  • In this study, for the integrated information management of underground pipelines, each information management server software must have it's inter-operability. So Many kinds of smart-city integrated platform softwares were surveyed and the best platform software was selected. The interface software modules developed in this study was installed at the test system. Through this test system, when a sub system transfers an event message to the upper integrated server system, the inter-operability test between the upper system and a sub operating system was performed and its operability was resolved.

The identified cyber security risks that threaten smart cities and smart-city-cyber-security-threat list are presented. The smart-city-cyber-security-requirements necessary to secure the smart city cyber security with the developed smart city-cyber-security-grid-matrix are given in this paper. We show how the developed smart city-cyber-security-grid-matrix methodology can be applied to real world. For it, we interlocked the developed smart city-cyber-security-grid-matrix methodology with the cyber-security-framework of the National Institute of Standards and Technology, and developed a framework-based smart city-cyber-security-grid-matrix. Using it, it is easy and comfortable to check the level of cyber security of the target smart ciy at a glace, and the construction and operation of the smart city security system is systematized.

  • The purpose of this research is to define detailed technologies of smart city based on excellent patents through patent analysis related to major technologies of smart city, and to use quantitative indicators to classify relatively high technology importance and identify related technologies. To achieve the purpose of the study, patent collection is conducted by reflecting literature research and expert opinions based on information related to the smart city Internet of Things/Internet of Things communication core technology. Also, DEA were used to determine the relatively high technology. The inputs and outputs used in the study used quantitative indicators to determine technical value and made up of impact assessment, performance assessment and value assessment. As a result of the analysis, various technology groups were classified into smart city-related platform technologies, information sharing technologies, and network-related technologies, and based on the results of this research, it is expected that it will be able to apply technology patents related to smart cities to research and development strategies through key detailed technologies by major technologies of Smart City.

  • The purpose of this study is to verify the stable flight conditions of drones within a limited urban area by using the ICAO(International Civil Aviation Organization) reich model which is using to evaluate civil aircraft stability. The results of the study are summarized as follows. First, in order for the drones flying stably, the horizontal safety separation distance between a drone and another should be at least 1,852M. Second, assuming that no obstacles within 1,852M of horizontal space, two drones can be fly into upper and lower spaces. However there are obstacles such as buildings, it is impossible to secure a 1,852M distance between drones. Third, sensitivity analysis point out that the separation interval($s_x$) of drone aviation has the greatest influence on the TLS(Target Level of Safety). If future research is conducted to lower the numerical values, the safety distance between a drone and another drone will be drastically reduced, allowing more detailed urban space division, and will be presented as a scientific numerical value for establishing a dedicated path for the drones.

  • Smart City operates with the purpose of solving urban problems. The important thing in smart city operation is that spatial information must be managed at a high level. In addition, it has the characteristics of being managed by one platform. This study presented the core value dimension of smart city based on analysis of various domestic and overseas smart city operation cases. Smart cities are basically operated based on spatial information, and the higher the level of spatial information, the more smart city services can be connected and managed in an integrated manner. The performance dimension of smart city core values presented in the study includes prosperity, personalization, convenience, accuracy, sustainability, safety, environment, integration, etc., and there is a connectivity dimension, a concept that can be managed in an integrated manner. This study will be useful for empirical research on smart city performance dimension design and surveys based on case studies. It will also help field managers who develop, operate, and manage smart cities when quantifying performance dimensions.

  • Korea Government promotes the installation of buffering retention facility to protect the water environment and prevent the environmental contamination event by toxic materials. Although the buffering retention facility is very important to protect the natural environment through the retention of accidental pollution and initial runoff, much study has not been done to suggest the guide line for the design of the facility. In this study, we suggested the rational items for the design of buffering retention facility based on many experts after we investigated and compared the previous results of many design materials.
