A Study on Priority Evaluation of the Rope-type Platform Safety Door(RPSD) Installation by Multi-criteria Decision Analysis (다기준 분석에 의한 로프형 승강장 안전도어의 설치 우선순위 산정에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, a study on the commercialization of Rope type Platform Safe Door (RPSD) technology has commenced. The study focuses on RPSD, in which a rope screen ascends to allow safe passage from the platform to the transit vehicle in aboveground stations. Currently, a pilot installation has taken in place with Daegu Metro Line 2 in MoonYang station starting from March of 2013. However, there is a need to select an appropriate pilot installation's object for the improvement in the future RPSD. An appropriate designation would correspond with the needs of the railroad corporation and as a historic railway platform with safe facilities. This study tried to usa Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to determine the priority of the KTX stations to attain a list of appropriate designations for future RPSD installations by analyzing the followings: management of the facilities, operational risks, and intent of business projects. As a case study, it was applied to the evaluation of the KTX stations. For the application, it used relative measurement to calculate the weight of upper level structuring, and absolute measurement for low level structuring instead of pairwise comparisons.

  • 본 연구에서는 대피자의 최적 배연조건 확립을 위하여 CFD모델을 이용한 수치해석을 통해 지하철 승강장 내에서의 화재 시 다양한 배연조건에서의 화재 위험성을 검토하였다. 결과로 스크린도어를 설치한 경우가 설치하지 않은 경우보다 온도의 상승폭이 최대 $65.37%{\sim}74.97%$ 낮게 나타났다. 또한 급기나 압인 배기시 승강장에 난류가 발생함에 따라 온도 및 연기층이 교란되어 하락됨에 따라 탈출시 위험을 유발할 수 있는 것으로 판단되었다. 따라서 배연용량 및 승강장 공간 설정시 배연조건에 따른 화재 특성을 고려한 설계가 필요하다.

  • According to the development of the economy and to the improvement in life quality, it is increased for the desire for the comfortable circumstance in the underground subway station. And recently, an accident, fire, suicide and so on have been risen. An advanced countries have introduced PSD, and they satisfies with the effect of PSD. The optimum design standard to set up PSD have to satisfy the by train wind beyond the maximum static pressure. This paper includes the maximum static pressure what can be applied to the PSD installation design.

  • 수도권 뿐만 아니라 지방에서도 대중교통의 발달이 가속화되고 있다. 수도권 지하철의 경우 지하철 스크린도어가 생겼지만 그럼에도 불구하고 문 끼임 사고가 많이 발생하고 있는 상황이다. 그렇지만 국내 지하철 사업에서 문 끼임 사고 방지 예산에는 전혀 투자가 되지 않고 있다. 국민 보건의 측면에서 지하철 문 끼임 사고의 심각성과 인간이 지닌 잠재적 가치를 고려할 때 이에 대한 대책이 시급하다. 이에 본 시스템에서는 RF(Radio Frequency)을 기반으로 한 지하철 끼임 사고 방지 모델을 대안으로 제시하며, 국민 보건과 인간의 잠재성이라는 사회적 가치를 문제해결에 접목하였다.

  • PSD is automatically opened and closed when subway train arrive on the station. This system was designed to control electric automatic system. These doors will provide passenger safety, energy saving and a good environment in subway. The monitoring and control systems of PSD are configured so that they can be operated in automatic mode in connection with ATO through the composite control panel in the station control room. The objective of this paper is to obtain high reliability that is essential for monitoring and control systems of PSD. The power supply is based on protection circuit using DC power bridge from two UPS. Also, stable communication system consists of CAN communication line redundancy and RF cross protection algorithm. Monitoring state display results show the validity of the proposed high reliability monitoring and control systems of PSD.

  • This paper presents a case study of PSD(Platform Screen Door) system assurance based on EN50126 life-cycle stage. By applying this system assurance, the accidents related to urban light transit railway especially that caused casualties could be reduced tremendously. This case study contributes significantly to the reliability, availability, maintainability and safety of the PSD system. Request For Proposal (RFP) of a rail road operator in which required by RAMS is prepared in which to ensure all system assurance activity and safety assessment are compulsory. The step-by-step activities and related deliverables are used which include functional analysis, FMECA, hazard identification analysis, system hazard analysis, maintainability analysis, FRACAS, and finally verification and validation of the system.

  • A PSD system has a lot of characteristic for safety. Trust of performance test is very important. But PSD performance test has an effect on trust by proficiency of test staff because it is difficult to automate. In that specially the effort test, manual opening and shutting test and abrasion measurement, test staff is demanded for proficiency. Therefore the paper repeated measurement in same condition and studied proficient factor of examiner according to increased measurement counter. As a result, measurement uncertainty has improved.

  • After the incendiary fire accident at Daegu subway, discussion of PSD installation started to prevent accident from fall. safety accident and big accident. Following these paradigm, the purpose of the study is to analyze the present condition of current installation of PSD in our country and suggest an improvement scheme for the future PSD operation extension. Using the SWOT analysis and we analyze the inner and outer capability of PSD installation. We try to find a counter plan strategy for PSD installation improvement scheme through the analysis.

  • In this paper, modeling of brushless DC motor (BLDC) driving system for platform screen door control applied fuel cell power generation system has been proposed. At first the system configuration and operational principle of the developed fuel cell simulator has been investigated and the design of BLDC motor driving system is studied and the overall performance and dynamics of the proposed system could be effectively examined by simulation. PSIM simulation program is implemented to verify the performance and compatibility of the fuel cell power generation system and BLDC motor control system modeling.

  • The purpose of this study is to present a fundamental data to get the noise reduction method of subway station in Gwang-ju city. Subway noise level measurement and questionnaire on the satisfaction of sound condition were carried out. The results show that the noise level of the subway station and the noise reduction effect installed by screen door is over 10 dB(A).
