A Survey on the Consumer's Recognition of Food Labeling in Seoul Area (서울지역 소비자들의 식품표시에 대한 인식도 조사)

  • This study investigated consumer's recognition of food labeling in order to contribute to the development of food labels which are more informative to consumers. The questionnaires had been collected from 120 male and female customers living in Seoul with the age between 10's and 60's from November 2nd to November 7th 2009. For checking the food label at the time of purchase, 58.3% of the consumers checked the food label and the main reason for checking the food label was to confirm sell-by date (60.1%). Sixty percent of the consumers were satisfied with the current food labeling. Among those who are not satisfied, 30.6% complained about difficult terms to understand and 25.8% were dissatisfied with insufficient information. In every age group, most people were not satisfied with labeling on food ingredient and additives, followed by date of manufacture and sell-by date. 53.1% of consumers demanded to label date of manufacture and sell-by date together. For more clear information, consumers wanted use-by date (47.5%) rather than sell-by date (23.3%). 56.7% of consumers was dissatisfied with warning information such as allergic warning and the reasons for dissatisfaction were poor visibility (37.5%) and insufficient information (33.4%). Moreover most consumers (90.0%) showed little knowledge on irradiation. To improve of the food labeling standards into consumer-oriented standards, both amendment of the food labeling standards and consumer education will be necessary.

  • This study is to focus on the users of mobile communication services in Pusan metropolitan city. First this study measured the levels of consumer dissatisfaction and consumer complaining behavior. Second, this study analyzed a causal-effect on variables affecting consumer complaining behavior. The findings of this study are as follows ; 1) In area of contract and cost, variables directly and indirectly affecting consumer complaining behavior were sex, age, consumer knowledge, complaining behavior experience, attribution, and consumer dissatisfaction. 2) In area of use, variables directly and indirectly affecting consumer complaining behavior were sex, consumer knowledge, complaining behavior experience, attribution, and consumer dissatisfaction. 3) In area of services, variables directly and indirectly affecting consumer complaining behavior were sex, consumer knowledge, consumer function, complaining behavior experience, attribution, and consumer dissatisfaction.

  • 화장품의 관능평가는 크게 분석형 관능평가와 기호형 관능평가로 나눌 수 있으며 본 보고에서는 메이컵 화장단계 중에 사용되는 파운데이션의 분석형 관능평가를 통해 파운데이션 사용 시 느껴지는 관능적 특성 용어의 도출과 정의를 내린 후 실제 소비자들을 통해 여러 가지의 파운데이션을 사용하면서 느껴지는 관능적 특성 강도 및 그에 따른 선호도 등을 기호형 관능평가로 수행하여 파운데이션 사용 시에 만족 및 불만족 요인으로 작용하는 관능속성 및 주요요인들을 분석하였다. 그 결과 파운데이션의 관능속성 평가의 주요인은 커버력 요인과 화장상태 요인으로 나타났으며 밀착감과 화장지속력, 화장상태의 자연스러움이 제품의 선호도와 가장 큰 상관관계를 보였다. 이와 같이 파운데이션에 대한 관능속성과 만족도를 결합하져 소비자가 선호하는 관능속성의 제품을 설계하고 평가할 수 있는 관능적 평가방법을 개발하여 제품개발에 활용하였다.

키오스크 사용자 중심 서비스개선 우선순위 연구

  • 최근 다양한 산업에서 키오스크를 활용한 서비스가 확대되고 있으며 현대증권의 보고서에 따르면 세계적으로 키오스크 시장이 2021년도 까지 연평균 17%의 성장률을 기록할 것이라고 전망되어진다. 이와 같은 배경에서 국내에서도 키오스크 제조, 관리업이 늘어나고 있으며 창의적인 기술력을 바탕으로 차별성을 둔 스타트업들의 진출도 보이고 있다. 하지만, 대부분의 제조, 관리업자들은 1차 소비자인 설치 매장의 관점에서 접근을 하여 서비스 개선을 이루어 내기에 여전히 키오스크를 실제 사용하는 소비자의 불편 및 불만에 대한 개선은 부족한 실정이며 학계에서도 디자인, UI, 기술수용 등 다양한 방면으로 연구가 진행되고 있지만 현실적인 효과의 확인에는 어려움을 호소하기에 본 연구에서는 실제 소비자의 관점에서 키오스크를 사용함에 있어서 중점을 두는 요인들과 현재 연구가 이루어지고 있는 주제들을 중심으로 핵심 요인 10가지를 추출하여 이를 다시 품질속성 분류와 만족수준 측정을 진행하였다. 본 연구에서는 Kano를 활용하여 품질속성을 분류하고 이 과정에서 모델의 단점으로 인해 발생하는 문제점을 보완하기 위해 추가적으로 Timko를 통해 만족계수와 불만족계수 측정과 PCSI를 통한 현재 만족수준을 확인하여 복합적으로 해석하고 이를 통해 최종적인 서비스개선 순위를 시사하는 방향으로 본 연구를 진행하였다.

Analysis of Consumer Behavior toward and Preferences for Prunus mume (Maesil), the Chinese Plum (매실에 대한 소비자 선호 및 소비행태분석)

  • We sought to define the main motivational factors promoting consumption of Prunus mume products. We surveyed both specialized high-volume consumers and public consumers, and focused on consumption of and preferences for Prunus mume and Prunus mume products. We investigated how products were preferentially consumed, purchase experience, purchase location, purchase price, consumption experience, factors important in a purchase decision, preference factors, dissatisfaction factors, consumption outlook, comments on new processed foods, and activation of consumption. A total of 534 responses were received and data were analyzed using the SAS program (Version 9.1) of the Frequency test; Chi-square test was used to detect significant factors. A greater percentage of high-volume(compared with low-volume) consumers processed personal products at home. The public consumer tended to buy commercial products. However, public consumers who were older, who had higher incomes, and who were heads of households, tended to both buy commercial products and to prepare foods at home. The common purchase methods used by high-volume consumers were internet and direct marketing, but the public consumer frequented department stores and hypermarkets. High-volume consumers observed that commercial products were expensive, and such consumers seemed to be particularly cost-sensitive. The decisive factor triggering purchase decisions in high-volume consumers was the geographical origin of the fruit, whereas the public consumer was more concerned with taste. In public, positive factors were that the product was good for health and had a pleasant taste. Some of those surveyed complained of a lack of variety in Prunus mume products and that the amount of Prunus mume in certain products was low. To promote and increase consumption, convenient-to-eat products with healthy images are needed.

The impact of influencer characteristics on consumer behavior through coexistence of buyers (인플루언서의 특성이 구매자의 공존성을 통해 소비자 행동에 미치는 영향)

  • In recent years, the concept of influencer marketing has experienced rapid growth in both academia and industry, leading to its emergence as a crucial consideration in the marketing strategies of many businesses. Despite the significance and expansion of the influencer market, however, research on the topic has not kept pace with its growth. Thus, this study seeks to address this gap by empirically analyzing the impact of influencer characteristics on consumer behavior through the coexistence of buyers and providing an empirical contribution to expand the relevant literature. To accomplish this, a survey was conducted with a sample of 400 individuals who had purchased a product through an influencer, and 384 responses were ultimately utilized in the analysis. The results revealed that the attractiveness and empathy of influencers had a positive impact on satisfaction among coexisting buyers, while also having a negative impact on dissatisfaction. In contrast, expertise had no impact on satisfaction, but a positive impact on dissatisfaction. Moreover, satisfaction was found to have a positive impact on brand image and recommendation intention, whereas dissatisfaction had a negative impact on both. Overall, this study adds to the growing body of literature on influencer marketing by providing empirical evidence of the impact of influencer characteristics on consumer behavior, specifically through the lens of coexistence with buyers. These findings hold important implications for businesses looking to develop effective influencer marketing strategies that can enhance their brand image and recommendation intention among consumers.

  • This study is conducted a survey of consumer problems and dissatisfactionand their complaining behavior with door to door and mail order sellings. Results of the study show that both door to door selling and mail order selling the level of consumer complaining behavior was below median point. Path analysis of the variables affected complaining behavior showed that total causal effect to the biggest consumer dissatisfaction.

  • The present research integrates the core aspects of anger with the theory of planned behavior to investigate factors influencing online activism in a Web site. This study conducted online survey, and the sample was members who joined the V4400 Sobi-ja-heem Web site. The Web site Sobi-ja-heem was initiated by a consumer who was irritated at the cell phone manufacturer Samsung Inc. because its model, "Anycall" had major product defects such as the malfunction of the camcorder, poor tone quality, fuzziness of the screen, and broken text messages. The findings suggests that adding anger in Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) enhances the explanatory power of the theory in predicting an intention to participate in activities to correct the issue, which indicates the possibility of combining emotion and the TPB in the prediction of online activism.

웹디자인 개발전략 수립을 위한 소비자의 인터넷 쇼핑 프로세스에 관한 연구

  • 본 연구는 인터넷 쇼핑시이트의 웹디지인 구성형식에 띠른 소비자의 쇼핑 프로세스의 차이점을 밝히고, 인터넷 쇼핑 사이트에 대한 소비자 만족도와 그 차원을 규명하고, 인터넷 편의성, 만족도 및 구매의도와의 관계를 조사하였다. 본 연구는 설문지조사법과 관찰법을 이용히여 인터넷을 사용하는 소비자로, 남여 대학생 101명을 편의추출히여 조사를 실시하였고, 자료분석방법으로는 기술통계, paired t-test, 요인분석, 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 대부분의 응답자들이 인터넷사용과 인터넷 쇼핑에 어려움을 느끼지 않았으며, 인터넷 정보의 질은 소비자들이 기대수준에 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 상품정보 제공 시 사진과 설명을 동시에 사용하는 것을 선호하고 상품 홈페이지 구성의 중요도 중 속도와 정보의 질을 중요시 여기는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 인터넷 쇼핑 프로세스의 관찰 결과 처음 쇼핑을 시도할 경우 인석하기 쉬운 기능키나 단어로 된 메뉴를 이용하는 경우가 대부분이며, 쇼핑 과정은 대부분 10번의 클릭으로 이루어졌고, 쇼핑과정 동안 쇼핑에 재미를 느끼지 못하는 경우도 많았으며 마음에 들지 않거나 선호하는 상품이 없는 경우 쇼핑을 중단하는 것이 대부분이었다. 그리고 매장구성은 텍스트보다는 그림을 선호하는 경우가 많았다. 셋째, 인터넷 쇼핑에 대한 소비자 만족요소 중에 '직접 가지 않아도 되는 것'과 '시간, 장소에 구애받지 않는다'는 항목에 대한 만족도가 높게 나타났으나 상품의 구색이나 가격, 유통업자 및 상품의 신뢰도 요인에 대한 만족도가 낮게 나타났으며 만족/불만족 요인으로는 주문처리의 정확성/다양성, 인터넷 쇼핑의 편의성, 상품의 다양성/신뢰성, 주문 방법의 편의/경제성, 쇼핑 방법의 용이성의 5가지 요인으로 나타났다. 넷째, 인터넷 편의성은 소비자 만족에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났으나, 인터넷 쇼핑의 만족은 구매의도에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 쇼핑의 만족도가 높을수록 구매의도가 높은 것으로 나타났고, 상품의 다양성/신뢰성 요인에 대한 만족도가 높을수록 구매의도가 가장 높아지는 것으로 조사되었다. 인터넷 쇼핑 사이트에서 소비자들은 전형적인 의복구매행동과 유사하거나 오히려 더 많은 정보와 서비스롤 요구하는 것으로 나타났다. 직접 보지 못하고 구매해야 한다는 데 대한 두려움과 거부감을 많이 나타내고 쇼핑 시 즐거움에 대한 중요도도 높게 나타났다.

Consumer Complaint Behavior over Dissatisfaction with Beauty Salon Services (미용서비스 관련 소비자불만에 대한 대응행동)

  • This study was conducted to encourage dissatisfied consumers to initiate an active complaining process over beauty salon services as well as to reduce consumer dissatisfaction at the time of using such services. A questionnaire survey was conducted with female consumers over the period between December 1 and December 20, 2004. A total of 753 questionnaires were used for the final analysis. The following findings were obtained: 1. Consumer dissatisfaction index with beauty salon services was 23.02 (65.77/100) and the respondents showed the highest level of dissatisfaction with the price. 2. The level of complaints about beauty salon services was very low, as shown by the index value 7.12 (25.43/100). Most of the respondents simply did not go back to the particular beauty shop, or complained privately to people around them when they felt dissatisfied with beauty service. 3. Benefit awareness and level of dissatisfaction had the greatest effect on the complaint behavior about unsatisfaction beauty salon services.
