Influence of The Quality of Work Life on Organizational Effectiveness and Customer Orientation in 119 Paramedic's (119구급대원들의 근로생활의 질이 조직유효성과 고객지향성에 미치는 영향)

  • This study examined the influence of the quality of work life on the organizational effectiveness and customer orientation in 119 paramedics. This study also offers basic data for improving the quality of emergency medical services in the future. A survey was conducted from February 3. 2019 through May 7, 2019, on 308 male and female fire officers in Daegu, North Gyeongsang Province. The collected data was analyzed using SPSS 20.0 version, and frequency analysis, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were carried out. First, there was a positive correlation among the QWL of the 119 paramedics, their OE and CO. Second, the QWL (personal, management dimension) of the 119 paramedic's was a factor that affected OE and job satisfaction. Third, the QWL (personal, management dimension) of the 119 paramedics had an impact on the CO. (ED note: please check all this and it was not clear. It may be correct now.)Forth, the impact of the OE of the 119 paramedics on the CO exerted a significant influence on the OE and job satisfaction. Given the findings of the study, the QWL of 119 paramedics should be improved to heighten paramedics' welfare to promote the quality of emergency medical services.

The Effect of Organizational Justice on Organizational Support and Leader-Member Exchange(LMX) Within ICT Corporates for Fire Prevention Through Organizational Commitment (ICT소방 기업의 조직공정성이 조직후원인식과 LMX를 통해 조직몰입에 미치는 영향)

  • This research aims to examine the cause-and-effect relationship between Organizational Justice and Organizational Commitment within ICT corporates for fire prevention, through Leader-Member Exchange(LMX) and Organizational Support. A survey was conducted to corporate employees from staff members to executives. A total of 316 responses were collected during two weeks from May 1st to 17th, 2019, and were analyzed in this research. The result of the theory on ICT fire prevention was as follows: First, Distributive Justice has significant influence on Organizational Support, while it does not on LMX. Second, Procedural Justice has significant influence on both Organizational Support and LMX. Third, while Interactional Justice does not have significant influence on Organizational Support, LMX showed significant influence. Fourth, Organizational Support has significant influence on Organizational Commitment. Fifth, LMX has significant influence on Organizational Commitment. This research is academically significant in that it applied the Justice Theory on ICT corporates for fire prevention from staff members to executives. It is considered so, since existing researches mainly address on the status of technologies and policies on how to link fire prevention and ICT, and not on fair compensation based on Organization Justice theory. Practical significance can be found in its suggestions to improving organizational culture from top-down to bottom-up, thus creating free and engaging atmosphere at work. It is therefore needed to conduct further researches that categorize executives by their traits, and examine factors influencing on organizational commitment within ICT corporates for fire prevention.

  • 기상이변과 사회구조의 복잡화에 따라 재난의 유형이 다양화되고, 발생 빈도와 피해 규모가 증가함에 따라 정부는 안전관련 법령의 정비, 소방방재청의 신설 등 “국민이 편안한 안전사회”를 건설하기 위해 재난관련 각종 정책, 조직 및 정보시스템을 정비하고 있다. 본 연구는 범국가 차원에서 안전관리 관련 기관간 업무 및 유기적 연계와 정보 공동 활용을 위하여 국가안전관리정보시스템 구축시 이식성과 상호운용성 확보를 위한 기술참조모델과 표준프로파일을 설계한다.

  • 21C 고도의 도시화로 인하여 인구과밀화 및 초대형 초고층 건물의 비약적인 확산은 재난의 규모와 양상에 변화를 가져오며, 도시형 재난재해에 대비한 새로운 대책의 필요성을 과제로 안기고 있다. 뿐 만 아니라 지구온난화 및 뉴 테러리즘의 경향은 복합적이고 동시다발적인 재난으로 인한 다수인명피해에 대한 방호기능의 중요성과 통합재난관리 시스템의 중요성을 더욱 부각시키고 있다. 이러한 거시환경의 변화에 따라 다양화된 위험요인에 대한 체계적 대비와 효과적 대응을 위해 분야별 전문대응조직과 스페셜리스트 양성이 시급한 과제로 대두되고 있으며, 특히 재난대응단계에서 지진 등 건물붕괴로 인하여 동시다발적인 초대형 재난재해 시 효율적인 인명구조 활동의 대책으로 도시탐색구조 체계의 선진화 방안이 필요하며, 이를 위하여 소방공무원을 대상으로 실시한 의식조사 분석결과를 제시하고자 한다.

  • In recent years, the surroundings of Fire have rapidly changed and citizens need for Fire have been demanding very high. Under these situations, in order for satisfaction to all these demands, Seoul Emergency Operations Center have made improvements as the core fire operational center in Korea. However, There have been so many problems happening in the middle of receiving calls from malice citizens of Seoul. The purpose of this study is to scrutinize current operations focused on fire fighters in Seoul Emergency Operations Center and to cope with how to overcome these problem by using AMOS 21 & SPSS Statistics 21. The result of this study presents that how we can find to be Seoul Emergency Operations Center running well. And This study is applied to seoul fire policies or helped to setting them up.

  • In this study, We analyzed that organization of fire service agencies, personnel management and firefighting activities. As a results, Many problems were found out, about ratio of administrative to firefighting personnel, retirement age, promotion, employment, Etc. T herefore, In order to carry out there mission faithful in disasters scene, We proposed that reduction of the number of administrative firefighter, abolition of the employment system candidates for fire executive positions, reducing of the retirement age and changing of the promotion system.

A Study on the Correlation Between Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment of Firefighters (소방공무원의 직무만족과 조직몰입의 상관관계에 관한 연구)

  • This study attempted to examine the relationship between organizational satisfaction and organizational commitment of firefighters. As for the overall level job-only and organizational commitment, the average was3.80points and 3.49points(out of 5points), respectively, and among the items of organizational satisfaction, 'I believe I should be held accountable for the results of my work.' was the highest, 'I think I chose a good job as a firefighter.' was the highest in the items of organizational commitment. The higher the class, the higher the job satisfaction and organizational commitment satisfaction, and there was a statistically significant difference(p<.01). Based on this study, it is considered that expanded research and repeated are necessary to generalize the results of the effect of .organizational satisfaction of firefighters I on organizational commitment.

Current Status of Organizational Citizenship Behavior Awareness Among Firefighters (소방공무원의 조직시민행동 의식실태 분석)

  • Organizational citizenship behavior refers to the behavior of faithfully performing one's duties and being faithful to other roles. Firefighters' awareness of organizational citizenship behavior is closely related to national and individual safety and is very important. The smooth communication and cooperative attitude of fire department employees means organic unity at the disaster site. The purpose of this study was to analyze the awareness of organizational citizenship behavior among firefighters. As a result of analyzing the overall level of organizational citizenship behavior of firefighters, the average score was 3.83 points (out of 5). In particular, significant implications emerged regarding work-related appointment times and words and actions between co-workers. In the future, we hope that firefighting policy authorities will make a lot of efforts and academic research by subsequent generations will be conducted to make firefighting more trustworthy to the public.

A Study on the Organizational Justice of Fire Service Agency (소방기관의 조직공정성에 관한 연구)

  • This study is about the organizational justice of fire service agency for organizational commitment and motivation of firefighters. The research data were collected from 355 firefighters nationwide using the On-nara Administrative Work Management System 2.0. The statistical processing method of the research data was analyzed using the statistical program SPSS 28.0. The study results showed that the overall level of firefighters' perception of organizational justice was slightly lower than normal, with an average score of 2.85. Regarding gender, male firefighters were more likely to believe that the organization was injustice than female firefighters. In addition, organizational justice was found to be lower among fire sergeants by rank and first aiders by responsibility.

  • 현재 심각한 재해에 대한 임박성은 일부 관계자 이외는 감지하지 못하고 있는 것이 현실이다. 재해와 같은 위기에 관한 지식이나 이에 대처하기 위한 기술은 어린 시절부터 습득해 두어야 할 기초적 지식 및 능력이라고 생각한다. 그럼에도 불구하고 대지진 발생이 임박하고 있음을 타인의 일처럼 생각하고 있다는 점은 재해와 같은 위기를 자신의 일처럼 생각하고 어떻게 대처해야 할 것인가에 대해 스스로 생각할 수 있는 기회가 충분하지 않다는 것에서 유래한다. 즉 체계적 실천적인 방재 위기관리교육이 충분하게 실시되지 않고 있다는 점을 지적할 수 있을 것이다. 특히 지역주민의 생명 신체 재산을 보호해야 하는 지방자치단체의 소방담당직원의 실천적 대응능력은 말할 것도 없고 수장(首長)의 리스크 관리능력에 대해 의구심을 가지고 있다. 또한 지역 자체의 방재력 강화라는 관점에서는 자주방재조직 등의 지역방재리더나 지역주민 개개인의 방재능력을 향상시켜야 할 필요성이 강조되고 있다. 최근에 건설된 신관저를 계기로 변화된 방재 위기관리 시스템에 관한 정책적 동향을 살펴본다. 아울러 방재 위기관리에 대한 인재양성을 위한 교육의 일환으로 구축된 e-Learning System인 e-College의 구성 및 관련 내용을 살펴봄으로써 정책적 시사점을 도출하고자 한다. 지방자치단체의 방재 위기관리에 있어서 수장 등 간부직원의 의식과 자세가 지역의 방재력을 크게 좌우하는 것으로 볼 수 있다. 방재담당직원 소방직단원에 대한 교육과제를 들 수 있겠다. 고도로 도시화된 사회가 재해에 대한 취약성이 높아지고 있다. 지역의 방재리더, 재해자원봉사, 주민에 대한 교육과제로 도도부현, 시정촌, 대학에서 방재 위기관리 교육이 실시되고 있지만, 1999년 총리부(總理府)에서 여론조사를 보면 자주방재활동에 참가한 경험이 없는 사람이 전체 70%를 차지하고 있다. 기업에 대한 교육과제로 재해발생시에 사원이나 고객의 안전 확보, 사업의 피해경감 조기복구에 의한 경제에 대한 영향을 경감하기 위한 준비를 충실히 해야 한다.
