GIS is linked with Numerical Model(PM5) for the effective conservation and management of groundwater resources. All the relevant system was systematically constructed to analyze the field status by means of precise understanding of the surface and subsurface environment and by accumulating large amounts data and attribute data into developed system. The necessity of integrated management of the groundwater information was demonstrated and the general direction of the construction of groundwater management system was suggested. The proposed system will guide a method for the rational decisions of groundwater development via the establishment of the appropriate database management and accurate prediction of future change.

This article discusses the vascular change of dorsal surface of tongue following inferior alveolar nerve block of 2% lidocaine HCl with 1:100,000 epinephrine. Twenty-two rats were randomly allocated to three groups: control group; without mandibular nerve block, experimental group 1; 2% lidocaine HCl, experimental group 2; 2% lidocaine HCl plus 1:100,000 epinephrine. The assessments were performed at 1-, 5-, 30-, 60-, 120-minute after inferior alveolar nerve block. Vessel diameters using the micrometer were measured and compared. Results showed that the increase in vascular constriction in group 3 was greater than those in groups 1 and 2. In conclusion, local anesthesia combined with epinephrine assures safer anesthesia for hemostasis.

$Medpor^{(R)}$(porous polyethylene) Surgical Implants are used for the augmentation or restoration of bony contour in craniofacial defects. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the ingrowth of soft tissue and bone after application in calvaria of rats. The experiment was carried out in 60 rats. The reflected periosteum was resutured after implantation of $Medpor^{(R)}$ as a experimental site, while in the calvarial bone the reflected periosteum resutured without implantation as a control site. The histologic examination was performed after 1-, 2-, 4-, 8-, 12-, 24-weeks implantation in calvaria of rats. I concluded that there was abundant ingrowth of soft tissue and bone without any adverse tissue response and that it shows good stability.

An extraction socket was preserved and reconstructed using an autogenous tooth bone graft powder and block in two patients. The grafted site was healed 3 to 3.5 months after surgery. Implant treatment was successfully completed.

Horner's syndrome as a complication of orthognathic surgery is given little attention of head and neck surgery and is a relatively benign and transient condition. A 18-year-old male referred to our department with long and anteriorly projected chin. The cephalometric evaluation revealed a skeletal Class III relationship. A 10-mm setback of the mandible to eliminate Class III relationship and 4-mm vertical reduction genioplasty were performed. Three weeks after operation, the patient was recognized anhidrosis in left face and the head, and ptosis of left eye. The trauma to cervical sympathetic nerve during left sagittal split ramus osteotomy was thought to be the cause of Horner's syndrome. Patient was treated by dermatologic and opthalmologic care. Follow-up examination 8 months later, he was recovery of horner's symptom.

A computer simulation program for the design of furnace witjin pakaged water-tube boilres is developed and the developed computer program is successfully applied to design the furnace for packaged water-tube boiler. The model by experiment and the model by Hottel are used to predict the exit gas temperature of furnace. The result by two models is discussed and is shown that in the case of constant cross section in furnace, the result is same but in changing the configuration of cross section, the difference by two models is not small.

현재 사용중인 Non-LOCA 해석용 인허가 코드들은 특정한 형태의 가압경수로에 맞게 짜여진 것들이어서 모든 형태의 가압경수로에 적용할 수 있는 범용 코드의 개발이 필요한 실정이다. 이를 위하여 한국원자력연구소에서는 웨스팅하우스 및 CE형 발전소에 공히 적용할 수 있는 과도현상 해석 코드인 TASS코드를 개발하고 있다. 이 TASS코드는 실시간보다 빠르게 핵증기계통에 대한 모의계산을 수행하며 대화식의 입출력을 통하여 사용자가 원하는 과도현상을 정확히 모사할 수 있다. 이 TASS코드의 웨스팅하우스형 발전소에 대한 적용타당성은 이미 검증되었으며, 본 논문에서는 CE형 발전소에 대하여 TASS 코드를 적용하여 Non-LOCA 인허가 해석을 하기위한 검증을 위해 주급수관 파단사고 및 주증기관 파단사고에 대하여 RELAP5/MOD3 코드와의 비교계산을 수행하였다.

단위성 의존명사는 수나 분량 따위를 나타내는 의존명사로 혼자 사용할 수 없으며 수사나 수관형사와 함께 사용하는 의존명사이다. 단위성 의존명사가 2가지 이상인 동형이의어의 경우 기존의 인접 어절을 이용한 동형이의어 분별 모델에서는 동형이의어 분별에 어려움이 있다. 본 논문에서는 단위성 의존명사 분별을 위해 단어 임베딩을 사용했으며 총 115,767개의 단어를 벡터로 표현하였으며 분별할 의존명사 주변에 등장한 명사들과의 유사도를 계산하여 단위성 의존명사를 분별하였다. 단어 임베딩을 이용한 단위성 의존명사 분별이 효과가 있음을 보았다.

As recently, ' International convention for the control and management of ship's ballast water and sediments ' was adopted, it is necessary to accept the international convention in Korea. The systems of foreign countries for ship's ballast water control and management were investigated, and domestic environment-related laws were reviewed and compared regarding the discharge of industrial wastewater and ship's ballast water. Alternative measures of domestic legislation were suggested for acceptance of the international convention.
