Application of New Type Accelerator for High Quality Shotcrete (고품질 숏크리트 개발을 위한 새로운 급결제 적용)

  • From the early 1980's, the New Austrian Tunnelling Method (NATM) has been developed as one of the standard tunnelling methods in Korea. Approximately 10 years ago, wet-mix shotcrete with sodium silicate (waterglass) accelerator was introduced and widely used to tunnel lining and underground support. However, this accelerator had some disadvantages due to the decrease of long-term strength compared to plain concrete (without accelerator) and low quality of the hardened shotcrete. In order to compensate for these disadvantages, recently developed alkali-free accelerator has been successfully demonstrated in numerous projects and applications as a new material to make tunnels more durable and safer. An experimental investigation was carried out in order to verify the strength behavior of wet-mix Steel Fiber Reinforced Shotcrete (SFRS) with alkali-free accelerator. Compressive strength, flexural strength, and flexural toughness were measured by testing specimens extracted from the shotcrete panels. From the results, wet-mix SFRS with alkali-free accelerator exhibited excellent strength improvement compared to the conventional shotcrete accelerator.

A Study on IISS Software Architecture of Combat Management System for improving modifiability

  • The IISS(Integrated Interface Storage System) software uses communication methods such as DSS(Data Sharing Service), UDP to perform the function of sending all messages from the Combat Management System to the analytical computer. Because IISS software handles all message used in the Combat Management System, the source code is large and has a highly dependent feature on message changes. Modification of software is a task that requires a lot of labor, such as series of software reliability test. so research has been conducted to reduce software development costs, including minimizing software modifications. In this paper, We study the method of messages receiving and architectural structure improvement to minimize reliance on message changes in the Combat Management System and improve the modifiability. Reduced message dependency by changing the way DSS and UDP protocols are communicated to Packet Sniffing. In addition, Factory Method Pattern were applied to improve the software design. Test comparing existing software and development elements have confirmed that the software has improved its modifiability and reuse.

  • 희귀질환이란 일반적으로 그 유병율이 인구 일만 명당 5명 이하인 질환을 말한다. 세계에는 약 7,000여종의 희귀질환이 알려져 있고 학술지에 매 주 대략 5종의 새로운 희귀질환이 보고되고 있다. 희귀 의약품(orphan drug)이란 희귀질환치료제 또는 수익성이 없어 개발을 기피하는 일반질환 치료제로서 정부가 지정한 의약품을 말한다. Orphan 의약품의 개발에는 많은 장점이 있다. Orphan 의약품으로 정부의 지정을 받으면 세금감면을 통한 연구비 지원, 임상시험 비용 지원, 신약허가 심사비 면제, 시장독점권 부여 등의 특혜가 주어진다. 희귀질환의 대부분은 단순한 유전적 결함에 의하는 경우가 많아 치료제의 표적발견이 비교적 쉬우므로 개발 성공률이 높고, 임상시험기간이 짧으며, 시판허가를 받을 확률이 높아 연구개발비용이 적게 든다. 그 결과 전세계 orphan 의약품 시장은 최근 매년 6%씩 성장하여 2014년에는 약 1,120억달러의 시장을 형성할 것으로 추정된다. Orphan 의약품 시장은 현재 매년 8.9%씩 성장하고 글로벌 시장의 51%를 점유하는 미국을 중심으로 확장되어 가고 있으며, 총매출액의 64.3%가 유전자재조합의약품에 의한 것으로 알려져 있다. 이러한 의약품시장의 변화와 사회적 요구에 부응하여 한국 또한 희귀질환 치료제 개발의 활성화를 위해 재정적 지원체계를 구축하고, 허가관리를 개선하며, 법률적 제도를 완비하는 과정에 있다. 현재 희귀질환의 치료적 타겟을 찾아 신물질이나 기존의 약물을 발굴하는 과정이 주로 대학이나 연구 중심 병원에서 이루어지고 있다. 제도가 잘 정립되어 있는 미국 시장을 겨낭하여 orphan 의약품 개발을 전략적으로 수행한다면 큰 성공을 거둘 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

The Evaluation for Estimation Method of Deformation Modulus of Rock Mass Using RMR System (RMR을 이용한 암반의 주요 변형계수 추정식의 적용성 평가)

  • The deformation modulus of rock masse is a very important design factor for the computation of stability of tunnels and their support systems. Several empirical formulas to estimate the deformation modulus using simple rock classification methods such as RQD or RMR are widely used because field tests to evaluate the deformation modulus are very expensive and time consuming work. However, these formulas can be depended on experiences from the characteristics of local sites in each country. Therefore, in this study, the applicability of empirical formulas was analyzed by comparing estimated value with the measured value from eight sites in South Korea. The results show that the estimated value based on the empirical formulas partially have tendency to overestimate. Especially, in case of sedimentary rocks, it was too difficult to apply to the empirical formulas because there was no relationship between estimated value and measured value. For these reasons, additional data from many tests and accurate analyses are necessary to evaluate the estimation method for the deformation modulus considering the local characteristics of rock masse.

  • The user authentication and authorization in the current home network system almost works at home and home users, sometimes novice, should manage the system directly. This situation can make much of troubles, sometimes cause some suity problems. Moreover, the system costs high to build up, demands special user knowledge to maintain. In this paper, we propose the user authentication and authorization system based on remote management server to solve the problems, designed and implemented the system. To verify the system performance and function, we built a demo system for information appliances. The results of the test, the authentication and authorization function works well and reliably.

The Shelf-life Prediction of Single-Base Propellants by applying the Kinetic Model of n-th Order (n차 반응속도 모델을 적용한 단기추진제의 저장수명 예측)

  • Single-base propellants contain a single energetic component: nitrocellulose. Accurate predictions of propellant shelf-life should result in cost savings in terms of human and material resources. This study derived an optimized kinetic model reaction order that described stabilizer consumption and estimated propellant shelf-life. High temperature accelerated aging tests gave an optimum reaction order value of 1.15481, from which the minimum standard error of a linear regression estimate of 16.284 was obtained. At normal storage temperature of $21-30^{\circ}C$, propellants should have a safe shelf-life of 140 years, and a minimum of 35 years. It is necessary to consider the temperature range in ammunition storage areas to predict propellant shelf-life more accurately.

  • Deformational characteristics of subgrade soils are important properties in the mechanistic analysis and design of pavement system. In this study, to evaluate the effect of specimen construction methods on deformational characteristics of subgrade soils in Korea, resonant column tests were performed for specimens constructed by various methods. Specimen construction method affected to the modulus value but the variation in the normalized modulus reduction curve was almost identical. The effects of specimen construction method on modulus are decreased with increasing confining pressure. The average maximum variation in the modulus value with different specimen construction methods was estimated as 16.8%. The differences in the modulus value of the specimens with same water content and dry density conditions that made by gyratory compaction and impact compaction were very small within 5.2%. The impact compaction method was proposed as a specimen construction method for determining the design input parameter testing considering that impact compaction method is much simpler and require less expensive specimen construction equipment and setup than gyratory compaction method.

  • 본 논문은 반도체 및 평판 디스플레이 생산공정에서 가동되고 있는 건식 진공펌프들의 정밀 상태진단 및 예지 보수를 위한 pump monitoring system (PMS)의 제품화에 필요한 프로그램의 개발 내용을 소개한다. 본 연구에서 소개하는 건식 진공펌프들의 정밀 상태진단 및 예지보수기법은 PCT 특허 2 건으로 이미 등록된 내용이며, 본 논문은 이들 기법의 실제 구현에서 직면하는 기술적 문제점과 극복 방안을 제시한다. 본 논문에서는 현재 반도체 공정에 사용되고 있는 건식 진공펌프들로부터 측정하는 다중 상태변수들의 조사 결과를 소개한다. 이들 상태변수 측정치들이 갖는 개략적 특성을 통계적 분포함수로 분석한 결과를 우선 보인다. 특히 펌프 구동모터들의 소비 전류신호는 두 평균값에 대한 분포 즉 두 종의 분포함수를, 그리고 온도, purge gas 유량, 배기구 압력 등은 정상적 평균값에 대한 한나의 분포를 보였다. 따라서 구동모터들의 소비전류의 분포 즉 두 상하 수준('low and high' current level)에 따라 batch data를 구분하는 방법의 개발이 필요하였다. 본 연구에서는 step 함수형 eigenvector를 적용하여 소비전류 신호의 상하수준 천이 영역과 방향을 동시에 인식할 수 있는 기법을 개발 적용하였으며, 3300회의 배출가스 부하에 변화에 대한 천이 영역과 방향을 인식에 하나의 실패도 보이지 않음을 확인하였다. 기존의 측정 상태변수에는 회전기계류의 정밀 상태진단 및 예지보수에 핵심적인 기계진동 측정용 진동센서를 포함하고 있지 않은 기술적 문제점이 발견되었다. 기존 진동센서들의 높은 가격 뿐 아니라 진동센서의 출력신호를 저/중/고역 주파수 대역의 실효치로 환산하는 기술적 한계 때문에 진공펌프 상태진단에 아직 사용하고 있지 않고 있다. 본 연구에서는 진동선서 비용의 저감화 방안뿐 아니라 로터 회전 대역(250Hz 이하 저주파 영역), 베어링 진동 대역(250 Hz~2.5 kHz의 중간 주파수 영역), 그리고 기어 진동 대역(2.5 kHz~10 kHz 주파수 영역)별 실효치를 실 시간 측정할 수 있는 진동측정 모듈의 제품화 모델을 개발하였다. 개발 제품의 성능 뿐 아니라 현장 시험결과를 소개한다. 마지막으로 본 연구팀이 개발한 PCT 특허 2 건에 포함된 건식 진공펌프들의 정밀 상태진단 및 예지보수기법에 대한 현장 시험결과를 간략히 소개한다.

The Evaluation for Running Safety of Incheon International Airport Railway EMU (인천국제공항철도 전동차의 주행안전성 평가)

  • The dynamic characteristic test result of electric rail car which is operated in Incheon International Airport Railroad is described in this paper. Express train in Incheon International Airport Railroad drives at 120km/h first in the country and derailment coefficient was measured for empty car and full-loaded car respectively. The measurement result of derailment coefficient, a key safety indicator about derailment, of empty car was higher than full-loaded car and both were lower than 0.8. The railway state wasn't good in operated section where is serviced about 80eh and derailment coefficient also increased. Horizontal pressure was below 2.1 ton at empty car and below 2.4 ton at full-loaded car. The electric rail car in Incheon International Airport Railroad has been confirmed it's running safety at 120km/h by the measurement of derailment coefficient. But the way of assessing applied in this paper has demerits such as complication of test method, difficulty for measurement device installation and high cost. Therefore the method which is simple to measure and can certify vehicle's safety even when service driving has to be researched.

Shear Characteristics of Elastomeric Bearing Rubber Deteriorated by Accelerated Heat Aging(2): Chloroprene Rubber (가속열 노화로 열화된 탄성받침 고무재료의 전단 특성(2): 합성고무)

  • Elastomeric bearings composed of flexible rubber materials and steel reinforcement plates are widely used for seismic retrofit of bridges due to their excellent vertical stiffness and flexible lateral stiffness. Especially, it has the advantages of simple construction and low cost. Chloroprene rubber, a type of rubber material, has greater resistance to aging than natural rubber, but its performance is also degraded due to various deterioration factors. Although these aging characteristics are not reflected in the seismic design standards and seismic performance evaluation guidelines, it is reasonable to reflect this when related studies are accumulated. For chloroprene rubber, accelerated heat aging test was performed with variables of heating temperatures and exposure time to analyze shear characteristics. As aging progresses the maximum shear stress and shear strain decrease. Also, the shear stiffness is greatly increased at the same shear strain.
