies and industry practices are the amount of the necessary resource such as development budget and time, the expect financial benefits, the degree of alignments between IT projects and the business strategy, the estimated risk, and the investment priority as the dependent variable. Data from 125 IT projects of K bank, the leading commercial bank in Korea, have been collected and Regression Analysis and ANOVA have been performed. As results, 5 out of 8 hypothesis have been accepted partially or totally.

In recent software defect prediction research, defect prediction between cross projects and cross-version projects are actively studied. Cross-version defect prediction studies assume WP(Within-Project) so far. However, in the CV(Cross-Version) environment, the previous work does not consider the distribution difference between project versions is important. In this study, we propose an automated Bayesian optimization framework that considers distribution differences between different versions. Through this, it automatically selects whether to perform transfer learning according to the difference in distribution. This framework is a technique that optimizes the distribution difference between versions, transfer learning, and hyper-parameters of the classifier. We confirmed that the method of automatically selecting whether to perform transfer learning based on the distribution difference is effective through experiments. Moreover, we can see that using our optimization framework is effective in improving performance and, as a result, can reduce software inspection effort. This is expected to support practical quality assurance activities for new version projects in a cross-version project environment.

최근 차세대통신망(이하 BcN)의 구축과 이를 바탕으로 하는 신규 서비스 제공을 위한 다양한 프로젝트들이 활발하게 추진 중에 있다. 그러나, 이러한 차세대 멀티미디어 서비스 제공과 통신망의 구축에 있어 여전히 QoS 보장 방안이 해결되어야 할 중요한 이슈로 논의되고 있다 본 논문에서는 BcN에서 서비스품질을 보장하기 위한 품질 파라미터 추출에 대한 접근 방법과 품질 보장을 위한 몇 가지 주요 이슈를 논의코자 한다.

임베디드 자바플랫폼을 정의하는 J2ME는 컨피규레이션에 따라 크게 CLDC와 CDC로 구분된다. CLDC 자바 플랫폼은 저사양 휴대 단말 등에 탑재되어 널리 상용화되고 있으며, CLDC와 비교하여 CDC 자바 플랫폼은 자바2와 호환 가능한 완전한 JVM이 포함되고 고기능의 폭넓은 자바 API의 지원이 가능하므로 홈서버, 디지털 TV, 텔레매틱스 분야 및 고사양 모바일 단말 등에서 제공될 신규 서비스를 위한 자바 플랫폼으로 지목되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 클린룸으로 구현한 JVM과 GNU 프로젝트인 Classpath를 기반으로 구현한 PP 규격의 클래스 라이브러리를 통합한 CDC 자바 플랫폼 개발에 대해 기술한다.
