  • 본 논문에서는 BLDC와 PI 제어기를 사용하여 전동기의 속도를 제어할 때 전차원 관측기를 적용하여 부하 토크를 추정 및 보상함으로써 속도 리플을 줄일 수 있는지를 검증하고자 하였다. 모터 구동 시에는 필연적으로 부하 토크가 외란으로 포함되며 그로 인해 제어대상인 속도에 리플을 야기하게 된다. 따라서 보다 안정적인 제어를 위해서는 이 외란을 보상해주는 것이 필요한데, 관측기를 이용하면 별도의 장비나 센서 없이 이 부하 토크를 효과적으로 보상해 줄 수 있다.

Improvement of Low Speed Stability of CMG Gimbal Using Full-pitch Distributed Winding (전절권 분포형 권선을 통한 제어모멘트자이로 김블의 저속 안정성 개선 연구)

  • The electromagnetic forces generate a torque on the gimbal motor, and changes in the coil current causes torque ripple. This affects the gimbals' speed and results to unstable satellite attitude. It is therefore essential to reduce the torque ripple of the gimble motor with the aim of improving the attitude control accuracy of the satellite. This paper theoretically analyzes the torque generated from the modeling of a motor for general concentrated winding and distributed winding. The prototype was designed and fabricated through selection of the winding that reduces the torque ripple through simulation results. The results of the magnetic fields' theoretical analysis and the back electromotive force of the prototype were compared with the calibrated results for verification of conformity and manufacture of the design. The low-speed test proved that the torque ripple is reduced by improving the speed stability.

  • This paper proposes the instantaneous source voltage and phase current control for torque ripple reduction of a high speed miniature BLDC motor. As compared with general BLDC motor, a high speed miniature BLDC motor has a fast electrical time-constant. So the current and torque ripple are very serious in a conventional PWM switching during conduction period. In order to reduce the switching current ripple, instantaneously controlled source voltage is supplied to the inverter system according to the motor speed and load torque. In addition, the fast hysteresis current controller can keep the phase current In the limited band. The proposed method is verified by the computer simulation and experimental results.

  • The ball shear force was investigated in terms of test parameters, i.e. displacement rate and probe height, with an experimental and non-linear finite element analysis for evaluation of the solder joint integrity in area array packages. The increase in the displacement rate and the decrease in the probe height led to the increase in the shear force. Excessive probe height could cause some detrimental effects on the test results such as unexpected high standard deviation and probe sliding from the solder ball surface. The low shear height conditions were favorable for assessing the mechanical integrity of the solder joints. The mechanical and electrical properties of the Sn-37Pb/Cu and Sn-3.5Ag/Cu BGA solder joints were also investigated with the number of reflows. The total thickness of the intermetallic compound (IMC) layers, consisting of Cu6Sn5 and Cu3Sn, was increased as a function of cubic root of reflow time. The shear force was increased up to 3 or 4 reflows, and then was decreased with the number of reflows. The fracture occurred along the bulk solder, in irrespective of the number of reflows. The electrical resistivity was increased with increasing the number of reflows.

  • 본 논문에서는 2상 하이브리드 스테핑 모터의 디텐트 토크 보상 기법을 제안하였다. 2상 하이브리드 스테핑 모터의 회전자 좌표계 d,q축 전압 방정식 및 토크 식으로부터 지령 토크 발생을 위해 필요한 d,q축 전류를 지령으로 사용하며, 디텐트 토크로 인해 발생하는 속도 리플을 제거하기 위해 리플 크기를 추출하여 전류지령에 보상하였다. Matlab/Simulink를 이용한 2상 하이브리드 스테핑 모터 구동 시뮬레이션을 통해 제안된 기법의 유효성을 확인하였다.

  • This paper presents the comparison results of some kinds of control method in circumstance of eccentric load. The plant to be controlled is a computed tomography(CT) driven by a permanent magnet synchronous motor. In a CT system, many units are attached on the rotationally part of a gantry such as x-ray tube, detector, heat exchanger, and data acquisition unit etc. Therefore keeping many components to balance which have different weight is not easy; this is inescapable problem in the all CT systems. To solve this problem against eccentric load, some kinds of control method have been compared and analysed by using protype CT. From the experimental results it is vilified that the CT drive system with model reference control method indicates higher speed regulation ability regardless of variable eccentric weight and uncertain position, and also in the limit condition of constant eccentric weight and fixed position, the compensation method with sinusoidal form is a strong candidate in view of speed ripple reduction.

  • 여러가지 Sn-Ag-Cu 솔더조성과 솔더링 후의 냉각속도에 따라 솔더링 접합부에서의 계면 미세조직의 다양한 변화를 관찰해 보았다. 현재까지 Sn-Ag-Cu 3원계 공정점에 대한 정확한 연구가 미흡하고, 상용으로 제품화되고 있는 Sn-Ag-Cu 합금계는 3원계 공정조성에서 약간 벗어난 조성들을 선택하고 있다고 할 수 있다. 따라서, 본 연구에서 사용한 Sn-Ag-Cu 합금 조성은 Sn-3.5Ag, Sn-3Ag-0.7Cu, Sn-3Ag-1.5Cu, Sn-3.7Ag-0.9Cu, Sn-6Ag-0.5Cu로 선택하였으며, 각 조성에서 Lap Shear Joint를 제조하였다. 사용한 Solder pad는 Cu pad와 Cu pad 위에 Au/Ni를 plating한 것을 이용하였다. 리플로우 솔더링 조건은 $250^{\circ}C$ 이상의 온도에서 60초 실시하였으며, 리플로우 솔더링 후의 냉각속도를 달리하여 냉각시켰다. 솔더링 후의 냉각속도가 느려질수록 계면 금속간화합물(IMC)의 두께가 더욱 증가하며, 조대화되었다. 또한 솔더 조성의 영향에서 Cu와 Ag의 함량이 높을수록 계면 IMC의 두께가 증가되었으며, 이는 솔더내부에 형성된 IMC 입자들이 조대화되어 계면 IMC층에 결합되어 나타났기 때문이다.

  • This paper describes the design of asynchronous adders based on carry selection and carry bypass techniques. The designs are faster than existing asynchronous adders which are based on ripple carry technique. It is caused by reducing the carry transfer time by using carry selection and carry bypass techniques. Also, the design uses tree structure to reduce the completion sensing time. The proposed adders are designed with CMOS domino logic and experimented with HSPICE simulator. Experimental results show that the proposed adders can be faster about 50% in average cases than previous ripple carry adders.

  • 독립형 연료전지 전력변환 시스템에서 인버터는 출력주파수의 2배 성분의 리플을 가지고 있기 때문에 직류버스 전압에도 이 주파수 성분이 존재하게 된다. 이 리플 전류는 연료전지의 수명과 효율을 저하시키므로 제어기를 통해 줄여야 한다. 최근 특성비 지정법을 이용하여 해석적으로 기어기를 설계하는 방법이 제안되었다. 해석적인 방법으로 연료전지 인버터의 제어기를 설계한다. 이 제어기는 부하 변동에 대해서 응답속도가 빠르며 120 Hz 리플에 강인함을 확인한다.

  • In this paper, a new current control algorithm is proposed for four-switch three-phase brushless DC(BLDC) motor drives, which are suitable for low cost applications. A current reference generation scheme is developed and implemented to obtain high performance characteristics in the four-switch system, such as small torque ripple and fast dynamic speed/torque response. Especially, the proposed scheme can successfully reduce the torque ripple during commutations, so that it can be expected that the four-switch system can be much more practically applied for the industrial application areas.
