Analytic Calculation Method of Zoom Loci for Zoom Lens System with Infinite Object Distance (무한물점용 줌 렌즈 광학계의 줌 궤적에 대한 해석적 계산법)

  • In case of the optical camera system with an infinite object distance, optical designs different from previous systems are required to speed up the auto-focus. As the number of lens groups is increased due to this, the conventional analytic method found it difficult to calculate the locus, and even the one-step advanced calculation method also had the trouble of taking a lot of time. In this paper, we suggested an analytic method for calculating the zoom loci by analyzing movement of one or two groups for situations corresponding to the given back focal length and effective focal length after taking a spline interpolation for each lens group. With this method, we would not only calculate the analytic zoom loci without iterations in every optical system without placing a limit on the group number at the zoom lens systems with the infinite object distance, but we would also show the utilities of this method through many examples.

Lane-wise Travel Speed Characteristics Analysis in Uninterrupted Flow Considering Lane-wise Speed Reversal (차로속도역전현상을 고려한 연속류 도로의 차로별 주행 속도 특성 분석)

  • In this study, lane-wise traffic flow characteristics were analysed on uninterrupted flow using a new notion of "lane-wise travel speed reversal (LTSR)" which is defined as a phenomena that travel speed in the median lane is lower than other lanes. Mathematical formulation was also proposed to calculate the strength of LTSR. The experiment road site is Seoul Outer Ring Expressway (Jayuro-IC~Jangsoo-IC), and travel trajectories for each four lane were collected for weekdays (Mon. through Fri.) during morning peak. Comparing lane-wise travel speeds for entire test road section, no LTSR was observed, meaning that the travel speed in the median lane is the fastest, followed by 2nd, 3rd, and 4th lane as in order. Howerver, the result of microscopic analysis using 100-meter discrete road section based data shows that LTSR occurs many times. Especially the strength of LTSR is higher in congestion area and freeway merge and diverge segment. It is expected that these results could be used as a fundamental data when establishing lane-by-lane traffic operation strategy and developing lane-wise traffic information collection and dissemination technology.

  • Animation works have been peformed by the objective sensitivity and experience so far. Software designs have been also manufactured based on intelligent data because they are easy to objectify and digitalize. In contrast, there are many elements, which human senses are hard to objectify and digitalize. This study investigates how to digitalize and objectify human senses and how to use them as the quantitative data and its subject is a flying path. In the experiment, this study collects some sensitive words for how human beings express the living path. The evaluation words for sensitivity through the collected sensitive words are extracted and the sketch images for the flying path are collected from the extracted evaluation words for sensitivity. Based on the collected sketch images, the samples of real moving image, which are the core of this study, are manufactured. Then, quantification theory III and I are used in order to analyze the correlation between the sensitive words representing the flying path and the samples of moving image. As a result, this study can figure out the structure of sensitive words and the samples of moving image and analyze the physical stimulating elements for the flying path. The flying path corresponds to the path that the object has passed. Some unique sensitive words are expressed by means of interacting some sensitive stimulating elements after looking at such a path. There are some elements that stimulate the senses and they include the physical elements such as speed, rotation, pattern and length of arc. The purpose of this study is to objectify and quantify the animation works that are created by animators' subjective thought and experience and to use them in animation works in the future.

Random Forest Method and Simulation-based Effect Analysis for Real-time Target Re-designation in Missile Flight (유도탄의 실시간 표적 재지정을 위한 랜덤 포레스트 기법과 시뮬레이션 기반 효과 분석)

  • The study of air defense against North Korean tactical ballistic missiles (TBM) should consider the rapidly changing battlefield environment. The study for target re-designation for intercept missiles enables effective operation of friendly defensive assets as well as responses to dynamic battlefield. The researches that have been conducted so far do not represent real-time dynamic battlefield situation because the hit probability for the TBM, which plays an important role in the decision making process, is fixed. Therefore, this study proposes a target re-designation algorithm that makes decision based on hit probability which considers real-time field environment. The proposed method contains a trajectory prediction model that predicts the expected trajectory of the TBM from the current position and velocity information by using random forest and moving window. The predicted hit probability can be calculated through the trajectory prediction model and the simulator of the intercept missile, and the calculated hit probability becomes the decision criterion of the target re-designation algorithm for the missile. In the experiment, the validity of the methodology used in the TBM trajectory prediction model was verified and the superiority of using the hit probability through the proposed model in the target re-designation decision making process was validated.

Introduction to Chang'e-3 and Analysis of Estimated Mission Trajectory (창어 3호 개요 및 임무궤적 추정결과 분석)

  • Chang'e-3 consisting of a lunar lander and exploration rover was launched on December 1, 2013 aboard a Long March 3B rocket flying from Xichang space launch center. Chang'e-3 was inserted into the lunar orbit after about a 5-day transit to the Moon and landed on the targeted landing site after orbiting around the Moon for 8 days. The successful landing of the Chang'e-3 gives a lot of help to analyze the future needs of the subsystem technologies and to figure out the trajectory from launch to lunar landing as well as operation sequences in the development of Korean lunar exploration is scheduled. Therefore, the configuration and analysis of overall mission of Chang'e-3 is performed based on the public information from the press and website. As a result, overall mission trajectory is reconstructed by solving boundary condition and then estimating control variable. Visibility status and eclipse status also analyzes so communication and power charge condition is as good as to operate lunar lander. Mass budget of the lander is derived using ${\Delta}V$ according to specific impulse.

Development of Multi-Body Dynamics Simulator for Bio-Mimetic Motion in Lizard Robot Design (도마뱀 로봇 설계를 위한 생체운동 모사 다물체 동역학 시뮬레이터 개발)

  • In this study, a multibody simulator was developed to analyze the bio-mimetic motion of a lizard robot design. A RecurDyn multibody dynamics model of a lizard was created using a micro-computerized tomography scan and motion capture data. The bio-mimetic motion simulator consisted of a trajectory generator, an inverse kinematics module, and an inverse dynamics module, which were used for various walking motion analyses of the developed lizard model. The trajectory generation module produces spinal movements and gait trajectories based on the lizard's speed. Using the joint angle history from an inverse kinematic analysis, an inverse dynamic analysis can be carried out, and the required joint torques can be obtained for the lizard robot design. In order to investigate the effectiveness of the developed simulator, the required joint torques of the model were calculated using the simulator.

  • 이 논문에서는 CNC 머시닝 센터의 두 서보축을 대상으로 가공정밀도를 유지하면서 최고의 이송속도로 가공 속도를 증가시키는 퍼지 제어 기법을 제안한다. 또한 기존의 오차 모델링 방식이 아닌 비선형 궤적에서도 적용이 가능한 최근의 윤곽오차 모델을 사용한다. 퍼지 소속함수의 입력 변수가 허용 오차에 따라 스케링되고 이송속도와 윤곽오차와의 관계를 퍼지제어룰에 기초하여 허용 오차안에서 매 시간마다 보다 빠른 이송속도를 찾는다. 모의 실험 결과들이 제안한 방법이 기존의 고정된 이송속도를 사용하는 방법과 유사한 윤곽오차를 보이면서도 빠른 가공을 할 수 있음을 보여준다.

Kinematic Design of A Multi-Purpose Digger (다목적 굴취기의 기구학적 설계)

  • 본 연구에서는 간단한 조작을 통하여 작물의 특성에 따라 진동방향을 조절 가능하게 함으로써 물리적 성질이 서로 다른 감자, 고구마, 마늘, 양파, 생강 등 거의 모든 뿌리작물의 수확에 이용할 수 있는 다목적 굴취기를 기구학적으로 설계하고, 뿌리작물 굴취기의 성능에 영향을 미치는 진폭, 진동수, 작업속도를 변화시킬 때 각각의 조합에 있어서 굴취판상의 특정한 점들의 운동궤적을 분석하고 이에 기초하여 굴취기의 설계변수와 작업에서의 설정변수 를 결정하고자 하였으며, 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1) 작업위치에 따라 굴취판 뒷부분(선별부)의 진동방향 조절이 가능하기 때문에 진동방향을 조절하면 물리적 성질이 서로 다른 감자, 고구마 마늘, 양파 등 거의 모든 뿌리작물의 수확에 이용할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다. 2) 굴취판의 궤적분석결과 진폭이 3mm일 때에는 캠 축의 회전속도와 작업속도에 관계없이 굴취작업이 불가능할 것으로 판단되었다. 진폭이 6mm일 때에는 작업속도 1.08km/hr에서 캠 축의 회전속도가 841rpm 이상이면 굴취작업이 가능할 것으로 판단되었고, 작업속도 2.16km/hr이상에는 굴취작업이 불가능할 것으로 판단되었다. 진폭이 9mm일 때에는 작업속도 1.08km/hr에서 작업할 때 사용한 캠축의 회전속도에 관계없이 굴취작업이 모두 잘 이루질 것으로 판단되었고, 작업속도 2.16km/hr에서는 캠축의 회전속도가 995rpm 일 경우에만 굴취작업이 가능할 것으로 판단되었으며, 작업속도 3.24km/hr에서는 작업위치나 캠축의 회전속도에 관계없이 모두 굴취작업이 불가능한 것으로 사료된다. 3) 작업속도를 1.08km/hr 이상으로 하려면 소요동력의 관점에서 볼 때 진폭은 크게하고 진동수는 작게 하는 것이 유리하기 때문에 진폭을 9mm이상 취하는 것이 바람직할 것으로 사료된다.회로 가장 많이 발생하였으며, 다음으로 밀양과 나주지역이 29회, 김제지역이 28회 등으로 많은 발생빈도를 보였다.생시 진화방법의 개발 등에 대한 기본data로서의 역할을 충분히 할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다. 평가되었다.us에 대하여 높은 것으로 나타났다.bangular에서 subrounded에 해당한다. 이러한 현저한 차이를 보이는 이유는 남극적 빙하성 환경 조건과 이 지역의 해양 퇴적학적 특성에 그 원인이 있다고 해석된다.ea.   • The objective of this paper is to evaluate most useful feature vector space using the angle, velocity and location features from gesture trajectory which extracted hand regions from consecutive input images and track them by connecting their positions. For this purpose, the gesture tracking algorithm using color and motion information is developed. The recognition module is a HMM model to adaptive time various data. The proposed algorithm was applied to a database containing 4,800 alphabetical handwriting gestures of 20 persons who was asked to draw his/her handwriting gestures five times for each of the 48 characters.

  • 유비쿼터스와 로봇 제어기술이 융합하여 상호작용 하면서 로봇 기술이 빠르게 발전하고 있다. 그 중 인간의 생각과 행동을 대신 해주는 서비스 로봇인 휴머노이드 로봇에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 본 연구는 휴머노이드 로봇을 이용하여 초상화를 실시간으로 빨리 그리는 새로운 기법과 그 기법을 적용하는 소프트웨어 시스템을 제안한다. 이때 사람을 인지하는 것, 종이위에서 붓(펜)이 움직이는 궤적과 속도를 제어하는 기술이 핵심이다. 더욱이 유비쿼터스 환경에서 중요한 컨트롤 포인트로 인식되고 있는 모바일 기기를 이용한 로봇 제어 기술도 계획 중이다. 본 과제에서는 로봇의 궤적을 최적화 하여 드로잉 속도를 빠르게 하고, 더 부드럽고 자연스러운 초상화를 드로잉 하며 실시간과 적응성을 높인다.
