In this Paper, we propose a downlink service admission strategy that considers users QoS requirements by using a novel service quality prediction index for multi-service WCDMA mobile systems. The Proposed downlink service admission strategy is obtained by computing average received Power of each service, assuming a relative other-cell interference factor. With the proposed method we obtain a downlink service admission region where users of different services properly can be admitted. And adding the fairness at the proposed downiinh service admission strategy, we Propose another downlink service admission strategy. In the numerical examples, the downlink service admission region with fairness and the downlink service admission region without fairness of voice service and data services are obtained by proposed downlink service admission strategies, respectively.

Since presidential overseas trips are carried out as the head of state representing the Republic of Korea, the resulting records of such trips have high academic and historical significance and value both in contemporary times and for future generations. This study analyzes the status of production and service of overseas trip records, focusing on whether the records of the president's overseas trips are being produced properly and provided sufficiently to the public, and examines development plans for improvement. Currently, as a result of examining a total of 282 overseas trips provided by the Presidential Archives website, it is difficult for users to understand which records are being produced for even the basic records regarding the trips are not posted. In addition, the website is provider-centered, making users feel alienated rather than being considered in terms of search and provided records. In this study, for the production of high-quality overseas travel records, the "Presidential Overseas Trip Records Production Guidelines" established during the 'Participatory Government' will be supplemented, improved and applied. This archive policy will not be subject to any external variables, including changes in the government, and is suggested that it be consistent and unaffected. In addition, in order to improve the service provided, the following is proposed: first, provision of 'comprehensive information' that allows users to understand the overall context of the trip; second, use of the "file-record" layer and hyperlink function; third, a system that allows the stages of production and service of overseas trip records to be interconnected. In order to carry out these tasks, it would be essential to establish and operate an organization dedicated to records, such as the Secretariat of Archives and Records Management during the 'Participatory Government' period.

TCP 구현의 하나인 Vegas는 패킷의 유실을 망의 혼잡으로 인지하는 Reno와 달리 RTT(Round Trip Time) 측정값을 바탕으로 혼잡을 인지하며 윈도우 크기 등 혼잡 제어를 위한 주요 인자를 결정한다. TCP Vegas는 TCP Reno보다 더 효율적인 네트워크 대역폭과 처리율을 가진다. 그러나 Vegas의 혼잡 회피 방안이 TCP 패킷 경로의 비대칭적 특성을 제대로 반영하지 못하며, 이것은 양방향(순방향,역방향) 패킷 전송 상태를 반영하는 RTT 측정값을 순방향 경로의 상태 해석에 이용하기 때문이다. RTT는 패킷의 왕복 시간만을 측정하기 때문에 패킷의 송수신시 순방향과 역방향에서 어느 정도의 혼잡이 발생하였는지 알 수 없다. 본 논문에서는 리눅스 커널의 TCP 소스에서 RTT 측정값으로 혼잡도를 측정하는 기존의 Vegas 혼잡 제어 알고리즘을 수정하여 순방향 경로의 혼잡과 역방향 경로의 혼잡을 구별할 수 있는 새로운 Vegas 혼잡 제어 알고리즘을 설계하고 구현하여 그 성능을 분석하였다.

Downlink beamforming is very important in recent mobile communications which requires wireless internet, VOD(Video-On-Demand), multimedia services. This paper addresses and analyzes the essential considerations fur downlink beamforming of smart antenna system to provide wanted characteristics. Major considerations in this paper are HPA power allocation for downlink beamforming, received power at mobile terminal, concept and performance of auxiliary pilot channel, importance and moth of array calibration, and throughput comparison of downlink and uplink. All above mentioned items are investigated in this paper.

The measurement of RTT (Round Trip Time) can be used for the analysis of Internet congestion. However, simple measuring of RTT which measures only hun around time of a packet can not infer a packet forward/backward delay variation. In this thesis, we present a new algorithm which can be used for the estimation of forward/backward delay variation of packets. These delay variations are implication of network congestion state. In this algorithm, the reference forward/backward delay can be determined based on the minimum RTT value. The delay variation of each packet can be calculated by comparing reference delay with the packet delay. We verified our proposed algorithm by NS-2 simulation and delay measuring in a real network.

Increasing throughput using high order data modulations in the WCDMA downlink requires the elimination of multipath interferences. For this reason, Kenichi Higuchi proposed a multipath interference canceller in WCDMA downlink. However, this paper considers the downlink signal models that only contains code channels for which code information is known to the receiver. WCDMA systems contain code channels for other active users whose code information is unknown to the receiver and these code channels degrade the performance of the multipath interference canceller. Thus, this paper proposes a multipath interference mitigation scheme which removes multipath interference induced by all the code channels within a cell. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme outperforms both the RAKE receiver and the multipath interference canceller in the WCDMA downlink.

본 논문에서는 매크로셀/마이크로셀 기반의 셀 구조의 순방향 얼랑 용량 및 outage 확률을 수학적으로 분석하였다. 각 계층 셀에는 음성 및 다양한 속도의 데이터 서비스 사용자가 균일하게 분포되어 있다고 가정하였으며 계층의 자원 분배 방법으로는 각 계층이 동일한 주파수 대역을 사용하는 대역 공유 방식을 적용하였다. 또한, 본 논문에서는 전력 제어의 불완전성에 의한 영향도 고려하였다. 대역 공유 계층셀 구조의 순방향 용량은 계층셀 기지국간 송신 전력비 및 매크로셀 내부에 위치한 마이크로셀의 상대적인 위치와 밀접한 관련이 있다는 결론을 내릴 수 있었으며 모의 실험 결과를 통해 증명하였다. 본 논문에서는 대역폭이 1.2288MHz인 1x 시스템과 광대역 3x 시스템의 순방향 얼랑 용량을 비교 분석하였으며 3x 시스템이 1x 시스템에 비해 3배 이상의 얼랑 용량 증대효과를 가진다는 것을 제시하였다.
