플라즈마 공정 중에 발생하는 플라즈마 누설은 챔버 압력의 변화를 초래하여 증착 또는 식각 중인 박막패턴을 손상시킨다. 따라서 플라즈마 누설을 실시간으로 탐지하는 것이 요구되며, 본 연구에서는 광방사분광기 (Optical emisison spectroscopy), 신경망, 그리고 제어차트를 결합한 플라즈마 누설의 인-시츄 탐지기술을 보고한다. 비교평가 결과 소수의 라디칼 정보를 감시하는 것보다 신경망 모델로부터의 예측정보를 이용할 때 보다 증진된 누설탐지 성능을 확인하였다.

This study was performed to determine a comprehensive anatomic variation and deviation of the nasal septum in clinically normal dogs by use of computed tomography (CT). The nasal septum was evaluated in 36 shihtzu dogs and 16 beagle dogs. A degree of a septal deviation was evaluated by measuring a maximum angle and a distance of the septal deviation. The angle and distance of the septal deviation were significantly higher in shih-tzu dogs than in beagle dogs. There was no significant relationship between body weight and age and all measurements (angle and distance) in both breed dogs. Results of this study suggest that nasal septum deviation and its defect are observed on CT images of clinically normal dogs, especially in shih-tzu dogs.

A 9-year-old intact female Shih-Tzu was presented with abdominal pain and abdominal distension. Since the animal's birth, the owner had never observed proestrous bleeding in the patient. Ultrasonography revealed segmental enlargement of the genital system. An ovariohysterovaginectomy was performed to remove the genital mass. The vagina was grossly dilated as a result of being filled with a solid black-green substance. A vaginogram was performed. Based on the surgical findings and vaginogram results, an imperforate hymen was diagnosed. One month from the first surgery, a stump pyocolpos developed between the sutured site and the obstructed portion. The persistent hymen was removed by endoscopy. However, peritonitis and sepsis developed after the procedure, and the dog died. Therefore, During operation of persistent hymen, a cruciate incision over the hymen strongly recommended to avoid additional post operative complications.

본 논문은 환경의 변화에 적응하여 지속적으로 서비스들의 협업을 지원하기 위한 통합 시스템으로 커뮤니티 관리 시스템을 제안한다. 이를 위해 커뮤니티라는 메타포를 사용하여 추상화된 레벨로 협업 모델을 정의하고 이를 런타임에 해석하여 물리적 환경의 실질적인 서비스들간의 실행 모델로 전환한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 시스템은 서비스들의 협업과 사용자의 인터랙션을 관리하는 커뮤니티 매니저(CM)와 서비스들의 협업모델을 실행 환경으로 매핑시키는 커뮤니티 프레임워크(CF) 그리고 CM 과 CF 에게 통합된 컨텍스트를 제공해 주는 시츄에이션 매니저(SM)로 구성되어 있다. 이 시스템에서 추상화된 협업 모델은 런타임에 물리적 공간으로 매핑되므로, 동적으로 실행 환경과 사용자의 특성을 인식하고 그에 맞는 협업 목표와 협업 대상을 변경시켜 실행 환경에 맞게 재구성 되는 것이 가능하다. 따라서 제안된 시스템을 통해 특정 환경에 고유하게 구축되던 시스템의 개발 비용에 대한 부담을 절감시키는 효과를 가져올 것으로 기대된다.

A 3-year-old, spayed female Shih-tzu dog was presented due to acute vomiting, diarrhea, and generalized weakness. The dog had generalized weakness, increased respiratory rate, and respiratory muscle effect. Neurologic examination revealed appendicular muscular weakness and decreased in tone of the anal sphincter. Megaesophagus was confirmed by radiographic examinations. Other than type 2 fiber atrophy, no specific abnormalities were identified in histopathologic examinations of muscle biopsies from the left pelvic limb. Serum acetylcholine receptor (AChR) antibody titer was increased (0.78 nmol/L reference range, less than 0.6 nmol/L), confirming a diagnosis of acute fulminating myasthenia gravis. The dog dramatically responded to pyridostigmine bromide and had marked improvement in muscle strength, megaesophagus, and respiratory function. The dog has been successfully managed for 7 months after initial treatment.

A 6-year-old castrated male Shih-Tzu was admitted to the Gyeongsang Animal Medical Center with hematuria and vomiting. Serum chemistry indicated increases in blood urea nitrogen and creatinine values. Radiography showed radiopaque materials attached to the ventralis of the inner bladder wall. Penile urethra also was filled with radiopaque materials. Ultrasonography revealed bilateral perineal effusion in the kidney, thinned bladder wall, and materials with acoustic shadowing at the caudal extremity of the os penis. Because urination was not identified by urinary obstruction, cystocentesis was performed. Hematuria was diagnosed by urinalysis, but clear crystals were not identified. Owing to failure of securing patency to the bladder using retrohydropropulsion, cystotomy and urethrotomy with retrohydropropulsion were performed. In this report, we describe the clinical and radiographic findings of urethral plugs in a male Shih-Tzu dog, wherein the urethral plugs were treated successfully with hydropropulsion, cystotomy, and urethrotomy. It provides an option for the treatment of urethral plugs in a dog.

This study content analyzed the comedic events that include mothers to explore a typology of humor and representation of women in family sitcoms over the last decades. The study found that slapstick has been the most prevalent humor type over time. The study also found that romantic and sexual topics were common themes in family situation comedies over the last decades. The study confirmed an increasing pattern for foolishness in terms of the portrayals of sitcom mothers. The result also substantiated the tendentious nature of humor involved in sitcom mothers. Based on the findings, limitations and further research are discussed.

A 4-year-old intact male Shih Tzu dog (weighing 5 kg), was presented with signs of severe dyspnea, exercise intolerance and cyanosis. Diagnostic studies suggested a reverse patent ductus arteriosus (rPDA) with pneumonia. Despite emergency treatments with oxygen, diuretics, antibiotics and medical therapy for hyperkalemia, the dog died of ventricular fibrillation from hyperkalemia and dehydration. Necropsy revealed the rPDA with a marked descending aortic dilation and abnormally arisen left common carotid artery.

A 7-year-old Shih Tzu cross dog was presented for severe abdominal pain, persistent vomiting and anorexia. Laboratory tests revealed mild anemia and hypoproteinemia. Abdominal survey radiography revealed marked gastric distension and large circular foreign body in the gastric pylorus. The foreign body was removed using a videoendoscope, fishing line and retrieval forceps. The dog's clinical signs resolved following foreign body removal.

A 7 year-old intact female black spotted and white hair Shih-tzu dog visited for screening of vital condition and was suspected multifocal alopecia on physical examination. On dermatologic examination, alopecia with patches on black spot area, generalized seborrhea sicca, and bacterial infection were detected. Additionally, melanin clumping in the hair shafts on the alopecic area was detected by microscopic examination. Based on the signalment and dermatologic examination, black hair follicular dysplasia was diagnosed. To our best knowledge, this the first case report of black hair follicular dysplasia in Shih-tzu.
