The purpose of this study is to analyze the quantity, residents` storing manner, and frequency in use of the stored items in bedrooms. and to comprehend the relevant desires of the residents in apartments. The results of the study are summarized as follows; 1. The quantity of the stored Items in bedrooms of apartments were measured after classified into 4 categories; Western style clothes, Korean costumes, underwears, and miscellaneous items. The quantity of the stored items In Rl(the largest bedrooms) was more than twice as many as in R2(the second largest bedrooms)2. The stored items were divided inte 3 categories according to the manner in which they were stored; those generally hung, those generally folded, and those hung or folded half-and-half.3. The frequency in use of the stored items was classified into 2 categories-those used "always" or "often" and those used "seasonal" or "seldom"·and shown diversely according to the kind of items4. It was shown that most residents in apartments were not much satisfied with storage space, i.e.. they generally fell the storage space insufficient. And they tended to want more wardrobes in Rl, and more shelves in R2.

The purpose of this study is to develop furniture design for the apartment based on the market research of furniture and interior design, and the survey on the design preference of hte apartment residents. The apartment furniture in living rooms, bed rooms and kitchens are designed according to the design concepts of preference image of apartment sizes: that of mid-size apartment(34pyung type) is Natural Modern image, large-size(59pyung type) is Korean Modern image, and extra large-size(81pyung type) is Classic Modern image. The living furniture is designed smaller in order to use the space flexibly, and the built-in furniture of bed rooms is designed simply like the wall of a room to be felt larger, basically. The furniture in kitchen is composed of the storage zone by high cabinets and the display zone by open shelves.

고주파 유도가열은 무공해 에너지 절약을 기본으로 하는 전기가열의 한 방법으로 환경 친화와 에너지 절감에 많은 기대를 하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 절연체 용기내에 특수 발열체 부하를 수납하여 외부의 코일과 비접촉상태로 전자유도에 의해 와전류를 발열체에 흘림으로서 발열하게 되는 새로운 방식을 제안하였다. 설계한 인버터는 스위칭 주파수 20[kHz] 대역에서 작동되는 고주파 직렬 부하 공진형이며 LC 공진 설계에서 L을 부하로 설정하여 효율을 최대화 하였다.

This study is concerned about the development of tower type automatic tool changer. The tower type automatic tool changer is developed to reduce stand-by time by shortening tool change time. The developed system can store more number of tools in small space. A structural analysis for the machine is carried out to check the machine design using commercial software, CATIA V5. In the result of structural analysis, the safety of the developed system is confirmed.

This is the third consecutive study on the 'Standardization of Measurements for Korean Kitchen work cneters and cabinets for future design criteria I, II'. The present research consisted of two studies 1) the examination of attitudes and responses of consumers toward kitchen work centers and cabinets, and 2) comparision of actual measurements with the models suggested in study II. Homemakers of upper and middle class residing in Seoul were selected for the survey: 1,096 survey questionaires on consumer attitudes and 95 questionnaires on actual measurements were used. Data were analyzed using the SAS computer package.

본 연구에서는 고속도로와 같은 연속류 에서의 통행시간 군집화 현상을 연구하여 신뢰성 있는 단위 시간 당 구간 대표 통행시간을 구하는 전처리 방법을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 현재까지는 단위시간 당 구간의 통행시간 대푯값으로 하나의 평균값(Mean), 최빈값(Mode), 또는 중앙값(Median)이 사용되었다. 이의 문제점은 운전자의 주행 습관(빠른 주행, 느린 주행), 휴게소 이용, 도로 정체 등 다양한 요인으로 인하여 차량일 구간 주행 속도 간 편차가 많아 현재 사용하는 1개의 대푯값으로는 전체 차량의 운행 특징을 정확히 표현하기가 곤란하다는 점이다. 이를 개선하기 위하여 본 연구에서는 군집 방법을 이용하여 차량군을 복수의 비슷한 군집으로 나누고 나누어진 그룹별로 통행시간 대푯값을 선정하는 방법을 제시하고 실험하여 이 방법이 효과적임을 증명하였다.

영상레이더 (SAR: Synthetic Aperture Radar) 혹은 통신 안테나/탑재체를 장착한 위성은 원하는 주파수 대역의 운용을 위해 대형 안테나 구조물 장착이 필수적이다. 이러한 대형 구조물은 일체형으로 제작되어 위성체에 접속되었을 때, 요구 무게 및 점유하는 부피가 매우 큰 특징을 지닌다. 따라서, 대형 안테나 구조물의 중량으로 인해 발사비 증가가 불가피하며, 페어링 내부의 허용된 공간에 안테나 크기는 큰 제약적 요인이 된다. 그리고, 전개식이어도, 전개후 질량 관성이 큰 구조물이 된다. 위성체의 발사 비용과 직결되는 안테나의 경량화를 위한 많은 기술이 연구되고 있다. 특히, 접이식 팽창형 안테나는 반사체의 유연한 메쉬 구조 및 경량 지지구조물로 안테나의 무게를 줄이고 수납 효율을 향상시킨다. 또한, 전개 후 안테나의 목적한 기능을 충분히 보장함과 동시에 질량 관성이 작은 구조물에 의한 위성의 기동성을 극대화할 수 있다. 국내에서도 전천후 지상관측감시 및 통신 안테나의 필요성 증대에 따라 초경량 전개형 안테나 개발의 필요성이 크게 대두되고 있으나, 현재까지는 관련 기술개발 사례가 전무한 실정으로 국내 독자적 기술 확보가 시급한 실정이다.

Residential indoor space is a major living setting for young children where multi-dimension at development can be expected through the interaction with items and components of the environment. The physical environment and attributes have been, however, relatively ignored. Especially during last several decades of housing development, residential units have been produced without accurate understanding of residents' material possession. To better design living environments, especially, a life setting for children, this research focused on finding out the characteristics of living items which belong to and are used by children.

The purpose of this study was to examine resident's needs for storage according to unit size. In order to achieve our goal, the questionnaire survey was used. The results of the study were obtained as follows: 1) In research on consciousness and attitude about the storage, Residents tended to keep the goods of no use and prefered to arrange neatly rather than use conveniently. 2) In research on the storage needs, needs for the built-in furniture in all apartment sizes showed highly and residents wanted a space for the exclusive use of the storage.
