수위자료는 유량을 판단하기 위한 기초적인 수문자료이다. 하지만 관측자료는 항상 오류 가능성이 있으므로 이에 대해 지속적인 품질관리가 요구된다. 일반적으로 수위자료는 단일 지점에서 시간에 따라 수집되므로 시간에 따른 변화 등을 이용하여 수위자료의 오류 여부를 판단한다. 하지만 실제 수위자료는 상류와 하류가 공간적으로 연결되어 있으므로 상 하류의 관계를 비교함으로써 수위자료의 오류 여부를 판단하는 것도 가능할 것이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 하천의 수위자료를 해발수위 자료로 변환하여 하구로부터의 거리를 이용해 도시함으로써 수위 프로파일을 시각화하고 그 변화를 고찰함으로써 수위자료의 시공간적인 변화를 이용해 수위 오류를 찾을 수 있는 시각화 기법을 개발하였다. 그림 1에서 보는 것과 같이 각 관측소 수위의 정상 경사와 역 경사를 시간별로 구분하고 이를 연속적으로 추적함으로써 수위자료의 오류와 수위관측소 제원 정보의 오류 등을 찾는데 도움을 줄 수 있으며, 수위자료에 대한 향상된 품질관리를 가능하게 할 것이다.

지하시설물은 상수, 전력, 가스를 공급하고, 하수를 처리하는 동시에 정보통신망을 구축하는 중요한 도시기반시설이기 때문에 지하시설물에 관한 정보가 상당히 중요하게 대두되고 있다. 기존의 도시시설물들은 지상에 설치되어 왔으나 도시의 집중화에 따른 건설안전, 도시 미관, 유지 관리의 용이성을 위하여 시설물을 지하에 매설하는 경향이 높아짐에 따라 이러한 지하시설물의 효과적인 유지관리가 필요하게 되었다. 본 연구에서는 지하시설물 중 상 하수도 정보의 3차원 영상 가시화 기능을 개발하여 도시 지하시설물의 체계적인 관리 기술 및 안전성 확보하고자 하였다. 연구 대상으로 한 3차원 영상 가시화 항목은 현행 도시 관리 체계에서 다루고 있는 지리적 범위내의 지하시설물 중 상 하수도 시설물이다. 도시 지하시설물의 3차원 시각화를 위하여 지하시설물의 항목 별 분류를 수행하였으며 지하시설물의 3차원 시각화 적용 방안에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 또한 지하시설물 항목별 데이터 관리 방안을 수립하여 3차원 관리 대상 데이터를 제시하였으며 가시화 테스트를 통하여 3차원 영상 가시화 기능을 검증하였다. 본 연구에서 제시한 지하시설물의 3차원 시각화 기능은 도시 지하시설물 관리 기술의 혁신을 선도한 것으로 기대한다.

Interests in archives management are getting expanded from the public sector into the cultural and artistic field for the ten years after legislation of "Act on the Management of Public Archives" in 1999. However, due to lack of recognition on the importance of archives in the cultural and artistic field, it is rather frequent that information is kept scattered or archives are lost. As an example, absence of precise contract documents or notes of bestowal keeps people from locating great amount of cultural properties, and because of it these creative properties are in the risk of thefts, the closed-door auctioning, or trades in unofficial channels. As how a nation manages cultural and artistic creation inside the nation reflects its cultural level, it can be said that one of the indexes to notice the extent of a nation's cultural level is to take a look at how they are circulated. This study started from this point. Growing economy and rising interests in culture and art made the society more cognizant of the importance and value that visual artworks have, but the archives and information which are showing the context of these artworks and are produced in the course of social interaction are relatively disregarded because too much emphasis lies on the work itself. It is harder to find archives or documentations in Korea than in other advanced countries about the artists themselves or philosophical discourse on the background of the artworks. There is not so much interest to preserve the archives and information produced after the exhibition also, and they are used for no more than promotion or reference. Hereupon, the researcher recognized the importance of visual arts archives and believed that systemic management on them are high in need. And metadata is an essential way for the systemic management, as recently management on artworks or their archives are conducted using the system of the agencies even though they are not produced electronically. The objective of this study is to manage visual arts archives systematically by designing a data model reflecting traits of visual arts archives. Metadata are needed in the every course of archives from acquisition to management, preservation and application. Visual arts archives find its rich value only when a systemic relationship is established among information on artist, artwork and events including exhibition. By establishing a Multiple Entity Data Model, in which artworks, artists and events (exhibitions) make relationship all together, metadata for management on visual arts archive gets more efficiency and at the same time explanatory trait of the archive gets higher. For this reason we, in the study, tried to design a data model by setting each as an independent entities and designating relations between them, in order to find a way to manage visual arts archives more systematically.

The Internet of Things (IoT) is the interconnection of uniquely identifiable embedded computing devices within the existing Internet infrastructure. IoT is expected to offer advanced connectivity of devices, systems, and services that goes beyond machine-to-machine communications and covers a variety of protocols, domains, and applications. Time information is a critical piece in the IoT to support its requirements. This paper reviews conventional time keeping mechanisms in the Internet and presents issues to be considered for combining time and data in the IoT.

As the amount of digital collections has been increasing, a new approach is needed to improve access to records. Interactive visualization allows users to more easily browse and navigate across large collections. Cultural heritage institutions in the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia introduced interactive visualization techniques to diversify ways by which to access archival records. This study aims to propose a method for applying interactive visualization to archival collections. It began with an analysis of interactive visualization cases in overseas cultural heritage institutions. Based on the analysis, a visualization of the collections held by the National Archives of Korea using various interactive visualization techniques was suggested.

본 연구는 여러 위치에서 이동 중인 다양한 유형의 단말기에 대해 보안을 관리하는 통합 시스템을 개발하는 것이다. 이 기술은 모바일 단말 인증, 모바일 단말 신뢰, 개인 프라이버시 보호, 3차원 시각화 기술에 의한 모바일 단말 보안 관리 기술이다. 인증과 신뢰 기술은 다른 도메인에 접근하더라도 신뢰할 수 있는지를 검사한다. 개인 프라이버시 보호 기술은 접근 기록을 사용자가 관리하는 기술이다. 3차원 시각화 기술은 단말의 이동과 접근을 3차원으로 모니터링 한다. 이러한 모바일 단말 보안 관리 기술은 여러 기술을 파생하거나 파급할 수 있는 중요한 기술이다.

This study investigated the needs assessment of health education for adults with lately visual impairments. Focus group interview was conducted two times with 10 participants(4~6 participants/each). Most subjects addressed to have interest in social support group; health promotion behavior including exercise and having a positive mind; taking the medicine/supplements. Preferred contents of health education for adults with lately visual impairments were overcoming the depression, various exercise, maintaining of the healthy vascular, overcoming the insomnia, joint health, and diet which was different according to subject's health status. Also, care giver education was needed to help the subject to be independent on the activity daily living. These findings will be used to develop the design of health education programs for adults with visual impairments.

Time information and time synchronization are fundamental building blocks in wireless sensor networks since many sensor network applications need time information for object tracking, consistent state updates, duplicate detection and temporal order delivery. Various time synchronization protocols have been proposed for sensor networks because of the characteristics of sensor networks which have limited computing power and resources. However, none of these protocols have been designed with time representation scheme in mind. Global time format such as UTC TOD (Universal Time Coordinated, Time Of Day) is very useful in sensor network applications. In this paper we propose time keeping and synchronization method for global time presentation in wireless sensor networks.

This study aims to present a Braille Library document creation and management status, and to identify ways to improve. This research field surveys and interviews were conducted three institutions, the quality requirements of the ISO 15489 standards. As a result, the Braille Library document management improvement plan is as follows. First, the policy and regulatory maintenance is needed. Copy of the regulations on the creation and management, access rights and related document management policies should be developed. Second, the document creation process needs to be improved. Electronic approval system responsible for the creation of persons who are visually impaired, visually impaired people can read documents created during document creation, and introduced measures and braille labels on the files attached to will have to be prepared. Third, the document management process needs to be improved. Changes in the creation copy of the records, and preserved along with the preservation of the original and the copy to have the same period, appointed to manage one set of all copies of the authentic copy of the plan is also required. Finally, for document management system should be introduced. Systematic document management system that can be introduced is required. This system will be designed to be accessible to the visually impaired, the search.
