  • 본 논 연구에서는 이동전화기를 인위적으로 손상시켜 놓고 제품의 결함에 의해 문제가 발생한 것처럼 주장하는 소비자의 부도덕한 주장이 잘못됐음을 밝히기 위한 것이다. 이동전화기의 내부 또는 배터리 단자 사이에 바닷물, 땀, 침 등이 스며들어가면 단자 사이에 누설전가 흘러 그 때 발생된 열에 의해 금속이 용융되는 특징을 알 수 있다. 이동전화기가 생리 식염수에 빠지면 일정 시간이 경과된 후에 진동의 발생과 동시에 불규칙적으로 자판이 켜짐과 꺼짐의 반복이 발생하며, 배터리를 제거하면 진동, 켜짐 및 꺼짐 등이 정지한다. 이동전화기 내부에 바닷물, 땀, 침 등이 많이 흘러들어가 부품에 손상에 생겼더라도 단자간의 전압은 정상상태와 동일한 3.9V를 나타냈다.

  • 우리나라에서 젓갈류의 원료로서 가장 많이 이용될 뿐 아니라 제품 생산량도 가장 많은 멸치를 이용하여, 일시 대량 어획되었을 때 많은 량을 신속하게 처리 할 수 있는 기업적인 발효생산에 목표를 두고, 저식염 속성발효액화물의 가공을 위한 일련의 연구를 계획하였다. 전보에서는 멸치 발효액화물의 가공조건을 설정하기 위하여 기존 저식염 정어리 발효액화물의 가공연구를 참조하여 멸치 내장 효소의 최적온도, 가열 전처리조의 제작, 적정 식염첨가량, 전처리조건 등을 검토하고 상온에서 저식염 멸치 발효액화물을 가공하여 180일간 숙성시키면서 엑스분 질소 및 젓갈류의 맛 성분으로서 중요한 함질소 엑스성분인 유리아미노산과 oligopetide 아미노산을 분석하여 맛과 관련성에 대하여 검토하였다.   • (1) 가족계획사업(家族計劃事業)이 10여년간(餘年間) 계속(繼續)되고 있으나 아직도 농촌(農村)에서는 그 성과(成果)가 저조(低調)한 것 같은데, 비단 농촌(農村)뿐만은 아니지만 전국적(全國的)으로 본사업(本事業)에 적극(積極) 주력(注力)하여 인구증가(人口增加)를 억제(抑制)하고 식량(食糧)을 위시(爲始)하여 식염(食鹽)의 소비량(消費量)도 줄이는 데 가일층(加一層) 노력(努力)해야 소득증대(所得增大)에도 이바지할 것으로 여긴다. (2) 도시(都市)가 농촌(農村)보다는 약간 덜 짜게 먹는 형편(形便)이기는 하나 하루 평균(平均) 섭취(攝取)해야 할 식염량(食鹽量)(20g)보다는 도시(都市)와 농촌(農村)이 다 같이 필요이상(必要以上)으로 4배(倍)나 많은 식염(食鹽)을 섭취(攝取)하므로 하루 빨리 소득증대(所得增大)를 모색(摸索)하여 채식위주(菜食爲主)의 식생활(食生活)에서 벗어날 수 있는 식생활(食生活) 개선(改善)이 있어야 하며 많은 식염(食鹽)의 섭취(攝取)에서 유발(誘發)되는 이차적(二次的) 부작용(副作用)을 추구(追究)하여 만일(萬一) 그것이 발견(發見)된다면 그 해결방안(解決方案)을 연구(硏究)해야 할 것이다. 이것에 또한 본연구(本硏究)의 더 큰 의의(意義)가 있다고 하겠다.

Effects of 4% Hypertonic Saline Solution Mouthwash on Oral Health of Elders in Long Term Care Facilities (4% 고농도 식염수를 이용한 구강함수가 요양시설 입소노인의 구강건강에 미치는 효과)

  • Purpose: This study was done to examine the effects of 4% hypertonic saline solution mouthwash and tooth brushing education on the oral health of elders living in long term care facilities. Methods: In this quasi-experimental study, the participants were assigned to a 2% experimental group (n=20), a 4% experimental group (n=20), and a control group (n=20). Data were analyzed using ANOVA, repeated measures ANOVA, Fisher exact test, Chi-square test, Kruskal-Wallis test and multiple response analysis with the SAS program. Results: Regular tooth brushing and use of 4% hypertonic saline solution mouthwash by elders provided better oral health by decreasing xerostomia, oral tongue plaque, halitosis, and the number of oral bacteria. Conclusion: The results indicate that regular tooth brushing with continuous 4% hypertonic saline solution mouth washing education promotes oral health for elders in long term care facilities, thus the dental care described in this study is recommended for elders in long term facilities.

  • Ascidian muscle was blackened during the frozen storage, so the prevention against blackening was investigated. Low storage temperature and packaging in polyethylene bags delayed the blackening of ascidian muscle during the frozen storage. The blackening was prevented by dipping for $3{\sim}5$ minutes in 3% brine solution containing 0.3% citric acid, packaging in the polyethylene bag, freezing at $-45^{\circ}C$ for 5 hours and storing at $-20^{\circ}C$. Under this condition, the color and the quality of frozen ascidian muscle were nearly not changed for 200 days.

  • The effects of the addition of starch, salt and soda ash to the dough for Naengmyon (wheat-sweet potato starch) on the mechanical property of Naengmyon noodle were evaluated by using creep test. The strain measurement was made by taking photograph with VTR system. The creep curve of noodle strand could be fitted to the 4 element Burgers model. The instantaneous elasticity and Newtonian viscosity of the noodle strand decreased by the addition of starch. The instantaneous elasticity decreased by the addition of salt up to 4%. The mechamical parameters of the noodle varied inconsistently by the addition of soda ash.

  • Laser surface dimple patterning is a method of laser surface texturing to reduce lubrication sliding friction. The dimple pattern improves friction properties by reserving lubricant and trapping worn particles. This surface texturing technology can reduce coefficients of friction and extend the service life by applying a uniform load to the surface of the material. This study investigates the friction properties using PMMA, a highly compatible polymer material, as a specimen. We observe the friction properties of untextured specimens by processing specimens with dimple pattern densities of 5 and 10 on the surface area using laser. Dimple pattern density affects the coefficient of friction. We present the following friction property results using a pin-on-disc sliding friction test under saline lubrication. The coefficients of friction for the dimple patterned specimens are lower than those for the untextured specimens. As the normal load and sliding speed increase, the coefficients of friction of the dimple pattern specimens decrease differently from those of the untextured specimens. The specimen with a dimple pattern density of 5 at a normal load of 24.5 N and a sliding speed of 0.22 m/s has the best friction properties. Notably, different friction properties are exhibited depending on the dimple pattern densities.

Influence of Methylene Blue on the Serum Protein of Mice Exposed to X-rays (Methylene Blue가 X-선에 조사된 마우스 혈청단백질에 미치는 영향)

  • SM 계 자성 마우스를 대조군과 실험군으로 나누어,대조군에는 0.9% 생리식염수를 , 실험군에는 methylene blue(110 mg/kg, 식염수에 용해, pH 7.0)를 각각 피하주사하고, 40 분, 6 시간 또는 24시간후에 양군을 다같이 120 r X-선으로 일시 전신조사하였다. 조사후 21 시간에 걸쳐 albumin-globulin 비, 전혈청단백질 , 그리고 체중에 대한 간 및 신장중량비를 측정하여 조사전 처리시핵에 따른 methylene blue 의 방어효과를 조사하였다. 일반적으로 양군에서 조사후 일구간에 따라 2개의 변화가 나타났으며, 첫째는 1 일구에 , 둘째 상은 8 일구에 나타났다. methylene blue 처리는 이 두 개 상 일구에서 albumin -globulin 비의 증가성, 전혈청단백질 및 간장중량의 감소성에 대하여 큰 지체성을 나타냈다. 조사전 40 분 처리군에서 특히 현저한 방어작용이 있었으나 6 시간 및 24 시간전 처리구에서는 별 영향이 없었다.

The Effect of Artificial Tear Components on Tear Film Stability of Dry Eyes in the Early Stage of Soft Contact Lenses Wear (소프트콘택트렌즈를 착용한 건성안의 착용초기 눈물막 안정성에 인공눈물 성분 조성이 미치는 영향)

  • Purpose: In the present study, the effect of artificial tears with different ingredients on tear film stability and subjective symptoms of dry eyes in the early stage of soft contact lenses wear was investigated. Methods: The three kinds of artificial tears and saline solution were respectively applied onto 50 dry eyes which wore soft contact lenses made of etafilcon A. Then, non-invasive tear film break-up time (NIBUT) was measured at every five minutes for 30 minutes right after the instillation of artificial tears, and the changes in blink rate and subjective symptoms were estimated after 30 minutes from the instillations. Results: All three kinds of artificial tears increased NIBUT larger than saline. The effect of increasing NIBUT immediately after the instillation of artificial tears was the largest when the artificial tear containing viscosity enhancer was used. The duration time of the effect was the longest when the artificial tear having both surfactant and viscosity enhancer was applied. The blink rate was not significantly changed when both artificial tears and saline solution were instilled. Subjective symptoms were significantly improved by the instillation of both artificial tears and saline solution and dryness, irritation, tiredness, stiffness, dazzling were improved by the use of most solutions. However, the subjective symptoms were rebounded to the level before the instillation of artificial tears after 30 minute-instillation. Conclusions: It was revealed that both artificial tears and saline solution could improve the subjective symptoms of dry eye in the early stage of soft contac lenses however, the effect of these solutions on the tear film stability was different according to the components. From the results, it is suggested that the proper selection of artificial tears is necessary for the improvement of dry eye symptoms at the early stage of soft contact lenses wear in dry eye.

Study of the Difference in Residual Amounts according to the Method of Securing Intravenous Injections and the Dose of Physiological Saline during 18F-FDG Administration (18F-FDG 투여 시 정맥주사 확보 방법 및 생리식염수 용량에 따른 잔류량의 차이에 관한 연구)

  • This study compares the difference between the remaining amount in syringes according to injection method and the dose of physiological saline when the radiopharmaceutical 18F-FDG isotope is injected into patients who visited the hospital for PET examination. After performing a CT or MRI using a contrast medium when 18F-FDG was injected into 40 patients who came to the hospital for PET examination without removing the 3-way, the radioactivity remaining in the syringe and the 3-way was measured and the dose of radioactivity confirmed. At this time, 20 patients were divided into different dose groups of physiological saline. Another injection method was used to compare the remaining amount of the syringe and the difference in the remaining amount according to the amount of physiological saline when the injection was performed with an extension. After an injection of 18F-FDG, the actual administered dose was confirmed by measuring the radioactivity remaining in the syringe and the 3-way or extension with a calibrator. As a result of measuring the radioactivity of the syringe before administering the radiopharmaceutical and the radioactivity of the syringe and the 3-way or extension after administration, the 3-way injection method in 10 cc's of physiological saline had the lowest residual amount. The remaining amount increased in the order of the extension to 10 cc's of saline and the 3-way to 5 cc's of saline. Likewise, the 5 cc's saline solution and the extension injection method demonstrated the highest residual amounts. The residual difference with the lowest level of remaining injection method was found to be 0.053 mCi. It was found that in a PET examination, by considering the radioactivity remaining in the 3-way and extension and by adjusting the dose of physiological saline, if the intended dose to be administered to the actual patient is determined, it is possible to administer the radiopharmaceutical to the patient more accurately.
