Fail-over Mechanisms based on Anycast for Stable IPv6 Recursive DNS Services (안정적인 IPv6 리커시브 DNS 서비스를 위한 애니캐스트 기반의 실패 복구 방안 연구)

  • Recursive DNS is configured as primary or secondary DNS on user PC and performs domain name resolution corresponding user's DNS query. At present, the amount of DNS traffic is occupied high rate in the total internet traffic and the internet traffic would be increased by failure of IPv6 DNS queries and responses as IPv6 transition environment. Also, existing Recursive DNS service mechanisms is unstable on malicious user's attack same as DoS/DDoS Attack and isn't provide to user trust DNS service fail-over. In this paper, we propose IPv6 Recursive DNS service mechanisms for based on anycast for improving stability. It is that fail-over Recursive DNS is configured IPv6 Anycast address for primary Recursive DNS's foil-over. this mechanisms increases reliability and resiliency to DoS/DDoS attacks and reduces query latency and helps minimize DNS traffic as inducing IPv6 address.

Design and Fabrication of Compressive Receiver for RFID Signal Detection (RFID 신호 탐지용 컴프레시브 수신기의 설계 및 제작)

  • In this paper, the theoretical background and the specific implementation method of a compressive receiver for RFID signal detection as well as the design method of DDL(Dispersive Delay Line) and chirp LO are described. DDL, which is one of the main components of the compressive receiver, is designed to have $13{\mu}s$ dispersive delay time and 6 MHz bandwidth using the SAW technique based on $LiNbO_3$ material. The chirp LO is designed using DDS(Direct Digital Synthesizer). Also the compressive receiver is fabricated to be installed into the RFID reader. Test results show the maximum frequency error of 25 kHz for single signal input, the receiver sensitivity of -44 dBm, and the maximum frequency error is 75 kHz for 6 multi-tone input signals. These results indicate that the fabricated compressive receiver is working well even in dense RFID operating environments.

Implementation of Compressive Receiver with Chirp LO Based on DDS for RFID Signal Detection (DDS 기반의 Chirp LO가 적용된 RFID 신호 탐지용 컴프레시브 수신기의 구현)

  • In this paper, we propose DDS(Direct Digital Synthesizer) as a new implementation method of chirp LO(Local Oscillator) for compressive receiver applied for RFID signal detection in UHF band. We designed a receiver whose input frequency range is 908.5~914 MHz, DDL(Dispersive Delay Line) bandwidth is 6 MHz, and dispersion delay time is $13\;{\mu}s$. Chirp LO based on DDS is designed to meet $26\;{\mu}s$ sweep time and 12 MHz bandwidth for complete compressive mechanism. The measured 3 dB pulse width of the compressed signal of the fabricated receiver is 260 ns and the frequency resolution for simultaneous input signals is below 200 kHz. These performances indicate that the proposed chirp LO based on DDS and the compressive receiver is suitable for RFID signal detection in UHF band.

Analysis of Channel Collision Avoidance Performance of RFID Reader with Compressive Receiver (컴프레시브 수신기가 내장된 RFID 리더의 채널 충돌 회피 성능 분석)

  • In this paper, the interference avoidance performance of the RFID reader with the compressive receiver was analyzed. In the environment of the multiple dense readers operating, the recognition rates of the conventional RFID reader and the proposed RFID reader with the compressive receiver were measured and compared. The recognition rate of the proposed reader was improved more than 2.7 times compared to the conventional reader. Especially, in the environment of two proposed RFID readers operating simultaneously, little degradation of the recognition rate was observed.

  • In this paper, the performance of DS/SS DPSK communications is analysed over fading dispersive channels considering the spreads of the channel in time and in frequency. The two spreads mentioned above are represented with multipath spread and Doppler spread, respectively. The bit error probabilities of DS/SS DPSK systems are derived in terms of channel and system parameters, and an approximation method is presented for computational efficiency. And the numerical results are given for various chip numbers in Rayleigh and Rician fading channels using the approximation method.

  • In this contribution, the achievable performance of orthogonal multicarrier DS-CDMA systems employing synchronous uplink transmissions is investigated. The bit error ratio (BER) performance is analyzed under dispersive Rayleigh multipath fading conditions as a function of the number of users.

  • In this paper, a model of material removal in abrasive water jet machining of brittle material is developed, and experimentally evaluated. Abrasive water jet machining proved to yield better material removal rate than other machining techniques for hard and brittle material (alumina ceramics). It was also found that large scale fracture may develop at the exit of the jet from the material. The fracture size was predicted as a function of water jet pressure and size of the hole. Finally, the feasibility of using acoustic emission signals for in-process monitoring of the abrasive water jet machining process is investigated.

  • 본 논문은 Stanford의 다 단계 시브(Multi-pass Sieve) 상호참조해결을 기반으로, 한국어에 적용한 한국어 상호참조해결(선행 연구)을 이용하여 한정 명사구에 대한 처리와 확장된 대명사 상호참조해결 방법을 제안한다. 지시 관형사와 명사가 결합하여 형성되는 한정 명사구는 일반 멘션(mention)의 특징과 대명사 속성을 한 번에 갖게 된다. 이렇게 되면, 한정 명사구는 모든 시브(sieve)에서 상호참조를 진행할 수 있게 된다. 따라서 이런 특징으로 한정 명사구를 어떤 관점(멘션 또는 대명사)에서 상호참조해결하는 것이 좋은지 보인다. 또한 이런 한정 명사구의 대명사 속성을 이용하기 위해 문법적 의미적 규칙을 적용할 것을 제안한다. 그 결과, 본 논문의 선행 연구인 한국어 상호참조해결에 비하여 CoNLL 값이 약 0.8%만큼 향상되어 61.45%를 측정하였다.

  • The sliding wear characteristics of the crane sheave were investigated using a pin on disk rig tester. The experiment was conducted using a high carbon steel wire that was upper material, also carbon steel castings that was disk material. There are various operating conditions in this work. At the room temperature, we carried out the wear test under a grease lubrication and dry condition. The results of wear test showed that an annealed-casted have lower, also the wear curves are linearly increased with increasing of sliding distance. For the specific wear rate of annealed-casted, the wear resistance was increased with decreasing diameter of wire. The wear of a wire and a disk have a different mechanism, the one is the abrasive wear due to fatigue wear under lubrication, another is the adhesion wear under dry condition.
