경기도 여주에서 28년간 양돈업을 하며 고품질의 돼지를 생산하고 있는 길목농장의 남상현 대표. 그에게 2017년은 아주 특별한 해가 되었다. 지난 11월 29일 제15회 축산물품질평가대상 시상식에서 영예의 한돈부문 대통령상인 대상을 수상하였다. 남 대표를 만나 그만의 특별한 축산운영에 대한 이야기를 들어보자. 어려서부터 부유하지 않은 농부의 아들로 자라 막연하게 부모님 가업을 승계 받아 농업으로 농사일을 시작하였다는 그는 우연찮게 지인으로부터 축산이 미래가 있다는 조언으로 축산의 길을 선택하게 되었다. 처음에는 한우와 양계로 시작했는데 남 대표에게는 별 매력이 없어 이후 한돈으로 전환하여 우여곡절 끝에 대통령상까지 수상하는 영예를 얻은 것이다.

본 고에서는 5G 시대를 대비한 네트워크의 기술전개 방향성에 대하여 알아본다. 현재의 4G이동통신 네트워크는 이동통신 네트워크를 통하여 데이터서비스가 시작되었던 GPRS(General Packet Radio System) 기술을 승계하고 있으나, GPRS구조는 향후 도래할 5G에 대응하기에는 다양한 문제점을 가지고 있다. 또한, 기존의 이동 통신 네트워크는 무선기술 세대별로 별도의 네트워크를 구축해야 하는 문제점을 가지고 있다. 본 고에서는 기존 이동통신 네트워크의 다양한 문제점을 제시하고 이의 해결을 위한 기술전개 방향성을 제시하고자 한다.

분야를 막론하고 모든 산업 발전의 원동력은 바로 사람이다. 젊고 유능한 인재를 충분하게 확보하고 있을 때 해당산업의 미래가 밝다고 말할 수 있을 것이다. 최근 농축산업계는 젊은이들을 농촌으로 불러오기 위해 분주하다. 지자체마다 농업을 이끌어갈 의지가 있는 신규 인력을 위한 지원사업이 활발하게 추진되고 있지만 각종 지원에도 후계농업인을 확보하는 게 쉽지 않다. 노동 강도가 높고 선진기술을 끊임없이 익혀야 하는 낙농산업의 경우는 더욱 그렇다. 우여곡절 끝에 대물림을 받기로 했다가도 예상보다 훨씬 강도 높은 일장에 지쳐 목장을 이탈하는 경우도 생긴다. 본지는 창간 35주년을 맞아 선후배 낙농인을 초청해 청년들이 가업승계를 꺼리는 이유와 후계낙농인들의 어려움, 선대낙농인이 생각하는 후계자들의 문제점은 무엇인지 허심탄회하게 얘기하는 자리를 마련했다. 열띤 대화가 오간 낙농대담 현장을 전한다.

건설교통부가 지난 2월 22일 건설업 관리지침을 일부 개정하였습다. 이번 개정은 국가기술자격법 개정에 따라 자격종목 폐지 및 명칭변경으로 인하여 종전 기술자격취득자의 불이익 방지(통폐합된 직종에 대하여는 통합되기 전 국가기술자격자도 인정) 및 폐업신고 후 재등록 시 지위승계되는 점을 악용하여 건설업자의 주기적 신고의무 회피를 방지하는 등 운용상의 문제점을 보완한 것입니다. 이에 본지는 건설업 관리지침의 신∙구조문 대비표와 전문을 게재하오니 회원사 여러분의 많은 활용을 바랍니다.

지난 5월 26일 충북대학교 개신문화관에서 "2016 한국가금학회 춘계 심포지엄"이 개최됐다. 이날은 한국가금학회 모인필 회장 및 본회 오세을 회장을 비롯해 학계, 생산농가, 관련업계, 대학생 등 100여명이 참석한 가운데 "가금산업의 가업으로서의 미래"에 대한 주제발표로 진행되었다. 제1부는 가금산업에서의 가업승계의 현주소, 제2부 미래 가금산업의 비전, 제3부 가금산업 후계자 양성방안에 대해 다뤄진 내용을 정리했다.

An invention produced through research by a professor at a university is an employee invention, and the industrial academy cooperation foundation of the university has the right to obtain a patent. The professor, in return, obtains the right to receive reasonable compensation for that invention. Research was carried out mostly by the cooperation and participation of students rather than the solitary performance of the professor. The contributory portion of the student to an invention can be treated as an employee invention, but occasionally it is considered a free invention. Therefore, the unilateral succession to the right to obtain a patent to the industrial academy cooperation foundation highlights the potential disputes between the university and students in the future. Therefore, in this study, the intellectual properties management codes of 80 universities were reviewed and analyzed for any possible problems and the appropriate directions to the codes' amendments are suggested.

In Korea, middle and small-sized company takes up an absolute majority of all businesses, and most of them are founded as a limited company. Yet, it is a type of business that fits a company of certain size, and its establishment process is complicated due to various reasons such as investor protection. It is also required to have strict organization structure based on the principle of separation of ownership and management. Accordingly, as the principles may undermine entrepreneur's will to start business, there has been dramatic change in legal system on business establishment and management since 2010. The changes include streamlined process at the foundation stage and digitalization of many regulations on business establishment and operation for more convenience in starting business. Also, new business types for small-sized companies were adopted, and freedom to select business name has been enhanced. The issue of non-par value stock has been allowed, and various types of stock have been adopted for more convenient financing, defense against hostile M&A, and easier business succession.

This study analysed the narrative strategies in TV drama utilized in order to support the recent feminism movements. The analysis revealed that this TV drama breaks away from the clichéd patriarchal drama series. It portrays the main characters are not the sons but the two daughters-in-law, and represents the women challenging the order of the patriarchy, and resolving the issues. In this drama, men's power was removed and female agents were held up to ridicule. In addition, it eradicates the traditional female conflict structures and creates a strong bond between the females. With this storyline, TV series concludes with two achievements. One, the stepmother and the mother co-parent the child instead of the father, suggests that a non-blood related matriarchal family is possible. Two, the heir to the chaebol family, which is traditionally a patrilineal structure, is not the oldest son or the immoral son, but the lesbian daughter-in-law, overturning the idea of heteronormativity that is dominant in the patriarchal system.

CEOs who have started and managed small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) have a lot of concerns about the sustainability of their businesses in the fierce management field and sometimes have the intention to discontinue their businesses. In this study, the perception of the business environment of SMEs (intensity of competition, difficulty in manpower management), the competency of the corporate (employee competency, product or service competitiveness, digital or technical capability), the competency of the CEO's (management competency and health status of CEO), and the perception of business succession on the CEO's intention to discontinue business were empirically studied with SME CEOs. This study conducted a survey of SME CEOs in various industries from March 20 to April 15, 2022, and verified the research hypothesis using SPSS 24.0 with 296 samples obtained. As a result of the study, the intensity of competition, the difficulty in manpower management, and the perception of business succession had a positive (+) effect on the intention to discontinue the business. On the other hand, the employee competency, the product or service competitiveness, the corporate digital or technical competency, and the CEO's health status had a negative (-) effect on the intention to discontinue business. Meanwhile, it was observed that government regulations also have a moderating effect on the intensity of competition, the difficulty in manpower management, the business succession perception of CEO, and the intention to discontinue business. This study has academic significance in that the concept of 'discontinuing business', which was fragmentarily scattered according to various preceding studies, was systematized based on the level of ownership change and voluntariness. And that it empirically analyzed factors related to the intention to discontinue business targeting SME CEOs. In addition, that it observed for the baby-boomer CEOs in Korea the factors influencing the intention to discontinue business and that it was confirmed that considering their age, organizing the business stable and handing it over to the successor was another positive concept of business discontinuation.
