이 연구는 정보 간의 관계에서 도출되는 특징을 적합하게 보여줄 수 있는 시각화를 위한 선행연구이다. 정보의 관계에 주목하는 이유는 관계 구조를 통해 정보의 성격과 특징을 파악할 수 있기 때문이다. 정보의 관계는 사회연결망 분석을 통해서 파악할 수 있다. 정보를 구성하는 개체와 개체 사이의 관계는 다양한 요소를 지니고 있으며, 연결망의 관계 분석 지표를 통해 관계의 성격과 특징을 도출해 낼 수 있다. 이 연구에서는 사회연결망에서 관계의 성격을 도출하는데 중요한 지표로 다뤄지는 영향력을 연구범위로 설정하고, 연결망 내의 관계의 요인과 영향력의 지표를 분류하고 연결한다. 이를 통해 사회연결망에서 영향력을 나타내는 관계의 요소를 중심으로 관계의 시각화 과정에 있어 적합한 시각화 프로세스를 온톨로지 개념을 사용하는 시멘틱 그래프에 적용해 보았다. 영향력의 각 관계 요소는 공통적인 개념과 성격, 측정 요소를 통하여 노드와 링크의 네트워크 형태의 그래프로 형성되었다. 영향력 시멘틱 그래프는 사회연결망의 영향력 요소를 이해하고, 분석하는데 유용하게 사용될 수 있음을 확인할 수 있다. 또한 시멘틱 그래프의 적용 범위를 연결망 시각화 전반을 확장하여, 합리적이고 효율적인 시각화 프로세스의 설정이 가능함을 알 수 있다.

3D 산업은 그 실용적인 활용가치로 인해 주목받고 있다. 안정적인 3D 시청환경을 구축하기 위해서는 구현기술의 발전이 중요한 과제이지만, 현재의 기술 수준이 제한적이기 때문에 사용자가 시청환경에 대해 주관적으로 느끼는 부분을 다루는'휴먼팩터 (Human-factor)'를 연구하는 것 또한 중요하다. 그 중 시각피로는 안정적인 3D시청환경 구축과 직결되는 중요한 문제이며, 이러한 시각피로의 주요원인은 수렴-조절 불일치 현상이다. 본 연구는 수렴-조절 불일치에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것이 화면시차 자체가 아니라 수렴각에 영향을 미치는 응시대상의 화면시차라고 가정하였다. 따라서 응시대상의 화면시차가 3D상황에서 수렴조절 불일치를 유발하는지를 규명하기 위하여 시청자들을 대상으로 응시대상의 화면시차를 조작하면서 그것이 시각피로에 영향을 주는지를 측정하였다. 결과는 예상대로 다른 대상들보다 응시대상의 시차가 시각피로에 주요한 영향력을 준다는 것을 함축하고 있으며, 그 외에 비-응시대상과 관련된 이슈들이 논의되었다. 결론적으로, 응시대상의 시차를 적절하게 통제함으로써 사용자의 시각피로를 최소화 할 수 있으며, 이는 시각 3D 환경을 구축하는 데에 도움이 될 것이다.

There has been a recurring call for using visual representations in textbooks to improve the teaching and learning of proportional reasoning. However, the quantity as well as quality of visual representations used in textbooks is still very limited. In this article, we analyzed visual representations presented in a Grade 6 textbook from two perspectives of proportional reasoning, multiple-batches perspective and variable-parts perspective, and discussed the potential of the double number line and the double tape diagram to help develop the idea 'things covary while something stays the same', which is critical to reason proportionally. We also classified situations that require proportional reasoning into five categories and provided ways of using the double number line and the double tape diagram for each category.

전파방정식과 그 증명을 이해한 후, 이것의 응용법을 알기 전에 전기공학도는 송전선에 따른 전압, 전류의 변동현상에 친숙해야 하는데, 이를 위해서는 그래프법이 있으면 매우 좋다. 왜냐하면 그래프법에의해 송전선의 동작을 통일적, 시각적으로 통찰할 수 있기 때문이다. 이러한 방법의 하나가 1943년에 출판된 고 F.Esclangon교수의 한 논문에 제시되었다. 불행하게도 이 논문은 주목을 받지 못했는데, 여기에는 두가지 이유가 있을 수 있다. 첫째, 이 논문이 2차대전중에 발행되어서 여러 사람의 손에 들어가지 않았고, 둘째 저자가 자기의 방법의 중요한 이점을 분명히 나타내지 못했다. 본 고는 그래프법을 알려줌으로서 송전선에 대한 흥미를 일깨워주고자 한다.

They are used as a symbol representing some meaning of an object. Geometric patterns in the formative arts have been recasted by artists and used to express modern images. Simple shapes of geometric patterns create beauty with their outward appearance and decorated patterns. The simpleness of decorated patterns go with restrained, rational, and modern concepts. The patterns decorated with geometric patterns use geometric figures such as octagon, triangle, quadrangle, etc. and they give satisfaction to modern people. They are also regular and simple, so they can create impactive visual effects and three-dimensional space can be created with these dynamic patterns. Therefore, attractiveness of shape which gives enjoyment is also found in tableware design using geometric patterns. Using geometric patterns in tableware design is not based on a chance factor, so it is possible to objectify and reproduce the patterns. These repetitive designs can influence a lot of designers working on tableware and help improve the tableware designs. It is also considered that those designs are able to create new opportunities to produce a high value product in the ceramics industry.

It may be replacement proofs with understanding and explaining geometrical properties that was a remarkable change in school geometry of 2009 revised national curriculum for mathematics. That comes from the difficulties which students have experienced in learning proofs. This study focuses on one of those difficulties which are caused by the forms of proofs: using letters for designating some sides or angles in writing proofs and understanding some long sentences of proofs. To overcome it, this study aims to investigate the applicability of Byrne's method which uses coloured diagrams instead of letters. For this purpose, the proofs of three geometrical properties were taught to middle school students by Byrne's visual method using the original source, dynamic representations, and the teacher's manual drawing, respectively. Consequently, the applicability of Byrne's method was discussed based on its strengths and its weaknesses by analysing the results of students' worksheets and interviews and their teacher's interview. This analysis shows that Byrne's method may be helpful for students' understanding of given geometrical proofs rather than writing proofs.

유비쿼터스 환경에서 대표적인 장치들 가운데 하나로서 이동장치를 고려할 수 있다. 요즈음 전반적인 이동장치의 흐름은 스마트폰에 주목하고 있으며, 이를 이용한 증강현실 등 객체들에 대한 지리적인 위치 및 현실적용 사례가 증가하고 있으며, 이들에 대한 데이터 처리가 매우 중요해지고 있다. 이와 같이 사용자에게 제공하는 모바일 응용 서비스들은 이동 객체에 기반한 다양한 서비스에 대한 기술이 요구되어지며, 또한 이들 기술을 활용하여 데이터를 시각적으로 인덱싱하여 신속하게 데이터가 처리되는 것을 시각적으로 표현하는 기술도 요구되어지고 있다. 그러나 이와 같이 사용자의 작업 이해를 높이기 위한 시각화 작업이 부족한 것이 사실이다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 하위 트리를 갖는 R 트리 인덱스를 활용하여 객체 생성을 수행하며, 생성된 객체들을 기반으로 3차원 도형으로 표현한 구현 결과를 보인다. 또한, 생성되는 시점에서 객체에 붙여진 이름은 마우스를 이용한 위치점과 인접하였을 때 이름을 표시할 수 있도록 시각화한 결과에 대해 살펴본다.
