Development of Vibration Diagnosis System for Rotating Machinery Onboard Ships (선내 회전장비의 이상진동 진단 시스템 개발)

  • In this study, the vibration diagnosis program for onboard machinery has been developed. The developed program includes signal monitoring module, system diagnosis module, and system modification module. The signal monitoring module is to monitor the vibration signal in time and frequency domains. And the system diagnosis module, which is developed by using Neural Network with error back propagation algorithm, can detect the abnormal symptom indicating the malfunction of the machinery onboard ships. The investigations of the developed system are presented through the experiment using Rotor Kit. Abnormal vibration signals are created by adding additional weight, manually misaligning the shaft, and loosening the bolts.

  • There are many methods in feature extraction have been developed. Recently, principal components analysis (PCA) and independent components analysis (ICA) is introduced for doing feature extraction. PCA and ICA linearly transform the original input into new uncorrelated and independent features space respectively In this paper, the feasibility of using nonlinear feature extraction will be studied. This method will employ the PCA and ICA procedure and adopt the kernel trick to nonlinearly map the data into a feature space. The goal of this study is to seek effectively useful feature for faults classification.

  • The paper is an outline of development of vibration troubleshooting database on Web Browser which has been able to connect with the Internet. When the vibration trouble have occurred in industrial field, most important matter is that how to solve it. We expect it effective to solve the matter to develop a case base system.   • In this paper, we analyzed the characteristic of the broken section for bolts fastening the generator casing, and according to the frequency analysis, we grasped the characteristic of the excited force, traced the path of the exciting source so that we examined a factor of transient vibration of the generator casing. Even if it appears transient vibration again, we applied spring washer and more tensile bolt to the casing to minimize the fracture. By solving troubles of the generator rotor, we reduced the vibration amplitude to the normal condition. So we obtain much more the reliablility of the generator.

  • For successful guided-wave damage inspection, the appropriate signal processing of measured wave signals is very important. The objective of this paper is to introduce an efficient signal processing technique especially suitable for the guided-waves used for damage detection. The key idea of this technique is to model guided-waves by chirp functions of special form considering the dispersion phenomenon. To determine the parameter of the chirp functions simulating guided-waves, the matching pursuit algorithm is employed. The damage information in waveguides can be extracted by pulse-characterizing parameters. The effectiveness of present method is checked with the longitudinal wave-based damage inspection.

  • This paper characterizes the electromechanical parameters due to the fault of rotor bars in a squirrel cage induction motor. Simulation is performed to investigate how broken rotor bars have effect on them by solving the time-stepping finite element equation coupled with magnetic field equation, circuit equation and mechanical equation of motion. It shows that the asymmetry of magnetic flux due to the broken rotor bar introduces the beating phenomenon in time domain and the sideband frequencies in frequency spectra, respectively, to the stator current, torque, speed, magnetic force and vibration of a rotor. However, vibration of a rotor would be the most effective monitoring parameters to detect the faults of rotor bars.

  • 이 연구의 목적은 비침투적으로 펌프의 유량을 알아내고, 이를 이용하여 펌프의 성능을 감시하는데 있다. 그리고 운전중인 펌프의 상태를 감시함으로써 펌프의 결함을 진단하는데 있다. 위 목적을 달성하기 위하여 본 연구에서는 비침투적으로 측정이 가능한 변수인 모터 토크와 회전속도를 이용하여 펌프의 성능을 예측할 때 필수석인 유량을 알아내는 Simulator를 개발하였다. 유량의 변화를 감시함으로써 펌프의 성능 변화를 감시하는 일반적인 방법을 적용하면 펌프의 성능을 효율적이며 경제적으로 감시를 하는데 이용할 수 있다.

  • The early damage detection of large structures is very important to prevent the disaster due to its global failure. In this paper, a damage detection method of the beam-analogy structure based on the wavelet transformation of mode shape is presented. This can effectively detect the singularity of mode shape caused to the inconsistency of bending moment and shear force at the damaged part using the discrete wavelet and its inverse transforms. To investigate the validity and the applicability of the presented damage detection method, numerical simulation and experiment are carried out for the idealized beam and the real ship structures.

  • 회전 기기의 이상으로 인하여 발생하는 진동은 축 회전속도의 고주파 성분 (super-harmonic)이나 또는 분수조파 성분(sub-harmonic)으로 나타나는 경 우가 대부분이기 때문에 회전기기의 진동을 주파수 영역에서 해석함에 있어 파워 스펙트럼의 주파수 축을 Hz로 나타내기보다는 축 회전속도의 order로 써 나타내는 것이 매우 유용하다. 스펙트럼을 order로써 나타내기 위해서는 샘플링 시간을 축 회전속도와 동기(synchronization)시켜야 하는데 이 방법으 로는 회전축에 엔코더(encorder)를 부착하여 엔코더에서 발생하는 펄스 신호 를 이용하여 샘플링하는 방법과 order tracking 필터를 이용하는 방법이 있 다. 그러나 전자의 방법은 원하는 회전축마다 엔코더를 부착하여야 하며 경 우에 따라서는 엔코더를 부착하기가 어려운 경우도 있으며, 회전기기의 운전 개시나 종료시처럼 회전속도가 급격히 변화하는 경우에는 낮은 주파수에서 중첩(aliasig)에 의한 오차가 수반될 수도 있다. 후자의 방법은 order tracking 필터 이외에도 여러 부수장비가 필요하며 기준 주파수(즉 회전속 도)가 급격히 변화하는 경우 PLL(phase locked loop)에서 tracking 오차가 발생된다. 최근에 발표된 논문에서 일정한 시간간격으로 샘플링한 데이터들 로부터 신호를 재합성하여 회전축의 속도와 동기가 되도록 재 샘플링함으로 서 스펙트럼의 주파수를 회전속도의 order로써 나타내는 방법을 제시하였다. 그러나 위 논문에서는 신호의 재합성에 필요한 재합성 필터(reconstruction filter)의 설계 방법에 대하여 구체적인 언급이 없이 다만 결과만을 논하였다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 재합성 필터의 설계 방법에 대하여 구체적인 방법을 제시하고 또한 동기화 샘플링의 장점 및 고려 사항에 대하여 고찰하였다. 고려한 능동 소음제어 에 대해 연구하였다. 경량화 추세에 따라 지반이나 케이싱이 경량이거나 유연하여 회전축과 동적으로 연성된 경우 회전축-베어링-지반으로 이루어진 2중구조의 회전축 계 동특성을 해석할 수 있는 프로그램을 개발하므로서 회전 기계류의 진동 전반에 걸친 문제점에 대한 그 원인과 현상을 명확히 분석하여 국내의 전기 계류의 보다 신뢰성있는 설계 및 제작자료를 확보하는데 기여할 수 있게 하 였다.존의 small molecular Gd-chelate에 비해 매우 큼을 알 수 있었다. Analysis of Inter-Questionnaire Agreement in Determining Sasang Constitution (설문지(設問紙)에 의한 사상체질(四象體質) 판정(判定)의 일치도(一致度) 분석(分析))

  • 1. Background and Purpose : Sasang Constitutional medicine is baon dividing individuals' constitutions into four categories. Determination of an individual's constitution, however, can be different according to who he or she consults with since it depends solely on the examiner's own perception and methods. Currently, the use of self-reporting questionnaires is accepted as a general approach in clinical settings, but the results of different questionnaires tend to be inconsistent. In this study, we investigated how different the results of the questionnaires are and what the inter-questionnaires agreement is. 2. Method : 1595 peoples who volunteered our research from 1997 to 1999 and were evaluated disease free were asked to mark out three questionnaires: Sasang Pattern Identification Questionnaire, QSCC I and QSCCII(QSCC I was completed by 348 patients only). 3. Results and Conclusions : Three questionnaires above produced different results as excepted. In Sasang Pattern Identification Questionnaire, the Soeumin accounted for 55.9%. With the modified version of Sasang Pattern Identification Questionnaire, the Taeumin was the majoriy(39.1 %) and, QSCCII also showed similar results(34.8% of Taeumin). In contrast, the QSCC I revealed the majority consisted of the Soyangin (59.1 %). In terms of analysis on inter-questionnaire agreement, Sasang Pattern Identification Questionnaire and its modified version showed the highest agreement of 66.3, followed by 55.6% of QSCCII and the modified version from Sasang Pattern Identification Questionnaire. Therefore, we concluded that the ideal choice to determine an individual's constitution, as far as questionnaires go, is to take results from both the modified version from Sasang Pattern Identification Questionnaire and QSCCII. We found the use of QSCC I can be confusing to reach a satisfactory agreement.
