  • 우리 주변에서 인터넷에 접근할 수 있는 기반시설이 풍부하게 제공 되어 최근 출시되는 많은 가전제품과 전기전자 제품들은 인터넷에 접속하여 웹브라우저나 휴대폰을 이용하여 원격으로 감시하고 제어할 수 있다. 그러나 기존의 제품들은 대부분 인터넷 인터페이스가 없기 때문에 네트워크에 접속할 수 없어 불편함이 많았다. 따라서 본문에서는 주변의 가전제품 및 전기용품들을 스마트폰으로 감시하고 제어할 수 있는 인터넷 전원 콘센트를 위한 안드로이드 기반 스마트폰 애플리케이션을 설계하고 구현하였다. 본 논문에서 사용한 인터넷 전원콘센트 제어기는 위즈넷사에서 개발한 하드웨어 TCP/IP 프로세서인 W5300을 사용하여 AVR 마이크로프로세서로 운영 가능한 인터넷 인터페이스를 설계하고 구현한다. 하드웨어 TCP/IP 프로세서를 사용하여 이더넷 인터페이스를 구현하면 소형의 8비트 마이크로프로세서로 완전한 TCP/IP 스택의 구현이 가능하여 개발제품의 가격 경쟁력과 소형화에 기여할 수 있다.

Smart Outlet System for Single-person Household based on IoT (Internet of Things) (사물 인터넷 기반의 1인 가구를 위한 스마트 콘센트 시스템)

  • In this paper, we propose an IoT based smart outlet system for one-person household with electric safety, electric energy consumption management and transmission of messages to the reserved contacts by connecting the emergency network. The proposed smart outlet system is implemented by parsing packet data and protocol between server, module, application and WiFi AP receiver. The WiFi AP built for communication can be used not only for the outlet but also for the gas barrier, the door lock and the like. In addition, the proposed method can provide the remote monitoring function by receiving the amount of power of the receptacle received through the AC current sensor (SCT-013) in real time. The smart outlet system is expected to be capable of automatically shutting off the power in case of emergency through automatic power use analysis in addition to the standby power cutoff function.

  • In this paper, the function design of smart media platform control with smart monitoring, and displaying modules which have the priorities of smart plug based smart outlet, is proposed for electrical suppliance of essential information appliance in emergency power consumption situation(blackout, peaktime etc). The effect of power management will be maximized by this smart gateway interlocking with ESS(energy storage system) which has bi-directional power transmission control modules, and smart outlet based on the priority control actions.

  • In this paper, we develop the power management application of the Android operating system that works with a intelligent concent having the functions to protect resistive leakage current, over-current and standby power. Using this power management application a user monitors electrical fire, shock from a concent due to leakage current, can control home appliances by controlling the power supplied to the concents and can easily protect wasted standby powers, anytime and anywhere.

  • Along the era of "Internet of Things (IoT)" in which the physical objects can be connected to the Internet, a smart power management system is proposed in this paper. This system consists of two modules, an electrical outlet device embedding the Wi-Fi capabilities and a web server supporting the management as well as monitoring of power consumptions. Also, with the proposed system, a customer can easily check the status of power consumption and turn on/off the sockets through the developed mobile website. The proposed system is designed to avoid firewall or PC setting problems involving a user's inconvenience.

  • PCs and its peripherals uses more power in standby mode even if they are not actually being used. In particular, PCs and its peripherals used in school and office, plugged in at all times during working hours, but not used much time, even if turned off consume a portion of the power. In this paper, we developed Networked Smart Plug for Power Management of PC & Peripherals which is consist of EMS, Smart Plug, PC Agent and Smart Phone App. for power saving of PC and a variety of peripheral devices in office or home, and evaluated the performance of the system.

  • In this paper, the automatic standby power blocking socket outlet to reduce standby power by blocking power threshold is implemented. Where, the standby power means a flowing power when a disused power electronic is plugged into the socket outlet. The proposed socket outlet can cut off the standby power by establishing a proper block power threshold electronic device according to each electronic device because it can monitor the amount of power through the smart machines such as the real-time PC or mobile phone and directly control the blocking power threshold. The software is implemented by using Visual Studio software, code vision and SN8 C studio, and the hardware is embodied in ATmega128, SN8F27E93S, USB to UART, and relay etc. Through the simulation, we find that the standby power of the proposed method is similar to that of the conventional method in case of the cellular phone but the standby power of the proposed method is much less than that of the conventional method in case of the computer, air conditioning, and set-top box. Therefore, it is proved that the proposed socket outlet has a superior performance in terms of the standby power.

  • 본 논문에서는 효율적인 전력사용을 위해 가정에서 사용하는 대기전력을 모니터링 할 수 있는 시스템을 구현하였다. 무선 근거리 통신을 지원하는 RF통신을 이용한 콘센트를 이용하여 가전기기의 현 상태에 따라 평균 전력량을 대입, 예상 전력량을 계산하여 임베디드 보드 및 스마트폰에서 전력량을 실시간으로 모니터링 할 수 있도록 시스템을 구현 하였다.

  • 가정용 가전제품의 전력사용량을 절감하기 위한 방법은 인력과 ICT 융합형 관리시스템으로 가능하다. 인력에 의한 방안은 사용하지 않는 가전제품의 코드를 매번 콘센트와 분리하여야 하는 번거로움이있어 효과가 있음에도 활용도가 낮았다. 반면에 통합관리스템은 전체 가전제품을 원격으로 관리할 수 있도록 하나의 네트워크로 묶어 모니터링하고 관리하는 기술을 구현해야 하는 어려움이 있다. 본 논문에서는 스마트 플러그와 IPTV를 이용하여 대기전력의 차단과 사용량을 절감하기 위한 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 이를 통해 소요되는 비용을 최소화하고 이용은 편리하게 하여 성과를 높이고자 한다.

  • Recently, the infrastructure to be connected to the internet is much provided, there is more and more need to connect electric or electronic products to the internet to monitor or control them remotely. However, most of the existing products lack the network interface, so it was very inconvenient to be connected to the internet. Therefore, this article designs and realizes the internet outlet allowing real-time scheduling that can control the power remotely on the internet by using the hardware TCP/IP processor. The realized product consumes low production cost because it can be realized by using the hardware TCP/IP processor and the 8-bit small microprocessor. In addition, the product can be used widely in both wired and wireless environments with a variety of user interface, including the dedicated control program which provides the environment configuration functions; embedded web service that enables the webpage to be saved on the external flash memory; Android smartphone application; motion recognition control environment that uses the OpenCV computer vision library, etc.
