Localization of coherent/incoherent sources-simulation and experiment (독립/비독립 음원의 위치 탐지 방법)

  • 음원의 위치를 찾는 문제에 있어서 비독립 음원들이 존재하는 경우, 근접장에서는 음원으로부터 나오는 파형을 평면파로 가정할 수 없고 구면파로 가정해야 하며, 여러개의 비독립 음원이 존재한다고 가정하여 각각의 음원의 위치를 변화시켜 가면서 MUSIC파워를 계산하여야 한다. 실제 음원의 갯수보다 가정한 음원의 갯수가 작으면 정확한 음원의 위치를 가르키지 못하며 MUSIC 파워 값도 작다. 실제 음원의 갯수와 가정한 음원의 갯수가 같으면 정확한 음원의 위치를 가르치며 MUSIC 파워 값이 크게 얻어진다. 실제 음원의 갯수보다 가정한 음원의 갯수가 큰 경우 실제의 음원의 위치를 포함하여 다른 음원의 위치를 얻을 수 있으나 그 음원의 세기는 무시할 정도로 작다. 즉 실제 음원의 갯수보다 많은 수의 음원을 가정하여 음원을 탐지할 수 있다. 일반 음장 즉 독립 음원과 비독립 음원이 공존하는 경우 실제의 음원의 갯수만큼 가정한다면 음원이 위치를 찾을 수 있다.

  • 계층형 신경회로망은 학습능력이나 비선형사상능력을 가지고 있고, 그 특징을 이용하여 패턴인식이나 동정 및 제어 등에의 적용이 시도되어 성과를 올리고 있다. 현재, 그 학습법으로 널리 이용되고 있는 것이 역전파학습법으로 최급 강하법이나 공액경사법 등의 최적화 방법이 적용되고 있지만, 학습에 많은 시간이 걸리는 점, 국소적 최적해(local minima)에 해의 수렴이 이루어져 오차가 충분히 작게 되지 않는 점 등이 문제점으로 지적되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 Hu에 의해 고안된 random 탐색법과 조합된 random tabu 탐색법으로 최적결합계수를 구하는 학습알고리즘으로, 국소적 최적해에 수렴하는 것을 방지하고, 수렴정도를 개선하는 새로운 방법을 이용하여 회전기계의 이상진동진단에 적용가능성을 검토하고 오차역전파법에 의한 진단결과와 비교검토한다.

  • In the development of sheet-handling machinery, it is important to be able to predict the italic and dynamic behavior of the sheets with a high degree of reliability because the sheets are fed and stacked at such a high speed. In this paper, a spring-mass-beam model is introduced. This model consists of rotational springs, shear springs and masses. The formulations for static and dynamic behavior of sheets are introduced. And some simulations are presented for static and dynamic cases.

  • The sound insulation performance of walls and floors for air-borne and structure-borne sounds in an apartment building is an important environmental factor which should be contemplated at the intial design stage for their thorough control. Recent increasing residents' demands for quality living spaces strongly urge the development of more accurate and efficient measurement and evaluation methods for the control of air-borne and structure-borne sound insulation. However, steel-structured apartment buildings, recently emerged as new building structures in the market, have not been thoroughly examined. The present work carried out an extensive survey for steel-structured apartment buildings, in an attempt to provide useful design data, and their sound insulation performances were compared with those of R.C. apartment buildings.

  • 본, 논문에서는 카본/에폭시, PZT 세라믹 박판, 글래스/에폭시 층으로 이루어진 곡면형 복합재료 작동기(LIPCA)의 설계, 제작 및 성능실험에 대한 연구 성과를 제시하고 있다. LIPCA의 큰 요점은 기존 THUNDER의 성능을 유지하면서 이를 경량화 하기 위하여 THUNDER의 금속 층을 상대적으로 가벼운 섬유 강화 복합재료로 대체하는 것이다. 이러한 경량화 작업으로 LIPCA는 기존 THUNDER 보다 약 $30{\sim}40%$ 정도의 무게를 감소시킬 수 있으며, 복합재료의 특성에 따라 설계의 유연성을 가질 수 있는 장점이 있다. 또한, 에폭시 수지를 사용함으로써 접착제 없이 평판 몰드에서 오토클레이브에서 $177^{\circ}C$로 경화되어, 탈형된 후 충분한 곡률을 형성하였다. 작동 성능 실험에서, LIPCA는 기존 THUNDER보다 작동변위가 향상됨을 보였다.

  • In these days, promising renewable energy, wind turbine is clean energy but has an environmental pollutant which is noise. Noise assessment is one of the major performance evaluations for wind turbine and nowadays, developing and research for measurement and method of the assessment considering environmental pollutants is being important. Object in this study is that figuring out sound power characteristic of the gearbox for wind turbine through measuring sound intensity. In back-to-back test, we can figure out the noise characteristic of the gearbox for wind turbine through comparing and measuring sound pressure level, sound power level in operating at the each load condition respectively.

  • ISO 22266-1 issued in May 2009 provides guidelines for applying shaft torsional vibration criteria, under normal operating conditions, for the coupled shaft system and long blades of a turbine generator set. In case that a turbine generator vendor do not meet the separation margin of torsional natural frequencies in the technical specifications of the purchaser, this standard can present the reasonable and objective criteria about torsional vibration which both purchaser and supplier can agree on, while ensuring the integrity of turbine generator. This paper describes the application case of ISO 22266-1 for the establishment of torsinal vibration criteria under retrofitting the turbine generator of 'U' nuclear power plant.

  • A numerical analysis was made In investigate the pressure diminution of a silencer with baffles for high pressure blast flow fields. Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes equations were solved for an axisymmetric computational domain constructed by multi block Chimera grids. A blast flow field was calculated for the silencers that are with one and three baffles. The evolution of high pressure blast flow fields was observed by depicting calculated contours of pressure. It was found that the tested silencer could achieve 97.7 percent pressure diminution.

  • Data-driven method for fault diagnostics system often use machine learning technique. To use such technique proper signal processing should be implemented such as time synchronous averaging (TSA) for ball bearing systems. However, for journal bearing diagnostics systems not much has been researched, and yet a proper signal processing method has not been studied. Therefore, in this research an optimal datum unit for a reliable journal bearing diagnostics system along with angular resampling process is being suggested. Before extracting time and frequency domain features, angular resampling is applied to each cycle of vibration data. As to preserve the characteristics of vibration signal, averaging method is replaced by finding the optimal datum unit which strengthens statistical characteristics of vibration signal. Then 20 features were extracted for various cases, and those features are being evaluated by two criteria, separability and classification accuracy.

  • In this paper, the finite element modeling of the RK4 rotor kit system (RK4) and then transient analysis, and was compared with the actual experimental results. RK4 manufactured by General Electric for the purpose of education and research. It is modeled by using the ANSYS finite element analysis program commercially available. Considering the rotor abnormal conditions(disc unbalance and shaft rubbing) and the vibration response of the analytical model were compared with experimental results.
