The primary aim of this study is to find out the relationship of examination stress with serum cortisol and prolatin levels. 20 male medical students participated in this study. Global assessment of recent stress (GARS) scale and SCL-90R were used to measure stress perception and psychopathology. Radioimmunoassay was used to assess serum cortisol and prolactin. Serum cortisol level was significantly higher during exam period than during nonexam period. However, there was no significant difference in serum prolactin level between the two periods. In psychopathology, only interpersonal sensitivity had a significantly negative correlation with serum cortisol level during exam period. On the other hand, stress perception had no significant correlation with serum cortisol and prolactin levels during each of exam and non-exam period. The results suggest that cortisol is more likely to be associated with psychological stress such as examination than prolactin, and that specific psychopathology such as interpersonal sensitivity is more likely to be associated with lower serum cortisol level.

성공적인 제품개발을 위해서는 효과적인 평가가 필수적이다. 이러한 제품평가를 위해 여러 가지 신뢰성 시험이 실시되고 있으며 시간에 따라 특성치의 열화를 평가하는 열화시험도 많이 적용되고 있다. 열화시험을 비롯한 신뢰성시험들은 대부분 장기간이 소요되고, 시험 종료 후 불합격되면 평가의 반복이 필요하고 이에 따라 평가기간이 길어진다. 그러므로 평가 초기에 이상이 있는 경우에는 미리 불합격 시키는 것이 평가기간을 단축할 수 있다. 조기에 불합격 판정을 하기 위해서는 신뢰성시험 시간과 엄격도의 조정이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 시험시간 단축을 위한 엄격도 선정방법을 제안하고 광픽업의 적용사례를 제시한다.

최근 중장비용 도료의 외관 즉 색상 및 광택의 변화는 상품가치를 결정하는 중요한 요소의 하나로 대두되고 있다. 이와 관련 도장 품질향상을 위해서 각종의 신도료가 개발되고 있고 물성 확인은 필수적이다. 특히 검사 항목중 내후성 확인은 Field에서 2년 이상 장시간의 시험기간이 필요하나 검증기간 단축을 위해 시험실에서 Weathering test를 시행하고 있다. 그러나 이러한 Lab. test 결과와 실제 Field data와의 상관관계를 알 수 없어 추정에 그치는 것이 현실이었다. 본 연구에서는 중장비용 우레탄도료의 내후성에 영향을 미치는 인자를 고려, 물성을 대폭 향상시킨 도료에 대해 시험실 Weathering test 결과와 옥외폭로시험 결과, 실제 장비에 적용한 Data를 토대로 중장비용 우레탄 도료의 내후성시험 가속계수를 도출하여 개발도료의 내후성 검증기간을 단축하고자 하였다.

원자로 격납건물은 그 기능적 중요성 때문에 건설종료후 반드시 원자로 가상사고를 가정한 조건에 대해 구조적 건전성을 입증하여야 한다. 본 논문은 이러한 요건에 따라 수행된 월성 3호기 원자로 격납건물 구조건전성 시험(SIT : Structural Integrity Test)의 개요와 결과를 분석한 것으로 시험결과 월성 3호기는 설계시 고려한 허용범위내에서 거동하였으며 사고시 압력하중이 큰 경수로형 원자로와 달리 시험기간중 외기 온도 변화에 민감한 변화를 보인 것으로 확인되었다. 아울러 시험결과의 정확한 평가를 위해서는 시험전 충분한 기간동안 온도변화가 계측되어야 하며, 계측기 출력의 안정화가 계측성과의 신뢰도를 높이는 필수인자임이 확인되었다.

The number of test samples was calculated by setting the reliability growth management test period considering the weapon system development period. The optimal reliability growth management test design condition was 80% reliability, 60% confidence level, and 6 months of test period. At this time, it was analyzed that 4 test samples were required if 0 failure occurred, and 9 test samples were required if 1 failure occurred. Using the method of determining the number of samples presented in this paper, it can be used as a basis for acquiring a budget for the number of samples for reliability growth management when switching from the exploratory development stage to the system development stage.

Cherry tomato was packed with several plastic films, and investigated the quality characteristics such as gas composition, weight loss, microbial load, soluble solid content, total acidity during storage at 12$\^{C}$. Cast polypropylene(CPP), low density polyethylene(LDPE), polyolefin(MPD, PD961) and perforated polyolefin(PY85) were used as packaging film. Oxygen and carbon dioxide concentration inside packages generally showed a stabilized levels after 10 days, but those of CPP and PD961 changed throughout the storage. Weight loss of PY85 was 25.6 % after 20 days, while others maintained around 1.0%. Total microbial count showed a increase pattern similar to yeast and mold, and CPP maintained the highest microbial load after 10 days. MPD retarded the decay of cherry tomato to 5.3%, while others showed above 20% after 20 days.

In this paper, a software policy considering testing time and the number of errors corrected is presented. The software is tested until a specified testing time or the time to a specified number of errors are corrected, whichever comes first. The model includes the cost of error correction and software testing during the testing time, and the cost of error correction during operation. It is assumed that the length of software life cycle has no bounds, and the error correction follows an non-homogeneous Poisson process. An expression for the total cost under the policy is derived. It is shown that the model includes the previous models as special cases.

This study qualitatively examined the lives of non-tenured, secondary school teachers who are preparing for the teachers' exam. Semi-structured, face-to-face interviews were conducted with ten teachers and the data were analyzed using the consensual qualitative research method. Most of the participants had chosen a contract-based teaching position, believing that it would meet their financial needs, provide them with the satisfaction of being a teacher and, more importantly, afford practical help with their exam preparation. In practice, however, they suffered from low self-esteem and identity confusion due to discrimination by the school administrators. Ironically, this unfair treatment strengthened the participants' commitment to studying for the exam, in order to acquire a stable and secure position in school. However, they experienced a lot of study-related stress, including a lack of study hours, heavy study load, multiple life roles, physical exhaustion, the difficulties caused by the vague exam guide, and anxiety due to previous failure in the exam. Based on the findings of this study, directions for future research are suggested.

This paper introduces analysis technique and test procedure for verifying the reliability of the multi-function radar software. Also the process of software development and reliability test method for reducing the development period are described. Test results show that the verified software has reduced errors and improved reliability compared to the unverified software.
