  • 본 논문은 냉동상품용 자판기를 구현하는데 가장 핵심적인 상품인출기구에 관한 것으로 자판기의 냉동고에 저장된 상품을 외부로 인출할 때 냉기의 유출을 최소화하여 전력의 효율을 높여 전기에너지를 절감할 수 있도록하고. 냉동고 내부의 이송기구가 결빙에 의한 고장이 발생되지 않도록 이송기구를 구현하는 것이다. 기존 자판기는 상품을 냉동고에서 외부로 인출하려면 여러 기계, 기구 장치를 이용하여 어렵게 이송하여야 하고, 상품을 이동시키는 모터축이나 체인이 저온으로 인하여 결빙되어 작동불능 상태가 되게 된다. 이러한 고장은 자판기가 자판기 고유의 동작을 할 수 없을 뿐 아니라 소비자들에게 불편함을 주게 되는데 고장을 방지하여 신뢰성을 높였다. 그리고 상품을 외부로 인출시 저온 냉장고는 많은 냉기를 유출하게 되어 냉동 자판기로서의 활용을 무색하게 할 뿐 아니라, 다시 저온으로 유지하는데 많은 전력을 소모하게 된다. 이러한 점을 보완하여, 에너지 절약 및 보다 신뢰성 높은 냉동 식품용 자판기를 구현하였다.

Analyses on Sunshine Influence and Surface Freezing Section of Road using GIS (GIS를 이용한 도로의 일조영향 및 노면결빙구간 분석)

  • In case of the roads that pass the mountain area, the cut sections or the tunnels are constructed. And In winter season it appears sunshine few in the specific segment, the shade is continued last and the freezing sections occur. So, the attention is necessary in traffic safety. This study was to evaluate the influence of sunshine and surface freezing sections expected in route plans of roads using GIS and makes alternative ideas in road stability security. After selecting 29 km sections of Donghae highway and creating a 3 dimensional terrain surface through the digital conversion of design plan data, it reflects the road alignment data of the same coordinates and a 3 dimensional road modeling is created. It set shadow time of road surface for the solar trace in the winter solstice in 20 minute interval. Shade areas are displayed and inputed in polygon data by manual vertorizing. Graphic and attribute data of this shade section is constructed in geodatabase of ArcCatalog. And it extracted the freezing section using intersect fuction of the GIS spatial analysis. By analyzing the winter meteorological data of temperature, rainfall, snowfall, humidity, and etc. and grasping dangerous freezing section of the road surface effectively, it will be able to make alternative ideas of the preliminary stability evaluation reflected in basic design.

  • 전곡리 일대는 화산지형, 단층지형, 구석기 문화연구 등 여러 분야의 학문적 관심이 집중된 지역이다. 본 연구는 박편 분석, 물리화학 광물분석등이 수단을 활용하여 전곡리 용 암대지를 덮고 있는 피복물의 형성과 퇴적 후의 변화과정을 밝히려고 한 것이다, 여기서 다 음과 같은 사실을 밝힐수 있었다. 전곡리 용암대지는 Riss-Wrm 간빙기에는 별로개석되 지 않았다가 Wrm 빙가에 들어와 인근 황해의 해수면이 낮아지면서 개석된 것으로 추정 된다. 그리고 Wrm빙기 전기간에 걸쳐 용암대지에는 건육화된 황해와 인근 하천(한강, 임 진강) 범람원에서 바람에 의해 날려온 미립물질이 약 8m 이상 퇴적되었다. Wrm 빙기후 기에는 이풍적토(Loess)가 여름에도 녹지 않는 결빙층이 발달했을정도의 한랭 습윤했던 기 후의 영향을 받았다, 이로 인해 일련의 크랙(엽상구조를 이루는 수평크랙과 불규칙한 수직 방향크랙)들이 발달했고 풍적 물질의 미시적 조직과 구조도 많이 변화했다. 또한 결빙작용 으로 변형된 구조의 규제를 받으며 gleyzation 이 진전되었다. 단면 관찰에서 회백색 얼룩과 붉은 또는 검붉은 얼룩이 복잡하게 섞여 있는 모습은 바로 이것이 진전된 결과이다, 그간 발굴된 구석기 유물들은 결빙구조 및 gleyzation의 흔적이 잘 나타나는 부의에서 출토되었 다, 이사실은 본 지역의 구석기 인류가 생활했던 시기는 Wrm 빙기에서도 이러한 한랭 기후가 있기 이전이었음을 시사한다.

  • When freezing is present on ballast water, it can impose additional loads on the hull and effect on stabilization of ship. The anti-icing techniques of ballast water, therefore, are key criteria for ship safety. The existing anti-icing techniques of ballast tank are hull heating, water circulation and air bubble system etc. In this research, anti-icing performance tests for the ballast water using micro-bubble system and sea water circulation system have been carried out at two temperature conditions($-10^{\circ}C$ and $-25^{\circ}C$). Ambient temperature, sea water temperature and temperature of the inner parts of the ballast tank are measured and also ballast water conditions are checked during the model test. The applied anti-icing techniques of ballast water, such as micro-bubble system and sea water circulation system show good performance in the low temperature conditions.

  • The present study explored the rapid effect of low temperature on the freezing resistance of dehardening twigs of three apple cultivars and sweet cherry. The effect of low temperature was depending upon the thawing treatment following to the low temperature treatment. When the freezing temperature to $-9^{\circ}C$ for three hours followed by thawing treatment ($5^{\circ}C$) was given repeatedly twice, the low temperature increased apparently the cold hardiness of apple and cherry by 3 to $9^{\circ}C$. On the other hand, when the freezing temperature ($-9^{\circ}C$) for ten hours was pretreated without thawing, the low temperature appeared not affecting the cold resistance of the twigs. The role of freezing-thawing temperature cycle in nature was discussed as a signal of environmental stimulus to which dehardening plant may be responding to increase their cold hardiness so as to adapt against the damage of late frost in early spring.

  • The ice accreted on the airfoil is one of the critical drivers that causes the degradation of aerodynamic performance as well as aircraft accidents. Hence, an efficient numerical code to predict the accreted ice shape is crucial for the successful design of de-icing and anti-icing devices. To this end, a numerical code has been developed for the prediction of glaze ice accretion shape on 2D airfoil. Constant Source-Doublet method is used for the purpose of computational efficiency and heat transfer in the icing process is accounted for by Messinger model. The computational results are thoroughly compared against available experiments and other computation codes such as LEWICE and TRAJICE. The direction and thickness of ice horn are shown to yield similar results compared to the experiments and other codes. In addition, the effects of various parameters - temperature, free-stream velocity, liquid water contents, and droplet diameter - on the ice shape are systematically analyzed through parametric studies.

  • As a chemical de-icing method, propylene glycol de-icing fluid is applicable for melting ice caused by snow and ice adhering to the lower part of high-speed rail rolling stock and bogie parts in winter. By spraying propylene-glycol de-icing fluid on high-speed rail rolling stock and bogie parts in advance to minimize snow adhesion, ice-melting efficiency can be further improved. In the case of high-speed rail rolling stock, even if propylene-glycol de-icing fluid is sprayed, the anti-icing performance is poor because the fluid is almost lost on the surface of the vehicle when operating at high speed. In this study, in order to prevent freezing caused by snow and ice adhering to the lower part of high-speed rail rolling stock and bogie parts, we have investigated the properties of propylene-glycol de/anti-icing fluid containing water-repellent agents that prevent surface freezing. We tried to find the optimal component for de/anti-icing fluid for high-speed rail rolling stock by evaluating the ice melting performance, contact angle, and anti-icing performance according to the types of water-repellent agent. As a result of the evaluation, it was confirmed that an de/anti-icing fluid containing an ethoxysilane-type water repellent agent was most suitable.

  • The freezing point would be different as the atmospheric pressure and humidity change. So if we can measure the transparency of ice, it should be easy that we approximate a freezing process and estimate the density of ice. This paper presents the method for estimating the transparency of ice in images. First, ice images are mapped to the $CIEL^*a^*b^*$ color space, and we make a new index for the ice transparency by using the average of $L^*$ and RMS(Root Mean Square) Contrast. In this case, the new index is better than the other existing method, i.e, Weber contrast, and Michelson contrast.
