This research explores the effect of TV news anchor's gender on affect of viewer and memory of news based on elaboration likelihood model. For this experimental research, 2 groups of subjects composed of university students were exposed to different types of TV news and responded to survey questions about affect and short-term and long-term memory. This research found that subjects exposed to woman anchor's news showed higher degree of affect and short-term memory, but lower degree of trust than subjects exposed to man anchor's news, but interactive effect of viewers' involvement and anchor's gender as an peripheral clue was not found.

Inclusion compounds using cyclic poly(oxyethylene)s as host molecules have been used to polymerize pyrrole chemically in aqueous medium. This general synthetic strategy makes it possible to grow rigid aromatic polymers in aqueous medium by chemical oxidation method. It is an easy method to obtain rigid polymers in a very mild manner. Some threaded and water-soluble polypyrroles are obtained, and their characterization is performed by NMR, IR, UV, and MALDI-TOF MS measurements.

This thesis investigates characteristics and factors of 'receptive appreciation' which leads Chinese classic literature to high level. Receptive appreciation is literally appreciation method that appreciator accepts literary work in his position. In other words, it is to internalize literary work and to elicit his feeing. This receptive appreciation has two characteristics. One is that appreciator's feeling varies according to his circumstances and personality, the other is that the value of literary work is rediscovered by appreciator. Variation is the meaningful factor of literary work and know-how that literary work is called classic. Appreciator must have some conditions for receptive appreciation ideally. Writer's values reflected in the literary work, understanding of historical background, excellent eye supported by appreciator's various experience, comprehensive and neutral thinking are important premises. This study about receptive appreciation of Chinese classic literary work helps that appreciators have eyes for it.

While smart learning have been introduced for more learning effect, this study is to understand instructor's smart learning acceptance using technology acceptance model(TAM). This study developed the extended TAM model, including external pressure for smart learning and smart self efficacy for smart devices as study variables and attempted to examine the research model through the empirical analysis. The research model has the 7 variables including smart self-efficacy and external pressure. For the empirical study, the survey was conducted for the one month, March, 2016, and the total 143 data among the collected 167 responses were used for the empirical analysis. As the result of the analysis through the structural equation model, the 9 paths among the total 10 paths show the significant relationships between the variables. Through using the result of this study, it is to provide suggestions for the improvement of smart learning environments.

After the scientific development of human history, numerous images have been developed and expanded in digital media as a communication tools. Image digital media make communication closer between sender and receptor. The image digital media which has been developed with the change of technology and media transformation have shortened visual information transportation and the time as well by combining the sense of visual and audio. Motion graphic field has been emerged as the type of image digital media development. The development of motion graphic make possible for the expressive effect and dynamic image technique which is impossible by the existing media type. Especially, it is applied to various field such as the title of movie, TV program, and advertise or music video etc. These image expression techniques are stimulating acceptor's emotion to take a role of emotion communication function also. This study aims to find the characteristics motion graphic of which how influence as an effective communication tool as important role to the receptors, and the examine the effect and application of motion graphic to the receptors as a emotion communication tool by case study.

Persona is an actor's external ego constructed by playing various roles, and his/her another self-portrait in the eyes of the audience. This study was conducted to analyze persona identity containing core persona(CP) and to gain implications for the growth strategy of the actress Son Ye-jin called "melo queen" by verifying consistency between the CP and audience responses to her starring works of the past. According to the related theories and models, the persona was firstly set as image, visuality, personality and consistency, and it was used to extract and sort descriptive texts about Son related news articles in the last 5 years of the six major Korean newspapers using the content analysis method. After that, we analyzed the number of viewers of her movies and the audience share of her dramas by genre. As a result, Son's persona components were found to have a proportion for 54.2% images (34.0% for melo and romance images, 20.2% for non-melo and romance images), 25.6% for visibility, 13.8% for consistency, and 6.4% for personality. Her CP was derived from a melo and romance image. Comparing this with the audience reaction, the melo romance genre dominated and showed consistency in the drama, but in the case of the film, the non-melo romance was dominant and did not match each other. The results were attributed to a wide gap between dramas and movies in terms of key viewers, box office factors, degree of genre hybridity and experimentality. Therefore, Son should actively use her CP in the drama and challenge the various roles in order to expand her persona spectrum in the film.

This study has two major purposes. First, this research empirically tests whether there are the impacts of the third-person effects on individuals' perceptions of the girl groups' suggestive performance. The second purpose of this study is to examine the relationships between the perceptual biased toward the influences of the girl groups's suggestive performances and the supports for regulation. For this purpose, this paper investigated individuals' perception of different degrees to which the suggestive performance has influences on three dissimilar groups including 'the self', 'colleagues' and 'the others' and how they affect supports for regulation. An online survey was administrated on 305 people who have watched the girl groups' lasciviousness performance for data gathering. The collected data were analyzed with t-test, multiple and hierarchical regression. The results showed that there are significant differences in perceptions of the effect of suggestive performance on three groups including 'the self', 'colleagues' and 'the others'. The findings also revealed that the perception of the effects of lasciviousness performance on 'the others' is one of the strongest predictors for the supports for regulation. The implications of these results were also discussed.

한류에 대한 기존 언론보도 및 연구 경향은 다음과 같이 요약된다. 중국 일본 및 서구에서의 한류 현상에 대한 편중된 관심과 한류 분석틀로서 문화근접성 이론에 대한 지나친 의존이다. 이러한 상황은 한류 현상에 대한 객관적인 인식과 경험적인 분석을 방해하고 있다. 이러한 문제의식에 기초한 본 연구는 동남아시아, 특히 싱가포르의 한류 현상에 대한 분석을 통해 보다 객관적이고 다각화된 한류 연구를 모색한다. 지리적으로 동남아시아에 위치하고 있지만 문화적으로 동북아시아적 요소를 포괄하고 있는 싱가포르는 아시아 내 초국적 대중문화 교통을 연구하는 데 있어 전략적으로 중요한 공간이다. 본 논문은 싱가포르의 한국 대중문화 수용자들에 대한 포커스그룹 인터뷰, 문헌조사와 참여관찰을 통해 한류 형성의 이유 및 한류 팬덤이라는 문화적 실천이 갖는 의미를 탐구한다. 수용자에 대한 분석은 그가 배치된 싱가포르 미디어 구조에 대한 역사적, 기술적, 정치경제적 맥락화를 통해 보다 체계화된다. 본 연구를 통해 동남아시아에서 발견되고 있는 "외래문화 수용의 진부화"(banalization of foreign cultural reception)라는 상황이 동남아시아 내 한류 전개에 중요한 영향을 끼쳤으며, 동남아시아 미디어산업의 저개발 상황이 한국 대중문화 수용에 우호적 조건으로 작용했음을 확인할 수 있었다. 마지막으로, 연구자는 동아시아 내 문화교통의 연속성 (continuum of cultural traffic within East Asia) 안에 한류 연구를 배치할 것을 제시한다.
