Fresnel lens-DCPC-concentrating solar cell-heat sink type solar module (Fresnel 렌즈-DCPC-집광형태양전지-방열판형 solar module에 관한 연구)

  • The concentrating solar module with high concentration ratio(320)has been studied.in this paper. The solar module was composed of the EMVJ solar cell, (Fresnel Lens-DCPC)concentrator and heat sink, and was measured by using the PASTF system. The experimental result and the result analysis for the individual item of the module were as f ollows; (1) The conversion efficiency of the module was 8.3%. (2) The optical efficiency of the concentrator was 46.5% (DCPC; 84.8%, Fresnel Lens; 54.8%). (3) The thermal loss of the solar cell was 4.9%. And methods for the further improvement of the concentrating solar module efficiency have been suggested.

  • The results of the first demonstrative project of photovoltaic power generation system for the remote islands (Hahwa-do, Jeon-nam Province) were reported. The optimum design of a 25 KWp PV system and a 5 KWp diesel backup system were discussed.

Surface Deterioration Phenomena in Polyethylene under Corona Discharge (Corona 방전에 의한 Polyethylene의 표면열화현상)

  • This study investigated the deterioration phenomena of the Polyethylene surface contaminated with organic(Saccharose) or inorganic(NaCl) matters through electrical and optical experiments. And also these experimental results relatively well coincided with which was treated by theoretical process. On the electrical experiment, relation between electric field intensity in corona discharge and time reached to the breakdown, and relation between total amount of charges discharged and increment of applied voltage were investigated. On the optical experiment, discharge time dependence of surface deterioration rate and process of surface deterioration in the X-ray diffraction pattern were investigated. It was concluded that chemical effects by the corona discharge deteriorated insulation characteristics of Polyethylene surface.

  • Thick films based on the mature crystalline silicon technology are expected to exhibit eversmaller cost reduction. The thin-film-based technology is, however, expected to exhibit a much sharper drop in cost as it develops. In this report, technology and recent R & D of thin film solar cell, such as amorphous silicon, cadnium telluride, copper indium diselenide and gallium arsenide, are described. Perspectives of world photovoltaic market and solar cell price are also described.

  • For the purpose of a the application of photovoltaics, we have studied about photovoltaic systems for maned lighthouses. The current status of manned lighthouses in Korea are reviewed and detailed descriptions of the 6.48 Kwp photovoltaic system on Heuksando island are described in this paper. And we have discussed about expected effects and problems of this system.

  • In this paper, instantaneous current tracking control inverter is applied to photovoltaic system and then optimum operating area is described by state space average method for optimum design of maximum output control. Also control system is realized by DSP and excellence of system shows the effectiveness of inverter system using the instantaneous control method.

  • 본 논문은 배터리 충방전 제어기를 가지는 독립형 태양광·풍력 복합발전시스템에 대해서 기술한다. 복합발전시스템의 주요 전력원은 일반적으로 태양전지 어레이, 풍력발전, 배터리로 구성된다. 태양광·풍력 복합발전시스템은 기상조건의 상호 보완성 때문에 풍력 또는 태양광을 단독으로 이용하는 것에 비해서 배터리 수요를 줄일 수 있으며, 자연에너지의 활용도를 높이는 장점이 있다. 제안된 복합발전시스템은 충방전 제어기가 포함되어 있어 태양전지 어레이의 최대출력에서 동작할 수 있도록 순시치 제어기로 설계하였다. 본 논문에서는 실험을 통하여 시스템의 동작특성을 검증하였다.
