Prediction Correlation of Solar Insolation using Relationships between Meteorological Data and Solar Insolation in 2012 (2012년 기상관측 결과와 한국형 수평면전일사량 예측식(I))

  • To well design the solar energy system, the correlation to calculate and predict solar irradiation is basically needed. So, this study was performed to reveal the relationships between the solar irradiation and four meteorological observation data(dry-bulb temperature, relative humidity, duration of sunshine, and amount of cloud) that didn't show from previous any other researches. And then, we finally proposed the various order non-linear correlation from the measured solar irradiation and four meteorological measurement data using MINITAB. To show the deviation and accuracy of the solar irradiation between measured and calculated, this study compared for the daily total solar insolation. From those results, the calculation error could well predicted about maximum 97% for the daily total solar insolation. But, the coefficients of the proposed correlations didn't show any relationships. So, needs more studies to make the proper one correlation for the country.

  • 지구환경문제와 에너지 수급관계를 감안할 때, 청정 및 대체에너지 연구개발은 불가피하며, 그 중에서도 태양에너지는 대표적인 대안의 하나로 인식된다. 따라서 태양에너지의 적극적인 활용에 필요한 기초자료의 마련은 필수적이다. 태양에너지의 이용 및 관련 절약 기술에 필요한 태양에너지 자원(기상)에 대한 기술자료는 최소한 30년간의 측정 자료를 필요로 한다. 이들 자료에는 시간별 수평면전 일사량, 법선면 직달일사량 및 수평면 산란일사량은 물론 시간별 평균치로 운량, 기온, 습도 등이 포함된다. 이들 자료로부터 자료의 분포, 평균 및 최고, 최저값 등과 같은 기초자료들을 선별하여 관련 시스템 설계에서 요구하는 기준을 충족하여야 하는 것이다. 그러나 우리나라의 경우, 태양에너지 자원에 대한 정밀한 측정은 1982년 이후 수평면 전일사량, 1990년 이후에서나 법선면 직달일사량에 대하여 본격적으로 이루어진 실정으로, 자료의 표준화 및 신뢰성 확보에는 여전히 상당한 시간과 노력이 요구되는 실정이다. 지속적인 측정과 더불어 요구되는 것으로 측정자료의 가공기술을 들 수 있다. 즉, 측정자료의 품질평가 및 관리 기술, 미측정 또는 불량자료의 복원 기술 및 측정 지역외 자료의 추정을 위한 보간기술 등이다. 이와 같은 기초자료 및 기술에 관한 연구개발은 보다 구체적인 적용에 앞서 필수적으로 이루어져야 할 과제이다.

Performance Validation of Five Direct/Diffuse Decomposition Models Using Measured Direct Normal Insolation of Seoul (서울지역 실측일사량을 이용한 일사량 직산분리 모델의 정밀성 검증 연구)

  • Five direct/diffuse decomposition models were validated using the eight years data set of direct normal beam insolation measured in Seoul. The comparison has been performed In terms of the widely used statistical indicators such as MBE, RMSE, CV(RMSE), t-Statistic and Degree of Agreement. Result indicates that most of the correlations exhibit a tendency to underestimate the direct normal beam insolation except Bouguer's model. Most of big discrepancies between the measured and the predicted values was mainly shown in near the sunrising and the sunset period. Even though the investigated five models showed fairly large disagreement for the measured values by 34%$\sim$48% of CV(RMSE), Udagawa's correlation which includes the effect of solar altitude variation appears to performs always better in every statistical error tests.

  • 신재생 에너지 분야의 산업과 기술의 발달과 함께 스마트 그리드와 에너지 저장 시스템이 주목받고 있다. 기존의 에너지 공급망에 정보통신기술(ICT)을 접목하여 에너지 공급자와 소비자가 양방향으로 실시간 정보를 교환함으로써 에너지 효율을 최적화하는 차세대 지능형 에너지망에 대한 수요가 늘고 관리기술에 대한 요구가 증가함에 따라, 다양한 에너지 공급원마다의 최적화된 운영시스템을 요구하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 산업분야에서 사용되고 있는 태양열에 기반한 시스템과 누적된 기상 데이터와 집열량에 대한 데이터를융합분석하여 수평면전일사량을 예측할 수 있는 시스템을 제안한다.

Comparative Studies on Heating and Cooling Loads' of a Building Varied by Annual Weather Data (연도별 기상데이터를 활용한 건물의 냉.난방부하 특성 비교)

  • The purpose of this study is to compare and analyze the differences of a building's heating and cooling loads depending on the weather variation. Followings are the results. The temperature, humidity and wind speeds of standard year are bigger than those of 2006~2009. The 2006~2009's total horizontal solar irradiance is greater than that of standard year, and the direct solar irradiance of standard year is bigger in winter and vice versa in summer. As results of simulation on heating and cooling loads, it is difficult to find out the bilateral influences between maximum thermal loads and annual's. The equivalent-time operating ratio(EOR) is defined on this study to estimate the differences between year and year, and the EOR of standard year shows low value comparing to 2006~2009 years'.

  • Recently, the authors of this paper proposed newly the correlation model to calculate the horizontal global solar radiation in Korea based the Zhang-Huang (ZH) model proposed in 2002 for China. Previous study was pronounced the correlation with a new term of the duration of sunshine proved as being closely related with the hourly solar radiation in Korea into ZH model. And then another modified correlation for the regions without measuring cloud cover was proposed and evaluated the accuracy and validity for those regions. So, this study was performed to propose modified correlation to calculate the horizontal global solar irradiance of non-measuring cloud-cover regions. Finally, this study proposed the new correlation that could well predict hourly and daily total solar radiation for all regions, various seasons, and various weather conditions including overcast and clear, with higher accuracy and lower error than other models proposed ever before in Korea for non-measuring cloud-cover regions.

Analysis of Trends and Correlations between Measured Horizontal Surface Insolation and Weather Data from 1985 to 2014 (1985년부터 2014년까지의 측정 수평면전일사량과 기상데이터 간의 경향 및 상관성 분석)

  • After 30 years of KKP model analysis and extended 30 years of accuracy analysis, the unique correlation and various problems between measured horizontal surface insolation and measured weather data are found in this paper. The KKP model's 10yrs daily total horizontal surface insolation forecasting was averaged about 97.7% on average, and the forecasting accuracy at peak times per day was about 92.1%, which is highly applicable regardless of location and weather conditions nationwide. The daily total solar radiation forecasting accuracy of the modified KKP cloud model was 98.9%, similar to the KKP model, and 93.0% of the forecasting accuracy at the peak time per day. And the results of evaluating the accuracy of calculation for 30 years of KKP model were cloud model 107.6% and cloud model 95.1%. During the accuracy analysis evaluation, this study found that inaccuracies in measurement data of cloud cover should be clearly assessed by the Meteorological Administration.

  • At present, the Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) measures the horizontal solar irradiation with time in 33 areas. Among these measured data, this study analyzed the tendency of applying the new analysis method by using the horizontal solar irradiation with the time which was measured in 18 regions across the country for ten years from 2005 to 2014. The method applied to the analysis is to compare the value of the annual total horizontal solar irradiance for one year with the value of that for the previous year of each year, and give +1 when it is higher than the reference ratio, 0 if it is within the reference ratio, and -1 when it is lower than the reference ratio. The characteristics of each region and nationwide characteristics according to the change of each reference ratio were evaluated and analyzed. Through the analysis results, the analysis method applied in this study could be well describe the characteristics of the solar irradiance during some years.
