  • 도입까지 시간이 걸릴 것이라고 예측됐던 건설정보모델링(BIM : Building Information Modeling, 이하 BIM)이 어느새 성큼 다양한 분야에 진입했다. 영국, 싱가포르, 미국 등 해외에서는 이미 공공사업 시 BIM을 적극적으로 활용하고 있다. 우리나라 또한 2018년 국토교통부에서 '스마트 건설기술 로드맵'을 마련한 후 공공사업에 BIM을 단계적으로 도입해왔다. 대부분의 발주기관들은 오는 2025년까지 공공사업에 BIM을 전면 도입한다는 계획이다. 성균관대학교 공과대학 건설환경공학부 및 미래도시융합공학과 교수이자 국제건설자동화학회의 종신 상임이사인 권순욱 교수는 '스마트 건설 관리' 연구자이자 국내외에서 활동 중인 CM, BIM의 권위자다. 관련 분야의 책 8권과 100편 이상의 논문을 집필하고 30여 개의 특허·소프트웨어 등록을 보유하고 있다. 텍사스 오스틴 대학교 토목공학 박사 출신으로, 삼성물산, 한국건설기술연구원 등 일반 기업과 국가기관에서 실무와 이론을 두루 경험하며 경력을 쌓았다. 건설연구개발사업, 첨단 융복합 건설기술 등 다수의 국가 건설 R&D에 참여해 초고층 자재, 안전 모니터링, BIM 프로세스 표준개발 등의 시스템을 개발하기도 했다. 해외 연구자들과의 교류에도 적극적이다. 세계 석학들과 '노령 공학' 관련 영문교과서를 공동 집필(스마트주택 챕터 담당)했고, 2016년과 2019년엔 국제건설자동화학회와 국제프로젝트관리학회의 연사 자격으로 강단에 섰다. "영국, 싱가포르 등에선 공공사업을 100% BIM으로 발주하기 시작했습니다. 우리나라 정부도 비슷한 길을 가고 있습니다. 일정 규모의 발주 물량이 안정적으로 나오는 공공기관에서 그렇게 한다는 것은 국가가 전체 패러다임을 바꾸겠다는 의지 아닐까요?" 6월 10일 그의 연구실에서 권순욱 교수를 만나 BIM의 현황과 전망에 대해 들어봤다.

An Experimental Study on the Evaluation of Concrete Unit-Water Content by Aggregate Type Using Frequency Domain Reflectometry Sensor (고주파수분센서를 이용한 골재 종류에 따른 콘크리트 단위수량 평가에 관한 실험적 연구)

  • Recently, interest in concrete quality has been increasing. It is important to manage these factors due to unit-water content and aggregate quality that affect concrete quality. In this study, the unit-water content of concrete was measured through an economical, easy-to-measure, and portable Frequency Domain Reflecmetry sensor among micro-methods that compensated for the shortcomings of existing concrete unit-water content measurement methods. As a result of predicting the unit-water content, the accuracy within the ± 10 kg/m3 error range was confirmed to be more than 72% of all factors. In order to ensure high accuracy, it is considered necessary to conduct an experiment to evaluate the unit-water content by conducting additional experiments according to other variables and factors.

  • In this study, unit-water content was measured using a frequency domain reflecometry(FDR) sensor that complements the problems of the existing unit-water content measurement method to evaluate the unit-water content affecting the workability, durability, and quality of high strength concrete. The experiment used the unit-water content of high strength concrete as a variable, and the accuracy and probability distribution of the unit-water content measured through deep learning were analyzed for the output value output through the FDR sensor. In the case of the unit-water content predicted by deep learning analysis, a high accuracy and high distribution of more than 93% were found within the error range of ± 10 kg/m3. In the future, research is needed to secure high reliability by utilizing data obtained through experiments with various variables.

  • Recently, in the smart construction field, it is possible to construct spatial information of 3D data base quickly and accurately using drones, LiDARs and ARs,. Most public ordering institutions are pushing for the efficiency of construction work through establishing and announcing road maps and guidelines for utilizing BIM for the entire life cycle of construction. However, in most policies, the impact of 3D data on the entire life cycle is limited by only partially constructing and utilizing 3D data or by being mentioned. In addition, many public institutions, construction companies and planning companies did not actively utilize survey information during the actual construction phase, despite the possibility of using 3D survey information. In order to confirm the utilization of survey information, a total of eight private construction companies were selected and interviewed by experts. The analysis shows that most of companies lack the performance of drone measurements or have a lack of awareness of advantages, and among them, construction companies are relatively active. Based on these opinions, this study examined the usability of surveying information and examined measures to expand the utilization of survey information in legal and institutional aspects, technology development aspects and industrial development.

  • With the development of computer technology, many different kinds of digital design tools have been developed and used. In the circumstance, methodologies of digital process have more been researched. Despite various atypical forms, there have been limits to the application and practical use of the mobile technology for approaches to the creation of architectural forms and various circumstances. Therefore, this study tries to analyze previous studies and actual conditions of mobile application in order to recognize the research necessity and suggest the possibility of the atypical form creation in the mobile environment. In short, the purpose of this study is to recognize the necessity of the smart mobile application for making idea & learning tools, suggest the process based selective application method (not analytical application) of smart mobile application technology to make possible atypical form creation in the initial step of architectural design processes, and propose a new method of mobile application.

  • 공학교육에 있어 창의성과 독창성 그리고 타 분야와의 융합이 지속적으로 강조되고 있으며 이를 위한 새로운 교육이 제안되고 현장에 적극적으로 적용되고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 다양한 분야의 기술이 하나로 결합된 스마트 건축물을 제작한다. 목재를 활용하여 제작되는 건축물에는 거리센서(distance sensor), 소리센서(sound sensor), LED 센서(LED sensor) 및 DC 모터(DC motor) 그리고 이를 동작시키는 그래픽 기반의 스크래치 프로그램이 하나로 통합되며 최종적인 융합 결과를 도출한다.

  • The latest urban planning is taking advantage of the city's spatiality, and its weight is increasing. The spatiality of the city extends to the three-dimensional air space, including the underground space and the surface space, and this is the relative location of land-use situations utilizing the characteristics of the feng shui geography. In this study, the urban planning of the Suwon Department and the construction process of the Suwon Hwaseong Fortress were analyzed based on the feng shui geography, using the topography and geographical features of Paldal Mountain as the center of the data. Natural-friendly urban planning is required to adapt to natural laws and to preserve and share the ecosystem while harmonizing with the surrounding environment.

  • Predicting the compressive strength of concrete is important for shortening construction time and reducing construction costs. In this study, the coefficients required for maturity method and compressive strength prediction equation were calculated by measuring the cement hydration reaction rate, concrete setting time and ultimate strength. The experiment was conducted in an isothermal environment of 10℃, 20℃ and 30℃ using a normal Portland cement, and the experiment was conducted with a total of 9 levels of W/C (40%, 50%, 60%) of 3 levels for each temperature. As a result of comparing the predicted strength and the measured strength for each blend, only an error of less than 5% was found for all blending and curing periods.

  • In order to solve the problem of low early-age compressive strength of high volume fly ash concrete. This paper studies the effect of 2% sodium sulfate (Na2SO4) as a chemical activator on the paste with 40% fly ash content and a water-binder ratio of 0.30. The results indicate that the addition of Na2SO4 can effectively improve the early-age compressive strength of the fly ash-cement system, and the strength improvement rate on the first day reached nearly 70%. In addition, calorimetric analysis reveals that the incorporation of Na2SO4 promotes the early hydration of cement and fly ash, increases the cumulative hydration heat and delays the heat peak of the aluminum phase.

  • Recently, as blast furnace slag concrete has become widely used, managing the strength of concrete has become important. mSn is a method of correcting the difference in strength between standard cured specimens and concrete exposed to changes in temperature. In this study, the predicted strength based on the maturity of the central and outer parts of the blast furnace slag concrete structure is compared with the actual strength measured through coring. As a result, the actual strength difference between the center and the outer part of the concrete mixed with blast furnace slag was larger than the predicted strength difference.
