  • In this paper, the technology and capabilities required for the job of developing security software recommended by the Cybersecurity Human Resources Development Framework of the National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE) were studied. In this paper, we describe what security skills are needed for the task of developing security software and what security capabilities should be held. The focus of this paper is to analyze the consistency between security technologies (core and specialized technologies) required for security software development tasks and the curriculum of information protection-related departments located in Seoul, Korea. The reason for this analysis is to see how the curriculum at five universities in Seoul is suitable for performing security software development tasks. In conclusion, if the five relevant departments studied are to intensively train developers of development tasks for security software, they are commonly required to train security testing and software debugging, how secure software is developed, risk management, privacy and information assurance.

  • Estimation of software project cost, effort and duration in the early stage of software development cycle is a difficult and key problem in software engineering. Most of models estimate the development effort using the function point that is measured from the requirement specification. This paper presents optimal team size and duration prediction based on function point in order to provide information that can be used as a guide in selecting the most Practical and productive team size for a software development project. We introduce to productive metrics and cost for decision criteria of ideal team size and duration. The experimental is based on the analysis of 300 development and enhancement software project data. These data sets are divide in two subgroups. One is a development project; the other is a maintenance project. As a result of evaluation by productivity and cost measured criteria in two subgroups, we come to the conclusion that the most successful projects has small teams and minimum duration. Also, I proposed that predictive model for team sire and duration according to function point size based on experimental results. The presented models gives a criteria for necessary team site and duration according to the software size.

  • Team collaboration is becoming commonplace and it is spotlighted in agile software development projects as well. More efficient teamwork in terms of effective team operation and project performance is very important. Heuristic software development staffing method has been used, but algorithm approach is needed to compensate for it. In this paper, we propose a mathematical approaches for staffing developers in teamwork-based software development projects. This consist of six process, and activities in each processor is defined as a mathematical function placement, and functional deployment matrix is used. A case study is presented in order to prove the usefulness of this approach. This paper is a significant research because a mathematical approach of work assignment is developed for human resources by quantitative logic and it deviate from intuitive or heuristic methods used previously.
