Support for ARINC 653 Processes over Linux-based Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (리눅스 기반의 무인항공기를 위한 ARINC 653 프로세스 지원)

  • The software running on avionic systems is required to be highly reliable and productive. Due to these demands, the standard such as ARINC 653 has been suggested, which includes the abstraction of resource partitioning and defines interfaces between avionic operating system and applications. Though there are many manned aerial vehicles employing ARINC 653 based operating systems, Linux-based ARINC 653 for unmanned aerial vehicles has not been studied yet. In this paper, we propose the design of Linux-based ARINC 653 process model and present preliminary implementation. The experiment results present that the implementation is enough to support control software of unmanned helicopter.

Bayesian Computation for Superposition of MUSA-OKUMOTO and ERLANG(2) processes (MUSA-OKUMOTO와 ERLANG(2)의 중첩과정에 대한 베이지안 계산 연구)

  • A Markov Chain Monte Carlo method with data augmentation is developed to compute the features of the posterior distribution. For each observed failure epoch, we introduced latent variables that indicates with component of the Superposition model. This data augmentation approach facilitates specification of the transitional measure in the Markov Chain. Metropolis algorithms along with Gibbs steps are proposed to preform the Bayesian inference of such models. for model determination, we explored the Pre-quential conditional predictive Ordinate(PCPO) criterion that selects the best model with the largest posterior likelihood among models using all possible subsets of the component intensity functions. To relax the monotonic intensity function assumptions, we consider in this paper Superposition of Musa-Okumoto and Erlang(2) models. A numerical example with simulated dataset is given.

Development of vision system for the character recognition of the billet image (빌렛영상에 포함된 문자인식을 위한 비전시스템 개발)

  • This paper describes the developed results of vision system for the recognition of material management characters, which was included in the billet image. The material management characters, which was marked at the surface of billet, should be recognized before billet moves to the next process. Our vision system for the character recognition includes that CCD camera system which acquire billet image, optical transmission system which transmit captured image to the long distance, input and output system for the interface with existing system and software for the character recognition. We have installed our vision system at the wire rod line of steel & iron plant and tested. Also, we have performed inspection of durability, reliability and recognition rate. Through the testing, we have confirmed that our system have high recognition rate, 98.6%.

  • 이 논문에서는 유전밴드 영상신호에 포함되어 있는 지형적 특징을 이용하여 밝기의 변화가 일정하지 않은 유전밴드를 인식하는 방법을 연구하였다. 유전밴드는 동일인을 식별하는데 있어서 지문보다 높은 신뢰성을 가지고 있으므로, 유전밴드 영상에서 유전밴드의 유무와 위치를 자동적으로 검출하는 것은 매우 중요하다. 레인내의 밝기의 변화가 일정한 유전밴드는 미분연산자에 의해 검출할 수 있지만, 밝기의 변화가 일정하지 않은 레인내의 유전밴드는 일반적인 인식방법에 의해서는 검출하기 어렵다. 따라서 유전밴드 영상으로부터 지형적 특징을 추출하고, 이것으로부터 계산한 곡률(curvature)의 크기에 의해 유전밴드를 인식함으로써 레인의 밝기가 변화하는 경우에도 효과적으로 인식하였다.Abstract This paper presents recognition of DNA band using the topographical features of DNA band images. The DNA band provides a more reliable way of identification than fingerprints. Recognition based on differentiation operators can easily detect the DNA band if the brightness of lane in the image is almost uniform. When the brightness of the lane changes gradually, the DNA bands are hard to be recognized. Using the curvature magnitude of the lane computed from topographic features extracted from DNA images, the DNA bands are efficiently recognized in the lane whose brightness changes.

  • COTS system is increasingly seen as one of the main jobs of reuse development. It involves reliability of COTS that might affect the project schedule or the quality of the software being developed and taking action to avoid these risks. The results of the COTS analysis should be documented in the project plan along with an analysis of the attribute and operation. Effective risk management makes it easier to cope with problems and to ensure that these do not lead to unacceptable budget or schedule slippage. This research provides criteria of analysis of risk items to the estimation of process milestone on COTS development.

  • RFID는 국가 신성장 동력 분야로서 미래 성장성이 매우 클 것으로 예상되며, 이미 물류관리 등 다양한 분야에 활용되고 있다. 그러나 RFID리더의 인식률은 95%~98%대에 머무르고 있어, 오 인식된 2%~5%의 처리를 위하여 많은 시간과 자본이 투입되어야 하는 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 하드웨어의 인식률의 한계를 극복하고 보다 정교한 인식시스템을 구축할 수 있도록 화상인식을 통해 사물의 개수를 파악하는 기술을 RFID기술에 접목한 융합 시스템을 제안하고자 한다. 구체적으로는 RFID 리더기를 통해 물품의 개수를 파악하고, 이와 더불어 화상인식 기술을 이용하여 사물의 개수를 파악한다. 이때 두 개의 서로 다른 방법으로 인식한 사물의 개수를 비교하여, 동일하면 그 인식 결과를 신뢰하고, 그렇지 않은 경우 RFID전파의 출력세기 및 카메라 촬영각도 등을 보정하여 RFID 인식률을 향상시키는 것이다. 본 논문에서는 현재 개발이 진행 중인 이 시스템의 구성, 상호연동 알고리즘 및 구현방법에 대해 설명하고자 한다.

  • In the middle and late period of MMORPG, as more and more time and energies are repeatedly consumed due to Grinding, it is easy for the players to feel bored and quit the game. This paper mainly studies the differences in preferences of four types of players for MMORPG grinding types. Apart from that, SPSS software is used to make descriptive analysis, credibility analysis, and one-way analysis of variance on the 200 survey sample data. Based on the content of the experimental results, this study proposes an optimized design plan for MMORPG grinding from the perspective of player tendency.

  • Internet of Things(IoT) is a technology or environment that collects data by attaching sensors to objects and transmits the collected information to each other through wired / wireless communication in real time. It is expected that when the Internet of objects is activated, many objects can identify and recognize each other by themselves and provide various services to facilitate our lives through mutual information exchange. In addition, the internet market for things is growing rapidly each year, and various IT technologies are expected to converge. In the Internet environment of objects, data exchange technology between object devices, that is, message protocol, is classified as one of important technologies. In this paper, we examine various lightweight message protocols suitable for the Internet environment of objects, and compare the reliability of the CoAP protocol structure with the MQTT protocol for a limited environment. Finally, we confirm the reliability of TCP / TLS and WebSockets-based CoAP transmission protocol of IETF's CoRE WG that can use various transport layers other than UDP in Internet environment including cloud infrastructure.

A Study on the Property Analysis of Software Reliability Model with Shape Parameter Change of Finite Fault NHPP Erlang Distribution (유한고장 NHPP 어랑분포의 형상모수 변화에 따른 소프트웨어 신뢰성 모형의 속성 분석에 관한 연구)

  • Software reliability has the greatest impact on computer system reliability and software quality. For this software reliability analysis, In this study, we compare and analyze the trends of the properties affecting the reliability according to the shape parameters of Erlang distribution based on the finite fault NHPP. Software failure time data were used to analyze software failure phenomena, the maximum likelihood estimation method was used for parameter estimation. As a result, it can be seen that the intensity function is effective because it shows a tendency to decrease with time when the shape parameters a = 1 and a = 3. However, the pattern of the mean value function showed an underestimation pattern for the true values when the shape parameters a = 1 and a = 2, but it was found to be more efficient when a = 3 because the error width from the true value was small. Also, in the reliability evaluation of the future mission time, the stable and high trend was shown when the shape parameters a = 1 and a = 3, but on the contrary, when a = 2, the reliability decreased with the failure time. Through this study, the property of finite fault NHPP Erlang model according to the change of shape parameter without existing research case was newly analyzed, and new research information that software developers can use as basic guideline was presented.

Development of Railway Vibration Evaluation System Using Actual Railway Vibration Database (실측 철도 진동 데이터베이스를 이용한 철도진동 평가 시스템 개발)

  • Recently, it is necessary to develop a technology for quantitatively evaluating railway vibration to prevent civil complaints about orbital structures caused by railway noise and normal operation of ultra-precise equipment of orbital industrial complexes. The existing analytical method requires a very complicated dynamic response model, and it is difficult to secure the reliability of the result due to the inaccuracy of the demand model. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a railway vibration evaluation algorithm and system that deduce the vibration value generated from railway operation by using Linear Regression and Gradient Descent technique based on actual measurement railway vibration database that classifies factors affecting railway vibration. The prediction results obtained by the proposed algorithm show higher efficiency and accuracy than the existing analytical methods.
