Professor Song criticizes my view on the Sleeping Beauty problem in his recent paper which endorses the thirder solution. I shall argue that his criticism is based upon a strong interpretation on my view and that this interpretation is neither unique nor proper. Critically examining recent discussions on observer-relativity of probability I shall claim that my perspectivistic solution to the Sleeping Beauty problem is still plausible.

Some Korean Philosophers has manifested their opinions on Sleeping Beauty problem. For example, Hasuk Song and Namjoong Kim stands for an thirder, while Hanseung Kim for a perspectivistic compatibilist. In order to fill a vacant position, I shall make an argument for halfers in this paper. My presumption is that the probability the question now given to sleeping beauty is the first question among several is greater than thirder's calculated value. Futhermore, I argue that the probability the coin landed heads on condition that the question now given to sleeping beauty is the first question is greater than 1/2.

Professor Hasuk Song argues that every argumentum ad ignorantiam, i.e. the argument from ignorance is not fallacious, and social contexts play a crucial role to judge whether the argument is fallacious or not. I generally agree with him, but I think we cannot have help from his position without knowing what those contexts are. In this paper, I argue that the concept of burden of proof is the crucial one to judge whether ad ignorantiam is plausible or not, and then present four criterions who have the burden of proof. There is a burden of proof on one who argues first, who insists the doubtful ones, who has powers, and who thinks that a situation is not dangerous.

이 논문은 포퍼의 후기 확률론인 성향적 확률론에 대한 것이다. 포퍼가 확률에 관한 성향이론을 제시한 가장 중요한 동기는 단일 사건에 확률값을 부여하기 위함이었다. 그의 성향이론은 전기와 후기로 나누어지는데, 전기의 이론은 성향을 반복가능한 조건들의 집합으로, 후기의 이론은 성향을 특정 시각에서의 우주의 상태로 설명한다. 이 글은 포퍼의 전기와 후기 성향이론이 성공적이지 않음을 논증한다. 전기 성향이론에 대해서는 가장 좁은 준거집합의 원리의 문제에 부딪혀서 단일 사건에 대하여 객관적인 확률값을 부여할 수 없기 때문이고, 후기 성향이론은 성향을 약한 인과라고 해석하는 문제와 함께 포퍼 자신의 의도와 달리 형이상학적인 이론이 되어버렸기 때문이다.

After Byeongdeok Lee(2008) argued against the so-called uncontested principle (UP), Song(2008) and Choi(2011) gave arguments against Lee(2008) and instead for UP. One important point to mention in their arguments is that they all accept that UP is justifiable in deduction. First, I show that there are some problems in their arguments. Next, I show that UP itself is not justifiable in deduction; it is only justifiable under some (restrictive) conditions.

확률에 관한 수학적 탐구가 시작된 18세기이래 다양한 확률에 관안 이론들이 등장하기 시작했다. 이렇게 다양한 확률 이론 중에서 가장 뒤늦게 제안되어 발전되어 온 주관주의 확률 이론을 소개하고 그 이론에 대한 평가를 시도하는 것이 이 논문의 목적이다. 주관주의 확률 이론은 램지에 의해서 제안되고 드 피네티와 새비지 등에 의해서 발전되어 왔는데, 그 이론의 핵심은 확률을 주관적인 믿음의 정도(degree of belief)로 파악하는 것이다. 이 이론은 다른 여러 가지 이론과 비교하여 많은 장점을 가짐에도 불구하고 몇 가지 문제점을 갖는다. 그 중에서도 기장 큰 문제점은 어떤 사건에 대한 객관적인 확률을 부정하는 것이다. 따라서 주관주의 이론에 대한 적절한 평가는 바로 이러한 문제점에 대해서 어떠한 대답이 주어질 수 있는가에 달려 있다고 할 수 있을 것이다. 드 피네티의 교환 기능한 확률(exchangeable probability)이리는 개념과 그와 관련된 표상정리(representation theorem)는 부분적으로 이러한 문제에 답하는 것처럼 보인다. 그러므로 필자는 이 논문에서 이러한 주관주의 확률 이론의 내용을 살펴보고 그에 대한 평가를 함으로써 주관주의 확률 이론이 갖는 의의를 논할 것이다.

이 논문은 부사어에 의해서 수신되는 행위 문장이 어떻게 논리적으로 분석되어야 하는가에 대한 데이빗슨의 주장을 비판적으로 검토하고자 한다. 데이빗슨은 행위 문장이 부사어에 수식될 때, 그 문장은 원래의 행위 문장에 의해서 함축됨을 보일 수 있도록 해석되어야 한다는 데 착안하여 자신의 사건 존재론을 근거로 행위 문장을 사건을 양화하는 문장으로 해석되어야 한다고 주장한다. 그러나 그러한 해석은 데이빗슨 자신이 의도한 목적을 충분히 충족시키지 못하고, 또한 행위 문장이 양화하는 사건이 문장 전체가 아닌 일부가 가리킨다는 반직관적인 주장이라는 점에서 불만스럽다. 그러나 무엇보다 데이빗슨의 해석이 갖는 문제점은 행위 문장을 수신하는 부사어의 용법이 다양함에도 불구하고 그러한 사실을 간과한 것이다. 따라서 이 글은 바와이즈와 페리에 의해서 제시된 상황 존재론에 의거하여 다양한 부사어에 대한 해석의 가능성을 제시하여, 부사어에 의해서 수식되는 행위 문장을 해석하는 몇 가지 방법을 제시한다.

A systematic construction and re-use of technology related to the product development and production has been the most important for the semiconductor industry dependent on process and equipment. Therefore, numerous outputs in the form of paper has been produced in the process of information management ranging from the creation to recycling and disposal of technologies. In this research, the technology and documents necessary for the business management in the field of semiconductor manufacturing were classified in an effort to solve problems while the modeling of document management architecture at the enterprise level was performed by properly setting up the security system to prevent the unauthorized disclosure of the product development technology to the third parties. Especially, the product and process specification are designed in such a way as to ensure a real-time response in interface with the production system in order to shorten the development lead-time and improve the productivity. This paper is to discuss the modeling approach, the strategy to construct the system and its results.

I take the position of the thirders on the sleeping beauty problem like Elga and criticize Lewisian halfers. In particular, I attack Franceschi's recent arguments for the halfers. In addition, I claim that Bostrom's and Kim's hybrid view is not satisfactory, because it is to pre-empt or to take the burden of proof that the problem is the genuine paradox. Consequently, the purpose of this paper is to show that the thirders' argument is more intuitive than others and what the fallacies of the halfer's arguments are.
