  • The purpose of this study is to empirically analyze the effects of middle school students' participation in after-school sports on psychological well-being. A survey was conducted on 280 students in 7th, 8th, and 9th grades attending two middle schools in Gongju-si, Chungnam, for one month from September 8 to October 17, 2019. The scale developed by Ryff (1995) was used to measure psychological stability. Subfactors including self-acceptance (6 questions), positive interpersonal relationships (5 questions), autonomy (6 questions), environmental control (5 questions), purpose of life (5 questions), and personal growth (5 questions) comprised a total of 32 questions measured on the Likert 5-point scale. The internal fit score (Cronbach's alpha) was .76-.83, with 146 students (52.1%) participating in after-school sports activities. The effect was high in the participant group. All variables, including the six subfactors, were verified statistically. These findings are consistent with the studies of Kang Myung-hwa (2011) and Kim Pan-su (2012), which reported that the sports activities of middle school students directly affect the development of emotions. This study verified the need to strengthen after-school sports activities and to engage problem children. After-school sports activities should be reviewed in the context of social issues that are becoming increasingly serious.

And to provide basic data for the athletes and coaches in the sports field to improve understanding of the overtraining symptoms from the brain physiological point of view. We reviewed the domestic and international academic materials and research reports published in the last 20 years using electronic databases and examined the literature that is consistent with the purpose of this study among the retrieved documents. Based on the reviewed literature, we examined the cognitive information processing and emotional change of the athlete according to the training, and overtraining can accumulate the fatigue of the body, which can cause severe side effects in terms of cognitive ability and emotional ability of athletes as well as deterioration of performance. For this purpose, a survey was conducted on 500 professional baseball spectators, and the results of correlation analysis, stepwise regression analysis and hierarchical regression analysis using SPSS 21.0 based on 450 collected data are as follows. First, among the professional baseball spectators and the team's self-image, the realistic self-image factor had a significant effect on the club's loyalty. Second, it was confirmed that the congruence of realistic self-image moderated the effect of congruence of realistic self-image on club loyalty. This result shows that the formation of emotional bond has no influence on the congruence of ideal self-image and is related to the realistic self-image that the club is showing at present. Therefore, it is necessary to establish a marketing strategy that can highlight this effect by considering these points.

  • This study was conducted to investigate the effects of video - based movement therapy program on emotional variables (anxiety, depression, panic disorder) and EEG on panic disorder patients. The following conclusions were obtained. The results of the 12 - week video - based behavior therapy program showed that there were statistically significant differences (p <.05) in the anxiety scale of the exercise group. There were statistically significant differences (p <.05) between the left brain L-Beta region of the exercise group and the left brain H-Beta and the right brain L-Beta regions of the control group and no significant difference was found between the groups. The results of this study suggest that the performance of the video-based behavioral therapy program for panic disorder patients did not affect the emotional variables and EEG changes. However, in the case of emotional variables, It is considered that the longer the program execution period, the more result will be obtained. In addition, it is expected that more positive study results can be expected if the program is run after having had enough familiarity and adaptation time of the operation treatment program omitted in this study.

  • This study tends to grasp the physical activity on its influences and effect s to the mental health of middle school students and we tried to look for a specific plan that will help to improve middle school students' mental health. We analyzed 36,530 students in middle school using a basic data "9th (2013) health behavior of juvenile on the online". The study is analyzed by complex sample data analysis method. The degree of euphoria recognition showed the low feeling of happiness when students exercise directly below two times rather than three times a week in the Physical Education class at school. On the other hand, the possibility of stress perception degree and suicide attempt is lowered. If the number of sports team participating is below one team, euphoria would be lowered and the limit of stress perception is high. However, the participation of one or two teams make the possibility of suicide lessens rather than students taking part in more 4 teams. In order to help middle school students reduce their stress and improve their happiness, they need to participate in sports as a regular team and join intramural games more than three times a week. In this case of the lower grade, it is considered that it is necessary for them to combine the educational program for the emotional support to control their extreme behavior.
