Due to a lack of teachers and available classrooms, high school students are not able to take the elective courses of their choice. In order to solve this problem with online instruction, I have used the following methods: First, I conducted a literature study to examine the concepts and models of online instruction. Second, I compared the number of students who took the CSAT subject tests with the number of students who enrolled in optional courses through KEDI's Education Statistics Services. Using the data gathered from this comparison, I could predict the demand for each optional course. Finally, I proposed amending the Elementary and Secondary Education Act; the Enforcement Decree of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act; the General Statement Curriculum of High Schools; and the Guidelines for Recording School through the expert interviews for on-line instruction in order to establish online instruction for high school students.

Action learning is a teaching method that is taught through the process of finding real problems and finding solutions. The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of action learning for the college course 'media education for children' which was offered by the Department of Child Psychology and Education at S university in Seoul. According to the process of action learning suggested by Marquardt(2000), college students developed the problem of children's news literacy education and set the purpose, goal and contents of news literacy and developed teaching and learning method for the 6th grade elementary students and applied it to the education field. The college students' evaluation about the action learning lesson were collected by questionnaire and verbal. They found that active and voluntary problem-solving and field application through action learning helped to achieve the goals of the children's media education class. Finally, the importance of close cooperation with the educational field and of appropriate feedback were discussed as a necessary condition of action learning teaching method.

The purpose of this study is to examine the perception of college students about English classes using TED talks and to examine whether TED talks are appropriate as a learning material for college English. As a college English subject, 50-60 minutes of online classes were conducted for one semester where TED talks were used, and the data collected by conducting a survey on learners' English learning motivation, interest, attitude, satisfaction, and learning effect were analyzed utilized SMART PLS 3. The results are as follows. First, English learning motivation had a statistically significant effect on learning attitude while it did not affect the learning satisfaction. Second, the level of interest in the TED Talk-using class had a positive effect on the learning attitude and satisfaction. Third, the learning attitude positively affected the learning effect perception. Fourth, satisfaction with the TED Talk class had a positive effect on the learning effect perception. In conclusion, English classes using TED talk can increase the interest and satisfaction of learners, and induce active class participation, which lead to a positive perception in learners' learning effects. Therefore, this study implies that TED talks are valuable and significant enough as materials in college English classes.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of writing academic reflection journals and feedback activity experiences in untact online classes for engineering students who have taken communication liberal arts classes, and to find out the effect of these learning strategies to promote students' learning motivation, to check whether it is useful for class participation and immersion. In order to find out the effect of class, pre- and post-tests on learning motivation were conducted, and the students' reflection journals and in-depth interviews were analyzed using the topic analysis method, which is one of the qualitative research methods. As a result of the study, it was found that the reflection journal and feedback activity had a significant effect on individual learning understanding, immersion, attitude, etc. The study is meaningful in that it was able to confirm students' active learning attitudes and positive teaching effects with appropriate learning strategies according to changes in the untact educational environment. Various teaching-learning strategies according to changes in the educational environment should be sought and applied in many ways.

The objective of this study is the analysis of the effects of educational contents authoring in a PBL using NetLogo Pre-service teachers' creativity. With utilization of the analysis, we attempted to draw implications on the factors considered in instructional design. To compare their creativity before and after class, we have done pre-service teachers test for each Pre- and Post- TTCT and LCT. Based on the analysis, as a result, there has been a significant improvement in their creativity, most especially in the 'fluency' subcategory.

Online learning at a medical school was evaluated and improved based on the results of the evaluation and the principles of online learning environments design. The purpose of this study was to compare the results of online learning satisfaction between semesters from medical students and professors. To evaluate online learning, satisfaction surveys for an online learning platform, student participation, learning methods, learning contents, student assessments, and learning supports were developed and distributed to research participants. 223 students and 37 professors participated for the 1st semester, and 218 students and 49 professors participated for the 2nd semester, and paired t-tests were used for the analysis. Student satisfaction for the online learning platform, learning methods, learning contents, and learning supports were positively changed. However, the differences in the satisfaction for the student participation and student assessments were not statistically significant. In particular, students' satisfaction in basic medical sciences and clinical medicine periods decreased, whereas students' satisfaction in preclinical medicine and clinical clerkship periods increased. Based on the results, this study will contribute to the improvement of online learning at medical schools.

This study deals with the proposals and the verification of the causal relationship between improvements of corporate manager's learning attitude for enterprises productivity and managerial effectiveness, the learner's familiarity and personal character strengths that are classified as positive psychology-based theory. For this study, researchers designed the structural equation model using the AMOS analysis. And researchers conducted the interviews using a questionnaire survey of quantitative research methods. Results of the analysis are as below. First, both online and offline classes were identified as the learner's character strengths affect the positive effect to the learner's familiarity strengths. Second, the learner's familiarity affects the positive effect to improvements of learning attitude. And the last, the learner's character strengths and improvements of learning attitude are not significant effect each other, therefore researcher could be found that the role of mediating variables of the learner's familiarity strengths. In this study, researchers analyzed the relationship between familiarity strengths and improving the learning attitudes needed for a desirable curriculum development considering the learners' personality factors. These findings contribute to an ideal course of study when educator design a curriculum and contribute to a successful communication strategy.

This study suggests the effectiveness of G-learning English afterschool classes implemented to elementary school students at low achievement level in English. These days, the use of games in teaching and learning, known as G-learning, has gradually expanded, so it is necessary to consider how to adapt G-learning generally in English education. A G-learning afterschool English class was implemented to 23 low-level 5th grade students in an elementary school located in Daejon for 12 weeks. This study set two hypotheses aiming to determine the effectiveness in achievement and affectiveness of the participants. Pre and post achievement tests were conducted. Also, survey and FGI (focused group interview) were carried out twice with the participants. The study found that students' spelling awareness, vocabulary recognition and dialogue comprehension ability (hypothesis 1) were all improved with statistical significance. Moreover, after the class, participants' confidence and interest toward English study showed meaningful increases.

This study attempts to examine the impact of a documentary film, on the perception and satisfaction with the public health insurance system in South Korea. It is needed that public support to expand health insurance coverage and to intensify national health insurance. The documentary film investigates health care in the United States, comparing with the non-profit universal health care systems of Canada, the United Kingdom, France and Cuba. So an online education content for the general education was developed using this film and the surveys were carried out to gather information about perception, satisfaction and opinion on national health insurance system before the lesson and after. And pared t tests were conducted to analyze the effects of this education content using the film on perception and attitudes towards national health insurance system. Based on the empirical results, the way to develop education contents for improving the understanding public health system and to verify the effect of education contents were discussed.
