Uncertainty Evaluation of Fire Modeling Analysis Results (화재모델링의 불확실도 평가방안)

  • NFPA-805 불확실도 분석 요건에 따른 경수형 원전 스위치기어실 모터제어반의 화재시나리오에 대한 입력변수 불확실도 평가를 수행하였고 이를 통해 화재모델링의 불확실도 평가방안을 제시하였다. 화재모델링은 FDS5를, 불확실도분석은 MOSAIQUE를 사용하였고 Wilks 방법에 근거하여 93회의 latin hypercupe 샘플링을 수행하였다. 스위치기어실 케이블의 최소 평균손상시간은 212초로 예측되어 화재발생시 스위치기어실의 화재진압은 약 4분 이내에 이루어져야 하는 것으로 확인되었다.

Uncertainty Analysis of Fire Modeling Input Parameters for Motor Control Center in Switchgear Room of Nuclear Power Plants (원자력발전소 모터제어반 스위치기어실 화재 모델링 입력변수 불확실성 분석)

  • This paper presents the uncertainty analysis results of fire modeling input parameters for motor control center in switchgear room of nuclear power plants. FDS (Fire Dynamics simulator) 5.5 was used to simulate the fire scenario and Latin Hyper Cube Monte Carlo simulations were employed to generate random samples for FDS input parameters. The uncertainty analysis results of input parameters are compared with those of the model uncertainty analysis and sensitivity analysis approaches of NUREG-1934. The study results show that the input parameter uncertainty analysis approach may lead to more conservative results than the uncertainty analysis and sensitivity analysis methods of NUREG-1934.

  • 개폐기, 차단기와 같은 스위치기어들은 지중케이블이나 가공선로, 콘덴서 뱅크에 흐르는 진상 전류의 개폐를 많이 하게 된다. 이때 진상전류의 크기는 정격 차단전류나 부하전류보다 그 크기가 매우 작다. 그러나 스위치기어 측면에서는 전압을 고려하였을 때 가혹한 시험이며, 이는 차단 후 극간에 걸리는 과도한 회복전압에 기인한다. 본 논문에서는 국제규격에서 요구하는 진상전류 시험의 회로조건들을, 회복전압 측면에 바탕을 두고 고찰해 보았다.

  • In recent years, the companies of electric power equipment for MV, HV class trend to develop that the eco-friendly insulated(solid, eco-gas, air etc.) switchgear replace with existent SF6 gas insulated switchgear by environmental problems such as global warming and soon. This paper introduces the Solid Insulated Switchgear(SIS) which is the epoxy of eco-friendly insulation material. The characteristic of SIS to introduce in this paper is as following. 1) Eco-friendly. (SF6 gas free) 2) The structure of flexible system. (Expansion) 3) The optimum design. (The Analysis of electrical & mechanical) 4) An Interface treatment between epoxy and insert. (Molding technology) This paper described about some technology for development of SIS.

  • 본 논문에서는 원자력발전소의 스위치기어실 화재로 인한 케이블 손상시간과 케이블 온도를 평가하기 위해 화재모델링 입력모수 불확실성 분석을 수행하였다. 화재모델링은 FDS 5.5를 사용하였으며 입력모수 샘플링은 Wilks 식에 따라 93회를 수행하였다. 단순히 입력모수 평균 값을 사용한 화재모델링 분석결과는 화재모델링 불확실성 분석결과보다, 케이블 손상시간은 최대 1.6배 늦게, 케이블 온도는 최대 0.45배 낮게 평가될 수 있는 것으로 나타났다.

  • 본 논문에서는 KEPCO가 신안 팔금도에서 진행 중인 능동배전망 운영실증 관련 2MW급 태양광발전 출력 안정화, 비상발전기, 계통 역률제어 등이 가능한 1MW/1MWh급 ESS의 설계 및 적용 결과를 기술하였다. 1MW/1MWh급 ESS는 외부환경으로부터 시스템 보호를 위해 공조설비 및 소방설비를 포함한 컨테이너에 ESS 관리 및 제어를 위한 PMS, 전력변환을 위한 PCS, 에너지 저장을 위한 배터리 시스템 등을 구성하였다. 또한 배전선로에 ESS 시스템 연계를 위해 변압기, 스위치기어 등의 계통연계설비를 함께 구성하였다. MW급 대용량 전력 시험설비를 이용하여 1MW/1MWh급 ESS의 다양한 기능 및 성능을 검증 후 신안 팔금도 현장에 적용하였다.

  • A semi-automatic clutch was developed for drivers of vehicles with manual transmission. The clutch is operated by pressing a switch on the gear stick without stepping on a clutch pedal when the driver wants to shift gears. To automatic control a clutch, driving information is provided by sensors installed under the vehicle. On the other hand, sensors are prone to failure under severe driving conditions and a long time is needed to install or repair these sensors in the vehicle. In this paper, a semi-automatic clutch that received driving information by CAN communication from the ECU was developed and a pneumatic actuator was used to operate the clutch. The semi-automatic clutch by a pneumatic cylinder was operated with a supply air pressure of more than 3bar.

Study on Post-Fire Safe Shutdown Analysis using an Imaginary Plant for Training (교육용 가상원전을 이용한 화재안전정지분석에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, a post-fire safe shutdown analysis (PFSSA) including multiple spurious operation (MSO) treatments for cables was conducted with an imaginary nuclear power plant for training using a deterministic fire analysis code. The imaginary nuclear power plant for the training consisted of a reactor containment building and an auxiliary building, including a total of 22 fire areas. The equipment including valves, pumps, emergency diesel generators, switch gears, motor control centers, and logic controllers were located in each fire area of the imaginary plant. It was assumed that each equipment is connected with two cables and that each cable passes through the fire areas along the cable trays. A database containing the information on the equipment and cables for the imaginary plant was constructed for the fire area analysis. The fire area analysis was performed for several assumed MSO scenarios, equipment logics, and cable logics. A mitigation measure using a three hour rated wrap was applied to the failed cables and cable trays after the fire area analysis.
