소비자의 가치 추구 동인이 블로그 리뷰의 신뢰성 지각에 미치는 영향: 유대강도에 따른 조절효과를 중심으로 (The Effect of Consumers' Value Motives on the Perception of Blog Reviews Credibility: the Moderation Effect of Tie Strength)

  • 블로그의 상품 리뷰가 소비자의 주목을 끄는 데에는 정보 원천인 블로거에 대한 신뢰가 자리잡고 있다. 블로거가 해당 상품 카테고리와 관련하여 충분한 지식 및 경험을 습득하고 있다는 전문성에 대한 믿음, 그리고 어떤 다른 이해 관계에 얽매여 정보를 왜곡하려는 등의 불순한 의도를 지니고 있지 않다는 진실성에 대한 믿음이 있기에 소비자들은 구매 의사 결정에 뒤따르는 불확실성을 줄일 요량으로 블로그의 상품 리뷰를 참조하게 된다. 본 연구는 이러한 점에 착안하여 소비자들이 리뷰 정보를 통해 추구하는 가치 동인이 무엇이냐에 따라 신뢰성의 하위 차원인 전문성 및 진실성에 이르는 경로 계수의 비중이 분화하며, 나아가 유대 강도의 강약에 따라 전문성 및 진실성 기반 신뢰성에 대한 기대치가 분기하게 될 것이라 예측하였다. 아울러, 유대 강도가 태도로서의 신뢰성이 리뷰 수용 의사에 대해 갖는 예측력에 조절 효과를 미쳐 파워블로그 사용 집단에서보다 개인블로그 사용 집단에서 이러한 예측력이 보다 고양될 것이라 가정하였다. 분석 결과, 도구적 정보 니즈를 충족시키고자 하는 유목적적 가치 동인은 정보 원천의 전문성에 대한 기대 의존도를 증폭시키지만, 고립감을 해소하고자 하는 대인간 연결의 가치 동인은 정보 원천의 진실성에 대한 의존도를 높이는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고, 전문성에 대한 기대치는 강한 유대 관계의 개인블로그 사용 집단에서보다 약한 유대 관계의 파워블로그 사용 집단에서 보다 증진되며, 태도로서의 신뢰성이 리뷰 수용 의사에 대해 갖는 예측력은 파워블로그 사용 집단에서보다 개인블로그 사용 집단에서 보다 고양되는 것으로 나타났다.

정보보안이 안드로이드와 iOS 기반 스마트폰 소비자 선호에 미치는 영향 (A Study on the Influence of Information Security on Consumer's Preference of Android and iOS based Smartphone)

  • 현재 국내 인구의 85% 이상이 스마트폰을 사용 중이며, 개인의 사생활과 다양한 정보들이 스마트폰 내부에 저장되어 있다. 이러한 정보를 불법으로 취득하고자 악성코드와 스파이웨어 등을 유포하여 사용자에게는 금전적인 피해를 입히는 사례들이 증가하고 있다. 이에 따라 스마트폰을 이용하는데 있어 정보보안의 필요성은 불가피하며 사용자의 보안 인식이 중요시 되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 정보보안이 사용자들의 스마트폰 운영체제 선택에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지에 대해서 알아보고자 한다. 스마트폰 사용자를 대상으로 온라인 설문조사를 실시하여 수집한 응답지 218개를 샘플로 통계분석 프로그램 IBM SPSS Statistics 22를 사용하여 요인분석을 통한 공통성, 신뢰성 분석 그리고 회귀분석을 통해 가설을 검증하였다. 검증 결과, 하드웨어 환경에 따라 지각된 용이성에 영향을 주는 것을 알 수 있었다. 스마트폰의 사용을 통해 즐거움을 얻고 편하게 사용하고자 하는 소비자의 의도는 스마트폰의 하드웨어가 그 기능을 수행하기 위해 뒷받침되어야 함이 검증되었다. 또한 브랜드 영향력은 지각된 유용성과 지각된 용이성에 모두 영향을 미침을 알 수 있었다. 개인위험 감수정도에 따라 스마트폰 스파이웨어 위험성을 인지하는데 차이가 있다는 가설이 채택되었다. 또한 지각된 유용성, 지각된 용이성, 개인위험 감수정도, 스파이웨어 위험성이 스마트폰 구매의향에 유의한 영향을 준다는 것을 파악하였다. 한편 안드로이드와 iOS 운영체제(OS) 사용자의 집단간 차이분석 결과 두 집단 간에는 유의한 차이가 없음을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구의 결과는 국내 스마트폰 관련 기업 및 실무자에게 중요한 시사점을 줄 수 있고, 정보시스템 관련 분야 연구에 새로운 관점을 제시해 줄 수 있다는 점에서 유용성을 가진다.

학교급식 수산물 가격 결정에 대한 서울 지역 학교영양(교)사의 인식 (School Dieticians' Perception of Seafood Ingredient Pricing in School Food-Service in Seoul)

  • 본 연구는 학교급식 수산물 식재료의 적절한 가격 결정을 위하여 공급업체와의 계약, 납품 현황 및 수산물 식재료의 사용 현황과 수산물 식재료 가격 인식, HACCP 적용 편익에 따른 영양(교)사의 가격 인식을 조사하였다. 대부분의 학교(96.5%)가 수산물 전문 취급업체로부터 납품받는 것으로 조사되었다. 납품 시 계약 위반을 경험한 학교가 42.1%였고, 특히 빙의로 인한 무게 감소를 이유로 반품 및 교환을 한 학교가 총 89곳(60.1%)인 것으로 나타났다. 현재 공급되는 수산물 식재료에 대한 만족도는 '제품의 가격', '제품의 품질', '원산지 진위'에 대한 항목에서 수의계약으로 납품되는 수산물이 경쟁입찰방식으로 공급되는 식재료보다 유의적으로 높아(P<0.05) 계약방법에 따른 수산물 식재료의 만족도는 차이가 있었다. 응답자들의 재계약 의도 또한 경쟁입찰로 선정된 공급업체보다 수의계약으로 선정된 공급업체에 대해 유의적으로 높게 인식하고 있는 것으로 조사되었다(P<0.001). 학교급식 수산물 식재료의 가격요소 반영 정도는 '이윤($5.96{\pm}1.15$)'과 'HACCP 지정 및 유지 비용($5.57{\pm}1.40$)' 항목이 현재 납품되는 수산물 가격에 가장 크게 반영되는 요소로 인식하고 있었다. 반면 향후 수산물 식재료 가격 산정에 가장 많이 반영되어야 한다고 응답한 요소는 'HACCP 지정 및 유지 비용($5.29{\pm}1.39$)'이고, 가장 낮게 반영되어야 한다고 인식된 요소가 '이윤($4.12{\pm}1.12$)'인 것으로 조사되었다. 또한 '가공비용'을 제외한 나머지 5개 가격요소 모두 현재 가격 반영 정도와 향후 기대 가격 반영정도 간의 유의적인 차이가 있는 것으로 조사되었다(P<0.05). HACCP 지정 수산물 식재료 구매 시 미지정 제품에 비해 얼마나 비용을 추가적으로 지불할 의사가 있는가에 대한 응답은 9.9%의 응답자를 제외한 대부분의 응답자들이 추가 지불 의사가 있는 것으로 조사되었다. 수산물은 산지에서 수확되는 생산량과 어획 시기에 따른 물량 확보의 가변성으로 시장 가격에 대한 객관성이 부족하다. 특히 학교급식에 납품되는 수산물 식재료의 가격은 재래시장이나 할인점 등에서 임의로 조사된 근거에 따라 전자입찰 예정가격이 산정되는 문제점도 있을 것으로 사료되어 수산물 식재료의 가격산정과 관련하여 구매방법 전반에 대하여 논의가 이루어져야 할 것이다. 본 연구의 결과는 수산물 식재료의 가격 산정에 대한 소비자 측면에서의 가격 인식과 수산물 식재료의 구매에 관한 정보를 제공함으로써 학교급식에서 양질의 수산물을 공급하고, 합리적인 수산물 가격 결정을 통해 수산물의 소비를 촉진하는 데 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

한국과 베트남 소비자의 지각된 가치가 베이커리 브랜드 선호도와 구매의도에 미치는 영향 (Perceived Value Effects on Global Brand Preference and Purchase Intention in Bakeries: Korean and Vietnamese Consumers)

  • Purpose - This study aims to suggest strategies for Korean enterprises advancing into the Vietnam bakery market by analyzing the effects of perceived values on brand preference and purchase intention among Korean and Vietnamese consumers. Research design, data, and methodology - The perceived value model designed includes functional (price, quality), emotional, and social values. The survey collected data from 500 consumers in Seoul (Korea) and HoChiMinh (Vietnam). The SPSS 18.0 package was used for analysis. Results - First, among Vietnamese consumers, perceived value had a positive (+) effect on global brand preference in the order of functional value of quality, social value, and the functional value of price. However, from an ethnocentric trend and brand image origin, emotional value had a negative effect on global brand preference. In contrast, among Korean consumers, perceived value had a positive (+) effect on global brand preference in the order of functional value of quality, the functional value of price, and the social value. However, emotional value had no effect on global brand preference. Second, for both Korean and Vietnamese consumers, perceived value had a significant positive effect on purchase intention. Third, unlike the Korean consumer, for the Vietnamese consumer, global brand preference had a significant effect on purchase intention. Conclusions - The study implies the following. First, the Vietnamese bakery market has a high proportion of middle-aged customers in their 40s (64%). In terms of monthly income, there was a large proportion (40%) of high-income earners (over $325). Therefore, bakery consumption can be seen as concentrated among middle-aged and high-income consumers. Based on this, bakery strategies should include efforts to increase purchase prices as well as ways to attract local consumers (large cities). Second, unlike Korean consumers, among Vietnamese consumers, the resistance to a global brand based on emotional value (the ethnocentric tendency and brand image origin) can be seen as relatively low. Thus, in the case of the Vietnam bakery market, to increase a global brand's preference, the company should develop a differentiated strategy so that Vietnamese consumers can recognize it better, focusing on product quality, good service quality, and price in the local environment and on social value for social development. Third, in the case of the Vietnamese customer, we found that social value exerts the greatest influence on purchase intention. Therefore, a brand that engenders an image of building the local Vietnamese community can achieve a higher social value and influence purchase intention. In addition, although Vietnamese consumers have ethnocentric tendencies in terms of products, we found that if it is a preferred global brand then there are intentions to purchase. Fourth, in the case of Vietnam, if the preference for global brands is formed, consumer awareness may be connected to purchase intention. Therefore, global brands operating in Vietnam should pay attention to how to improve consumer preferences for global brands in order to increase purchase intention.

친환경농산물 선택기준이 구매의도에 미치는 영향 : 소비자 태도와 신뢰의 매개, 조절효과를 중심으로 (Effects of Selection Criteria for Eco-Friendly Agricultural Products on Purchase Intention)

  • Purpose - This study investigated the effects of consumers' selection criteria for environment-friendly agricultural products on purchase intention and the effects of consumers' attitudes and the reliability of environment-friendly agricultural products on purchase intention by using the theory of planned behavior. Subjective norms of variables of behavioral intention, attitudes toward behavior and control of the behavior were used to create selection criteria, consumers' attitudes and reliability of environment-friendly agricultural products. The study investigated the effects of consumers' selection criteria, attitudes, and reliability of environment-friendly agricultural products on purchase intention constructing models and hypotheses of mediation and moderation between selection criteria for agricultural products and purchase intention by consumers' attitudes and reliability. Research design, data, and methodology - The findings were as follows: first, consumers' selection criteria for environment-friendly agricultural products had a significantly affirmative influence upon purchase intention. Health was the most important factor of selection criteria convenience was more important than quality and familiarity was next. Consumers' attitudes and trust had a significant influence on purchase intention. Second, testing showed that consumers' attitude and trust partially mediated selection criteria: sub-factors and purchase intention were important in selection criteria. Third, testing showed that consumers' attitude and trust had a significant moderation effect between selection criteria and purchase intention. In the test of the moderation effect between sub-factors of selection criteria and purchase intention, consumers' attitude had a significantly positive influence upon health, convenience, and familiarity, and had no significant influence upon quality and purchase intention. Consumers' trust had no significant influence upon health, convenience, and quality. Results - The study provided several theoretical implications: first, an empirical analysis was undertaken with selection criteria for environmental-friendly agricultural products, consumers' attitude, and trust to investigate subjective norms, attitude toward behavior and control of behavior based on the theory of planned behavior. Second, this study investigated both the mediation effect and moderation effect of consumers' subjective norms on attitudes toward behavior, the mediating effects of perceived behavior control and changes of behavioral intention depending upon size and direction of the variables. This study also provided several practical implications. Conclusions - First, consumption of environment-friendly agricultural products did not increase despite rapid increase of production therefore, promotion of consumption and distribution was needed considering the supply and demand of the products. Second, definite standards for selection criteria were suggested to build up consumers' attitude and trust. Consumers' attitude could be improved by factors including the brand of environment-friendly agricultural products, consistent quality, solving physiological problems caused by adverse effects of environmental problems, supplementary approaches, treatment of adverse effects by eating food, and the development and supply of products in accordance with changes of lifestyle. Finally, consumers' demand for sub-factors of selection criteria could be much higher than health, convenience, and quality of the products. Therefore, a process was needed that could continuously check consumers' needs for the products. Limitations were described at the end of the study.

브랜드 수산물이 소비자 태도를 매개로 구매의도에 미치는 영향 (A Study of the Seafood Brand Influence on Purchase Intention focus on the Mediating Effects of Attitude)

  • Today, the consumer is more careful in buying goods, invests more time in collecting relevant information to avoid any potential danger, and restricts from potential impulse buying. To react this consumer's carefulness, the seafood brands provide much information including the origin labeling system, the traceability, the food's safety & hygiene. Also the branding by region or company is pursued. Like that, a seafood brand's importance is increased, but there lack few researches dealing how current consumer's attitude influences on real purchase behavior, and how the attitude works consumer purchase decision. Therefore, this study researched the brand's influence on the consumer's attitude and purchase intention. For this purpose, this study targeted the salty mackerel and the dried yellow corvina because they are already branded and sold in some popularity, and researched how a brand's popularity, its image, and its recognized quality could effect on the consumer's attitude and purchase intention. As the result, it was appeared that a seafood brand's popularity didn't directly effect on the consumer's purchase intention, but indirectly influenced through the consumer's attitude as a parameter. From this result, improving a seafood brand's popularity needs some time to form the consumer's positive attitude and to lead to consumer purchase intention of seafood brand. So, it is thought that various promotion activities for seafood consumption must be continually performed rather than some temporary special events. Consumers showed more positive attitude on familiar seafood based on a product's original place and the freshness. Also they had better feeling about some seafood with their speciality images rather than the same kinds of products produced in other regions. This attitude temporarily led to purchase intention. Therefore, it is important that the branding strategy development should start from some seafood familiar to us in traditional food culture and food habit, but should delivery the reliance and the freshness in accurately indicating their origins, and should emphasize their differences as specialities. Consumers showed some positive attitudes on the seafood featuring the hygiene, the safety, continual good quality, and their attitudes led to their purchase intentions in temporary. The seafood product reflecting these results the best is the marketing activities on some Andong salty mackerel products acquired HACCP certification. it is thought that a seafood's branding strategy should be established on distinctive branding strategies using reliable certification mark like HACCP based on the hygiene, the safety, and the quality.

의류 소매점의 판매촉진에 대한 소비자 태도와 구매의도 (Consumer Attitudes toward the Sales Promotions of Retail Apparel Stores With Respect to Purchase Intention)

  • Purpose - Among potential marketing strategies, the most efficient method to encourage purchase intention is through sales promotions. Sales promotions also serve to enhance customer satisfaction, which is closely related to the incidence of repurchases. Therefore, the success of retail stores greatly depends on the effectiveness of their promotional activities. The present study aimed to obtain the necessary information for apparel stores to establish more effective promotional activities. To this end, the study's specific research questions were to examine 1) consumer satisfaction with the recent sales promotions of retail apparel stores, 2) the levels of consumer preferences for different types of sales promotions (cash discounts, promotional gifts, prize drawings, discount coupons, stamp cards, or mileage cards), and 3) the differences in purchase intention according to preference levels for different types of sales promotions. Research design, data, and methodology - The research employed a descriptive survey method using a self-administered questionnaire. The sample consisted of 700 men (n=234) and women (n=466) ranging in age from their 20s to their 50s and residing in the Seoul area. Data were analyzed through methods including factor analysis as well as Cronbach's α coefficients, the t-test, ANOVA, and the Duncan test. Results - Differences among consumer preferences were identified for each type of sales promotion according to the purchase amount and the customer's age. In relation to purchase amounts below 500,000 won, participants in their 50s have lower preferences for price discounts than those in their 20s or 30s, whereas participants in their 40s or 50s have lower preferences for stamp cards and mileage cards than those in their 20s. When the purchase amount is greater than 500,000 won, housewives have higher preferences for promotional gifts than respondents with other occupations. However, no gender differences were found with regard to preference levels for the different types of sales promotions. Respondents generally exhibited mediocre satisfaction with the sales promotion events of retail apparel stores. They also expressed negative opinions about sales promotions when such promotions lead to high prices, as well as dissatisfaction with the poor quality of promotional gifts. It was also found that, regardless of the purchase amount, the groups with higher preferences for discount coupons and mileage cards displayed higher purchase intentions. Only when the purchase amount is greater than 200,000 won did the group with higher preferences for lottery system promotional gifts express higher purchase intentions. On the other hand, for all purchase amount sizes, there were no differences in purchase intentions according to preferences for cash discounts, promotional gifts, or stamp cards. Conclusions - The results revealed that greater effort must be devoted to enhancing consumers' satisfaction levels with the promotional activities performed by apparel retail stores. The results also showed that it is necessary to differentiate among sales promotion strategies according to preference levels for different types of sales promotions, purchase amounts, and target consumer ages.

신제품의 혁신 속성과 계획적 진부화가 소비자의 구매의도에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of a New Product's Innovative Attributes and Planned Obsolescence on Consumer Purchase Intention)

  • Purpose - To vitalize a market or develop a new one, companies frequently release new products into the market, often by shortening the time to market, called the release period. This research aims to investigate the purchase intention behavior of consumers in terms of buying new products at the time of product release based on the release speed. Research Design, Data, and Methodology - The research reviews the influence of relative advantage, complexity, and compatibility among innovative attributes of new products, as proposed by Rogers. Moreover, it examines the moderating effect of the innovative new product attributes in terms of speed of obsolescence of old products and how that influences consumer purchase behavior. Additionally, this study tests the research hypotheses using empirical analysis. Results - The analysis demonstrated that the relative predominance (H1) and suitability (H3) of new products had a statistically significant positive influence on new product purchase intention. However, the complexity (H2) of new products had a statistically significant positive influence on new product purchase intention in contrast to its predicted sign (-). The results of the moderating effect of the old product use period were as follows. H4-1 was not supported since the difference between the path coefficients of the group with the low level old product use period and the group with the high level, represented by the relationship of relative predominance and new product purchase intention, was not statistically significant. H5-1 was also not supported since the difference between the path coefficients of the group with the low level of old product use period and the group with the high level, represented by the relationship of complexity and new product purchase intention, was not statistically significant. However, H4-2 was supported since the difference between the path coefficients of the group with the low level of old product use frequency and the group with the high level, represented by the relationship of relative advantage and new product purchase intention was statistically significant. H5-2 was not supported since the difference between the path coefficients of the group with the low level of old product use frequency and the group with the high level, represented by the relationship of complexity and new product purchase intention, was not statistically significant. H6-2 was also not supported since the difference between the path coefficients of the group with the low level of old product use frequency and the group with the high level, represented by the relationship of compatibility and new product purchase intention, was not statistically significant. Conclusion - According to the results, only H4-2 among the hypotheses on the moderating effect of the old product use period and use frequency was statistically significant. Future research should focus on carrying out a detailed review of the hypothesis on the moderating effect of the old product usage period and frequency, find the cause, and connect this to potential new research.

어린이 광고의 설득전략에 대한 기호학적 해독 연구 (Decoding the Persuasion Strategies Used in the Advertising Targeted for Children)

  • 이 연구는 어린이 광고에 내재된 설득전략을 기호학적 시각에서 해독(decoding)해보고자 하는 시도이다. 현대사회에서 광고가 소비생활에 미치는 막대한 영향력을 고려할 때, 국내에서 어린이 광고에 대한 '비판적 연구(critical studies)'는 매우 부족한 것이 현실이다. 이는 많은 선진국들이 '어린이 광고'가 어린이 소비가치관 및 소비생활에 미치는 유해성이나 부정적 영향에 대하여 장기간 연구하고, 그 결과를 어린이 광고 정책과 비평의 틀로 활용하는 것과 매우 대조적인 현실이다. 이 연구는 사회적 '의사소통 도구'로서 그리고 미디어 산업의 생태학적 부분으로서 '어린이 광고'의 중요성을 인식하고, 어린이를 광고의 '수동적 수용자'로 단정하지 않고, '능동적·비판적 수용자'로서 능력을 배양하기 위한 기초자료와 비판적 담론을 구축해보는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이 연구에서는 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 어린이 광고를 수집하여 '표현기법(화용적 양태)'과 광고에 내재된 설득 '소구점(appeals)'과 '전제(premises),' 소비문화적 '이데올로기(ideology)'를 분석함으로써 궁극적으로 광고주의 의도된 정교한 설득전략을 해독해 보고자 하였다. 특히 기호학적 접근을 통하여, 어린이 광고에서 소비 기호들의 화용적 체계와 의미전달 체계 그리고 그 이데올로기가 '어떻게' 생성, 유지, 강화되며, 어린이를 향한 '전략적인' 구매 설득 수단으로 이용되는가를 살펴보는데 연구의 주안점을 두었다.
