호안을 보호하기 위해 테트라포드(TTP)로 대표되는 소파블록이 항만, 어촌 어항지역 등 해안 전역에 걸쳐 사용되고 있다. 하지만 친수활동의 증가로 테트라포드에서의 해안안전사고가 증가하고 있으며, 테트라포드가 가지는 형태적, 색상적 특성으로 인해 안전, 경관, 환경 측면에서 심각한 문제를 일으키고 있어 보다 안전한 친수활동 공간을 제공할 수 있으며 해안경관을 향상시킬 수 있는 소파블록 디자인 개발이 시급하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 현재 사용되고 있는 소파블록의 문제점을 분석하고 국내외 기술개발 현황을 바탕으로 소파블록 디자인 개선사항을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of Korean sofa design in 2013 and understand the change of it in comparison with the characteristics of sofa in 2001. For the sake of it, this study analyzed the styles, forms, materials, colors and composition of 220 sofas posted on 7 main furniture companies' internet homepage of Korea, and used the results of the previous study for the materials in 2001. As the results of analysis, the style of furniture was almost modern and there was much of lineal in the form of sofa, rather than curved. The percentage of using leather for main material of sofa was greatly increased compared with 2001. In case of minor material, there was difference in each company in percentage of using wood and metal. The use of brown color was greatly increased compared with 2001, and the diversification of color use was reduced. The percentage of using a single color gets increased compared with 2001, but the cases of strong contrast were more than that of weak contrast. The percentage of sofa for 3 people gets lowered compared with 2001, and the case of sofa for 4 people gets greatly increased. In case of auxiliary component, the use of couch and stool, which were almost not used in 2001, gets more increased than sofa for single, with many cases of using the corner, though small. In conclusion, the characteristics of Korean sofa design are diversification of the sofa configuration, the tendency of high-quality sofa, and simplification and concentration of the sofa design.

최근 건축물에서 공동주택의 비율이 증가하고 있으며 동시에 공동주택의 화재비율도 증가하는 경향을 보이고 있다. 또한 화재 시 인명 피해의 주원인인 가연물은 소재가 다양화되고 있으나 안정성 보다는 디자인, 기능성에 치중되어 그에 따른 화재 위험성도 커져가고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 전보의 실내장식물에 이어 공동주택에서 많이 사용되어지는 적재가연물을 가연물 조사를 바탕으로 선정하여 Furniture Calorimeter를 이용해 그 연소특성을 알아보았다. 그 결과, 소파가 타 시료에 비해 화재 시 높은 위험성을 나타냈으며, 일본건축학회에 발표된 데이터와 비교한 결과 소파의 데이터가 유사한 것으로 나타났다.

Smart-textronics technology which enables functional textiles has recently been applied in various fields such as smart clothes, smart home and smart health care, and a variety of smart-textronics products have been developed. In this context, the smart-textronics product development process is proposed based on the systematic participatory design method in this paper. The proposed method consists of two phases: in-depth interviews and analyzing. In the phase of in-depth interviews, participants are asked to create journey maps that include activities, pain points and emotional status and to generate solution ideas with sketches and simple prototypes. In the analyzing phase, design researchers investigate the participants' journey maps, and create personas by identifying critical characteristics with the behavior pattern analysis. Then, each persona's needs are linked with value elements of the E3 value framework. Finally, pre-survey was conducted to identify smart-textronics market and a smart sofa design is proceeded as the case study to show the applicability of the proposed method.

This study was carried out for the Centum Shinsegae Department Store, to grasp the indoor rest space and furniture design status, this study analyzes the characteristics of visitors' use behavior centered on furniture. The purpose of this study is to provide basic data for commercial rest space design by understanding the characteristics of resting space in commercial space and whether the furniture can support the behavior of visitors. The research method is to carry out on-site inspection, including the location of the rest space on each floor, the type and design characteristics of the furniture design, and the characteristics and patterns of the users on each were analyzed. The results of the study are as follows. As a result of analyzing the rest space and furniture, the furniture is brown, it has been provided with various designs such as fan-shaped, arched bench, sofa, chair type, and comfortable colors of lightness ranging from light gray to black, and appropriately supported the most common usage patterns.However, in the case of Shinsegae Department Store, it is necessary to consider the safety and convenience of the vulnerable groups.

In today's aging society, stable residential environment is essential for the elderly living alone to be able to do activities of daily living without restrictions and cherish a satisfactory quality of life. We developed a safe and convenient multifunctional sofa by removing complex combinations and decomposing processes of the multifunctional transformable furniture, appropriate for the use by elderly living alone. We deduced the 4 main keywords and details related to the purpose of sofa by analyzing the users' physical and mental characteristics through literature review and by using 24-hour scheduling, interviews, and actual measurement. Finally, by applying this to furniture planning, we designed 4 different types of multifunctional sofa system. Production was done in cooperation with AND Co. for 2 weeks using materials, colors and adhesives selectively chosen with careful consideration of their effects on the physical, mental aspects of the user to give optimal comfortability.
