RFM으로 생성된 레이더 정사영상 자료의 정확도 분석

  • 사면관측 원리에 의해 획득되는 레이더 영상은 레이더파의 입사각도와 지표면의 경사도 및 방위각에 따라 기하학적 왜곡이 발생하게 된다. 전 국토의 70% 이상이 산악지형인 국내 여건을 감안한다면 레이더 영상의 정량적 활용을 위해서는 정밀한 기하보정이 반드시 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 RADSARSAT-1 SAR 영상에 대하여 세 가지 기하보정 방법을 적용하였다. 먼저 GCP 만을 이용한 단순기하보정을 수행하였고, 두번째로 위성의 자세와 위치정보 등을 이용하여 센서모델을 통한 보정을 하였다. 마지막으로 다양한 영상자료에 적용할 수 있는 RFM(Rational Function Model)을 이용하여 기하보정을 하였다. 이 세 가지 방법으로 기하보정된 레이더 영상의 위치정확도를 모의 레이더 영상과 비교 분석하였다. 또한 RFM을 이용한 보정결과를 검증하기 위하여 SIR-C 영상을 추가로 분석하였다.

Particle filter for Correction of GPS location data of a mobile robot (이동로봇의 GPS위치 정보 보정을 위한 파티클 필터 방법)

  • This paper proposes a method which corrects location data of GPS for navigation of outdoor mobile robot. The method uses a Bayesian filter approach called the particle filter(PF). The method iterates two procedures: prediction and correction. The prediction procedure calculates robot location based on translational and rotational velocity data given by the robot command. It incorporates uncertainty into the predicted robot location by adding uncertainty to translational and rotational velocity command. Using the sensor characteristics of the GPS, the belief that a particle assumes true location of the robot is calculated. The resampling from the particles based on the belief constitutes the correction procedure. Since usual GPS data includes abrupt and random noise, the robot motion command based on the GPS data suffers from sudden and unexpected change, resulting in jerky robot motion. The PF reduces corruption on the GPS data and prevents unexpected location error. The proposed method is used for navigation of a mobile robot in the 2011 Robot Outdoor Navigation Competition, which was held at Gwangju on the 16-th August 2011. The method restricted the robot location error below 0.5m along the navigation of 300m length.

Distortion Center Estimation using FOV Model and 2D Pattern (FOV 모델과 2D 패턴을 이용한 왜곡 중심 추정 기법)

  • This paper presents a simple method to estimate center of distortion and correct radial distortion from fish-eye lens. If the center of image is not locate that of lens in a straight line, the disadvantage of FOV model is low accurate because of correcting distortion without estimated centre of distortion. We propose a method accurately estimating Distortion center using FOV model and 2D pattern from wide angle lens. Our method determines the center of distortion in least error between straight lines and curves with FOV model. The results of experimental measurements on synthetic and real data are presented.

  • 정지궤도에서는 세계 최초의 해양관측위성으로 개발된 정지궤도 해양위성(GOCI, Geostationary Ocean Color Imager)은 통신해양기상위성(COMS, Communication, Ocean and Meterological Satellite)의 탑재체로서 2009년말 발사 예정이다. 정지궤도 해양위성의 복사보정은 센서의 전기적 특성에 의한 잡음을 제거하기 위한 암흑전류 교정(Dark Current Correction)을 먼저 수행한 다음, 주운영지상국인 해양위성센터(KOSC, Korea Ocean Satellite Center)에서 수신된 위성의 원시자료의 Digital Number(DN)를 실제 해양원격탐사에서 이용하는 물리량인 복사휘도(Radiance, $W/m^2/{\mu}m/sr$)로 변환하는 복사보정을 수행한다. 정확도 높은 복사보정을 수행하기 위해서는 기준광원의 복사휘도와 센서의 물리적 특성을 정확하게 알아야 한다. 정지궤도 해양위성 궤도상 복사보정(on-orbit radiometric calibration)에서는 태양이 기준광원이기 때문에, 기준 태양복사모델(Thuillier 2004 Solar Irradiance Model)에서 지구-태양간 거리 변화(1년 주기)를 보정한 태양의 방사도 (Irradiance)를 이용하고, 태양입사각에 대한 태양광 확산기의 감쇄 특성 변화를 고려하여 센서에 입력되는 복사휘도를 계산한다. 센서의 물리적 특성으로 인한 복사보정의 오차를 줄이기 위해 우주방사선 및 우주먼지(space debris)로 인해 위성 운용기간 중 그 특성이 저하되는 태양광 확산기(solar Diffuser)의 특성변화를 모니터링하기 위한 DAMD(Diffuser Aging Monitoring Device)를 이용한다. 정지궤도 해양위성 주관운영기관인 한국해양연구원의 해양위성센터에서는 정지궤도 해양위성 복사보정을 수행하기 위한 S/W를 통신해양기상위성 자료처리시스템 개발사업의 일환으로 개발하였으며, 관련 성능 시험을 수행하고 있다.

  • 다목적실용위성2호 영상자료의 절대복사 보정계수 산출을 위하여 위성 통과시각에 맞추어 2007년 2월 3일 현장실험을 수행하였다. 측정기기로는 Spectroradiometer GER-3700을 사용하였으며, 관측 Target은 아스팔트, 흙, 콘크리트, 잔디, Tarp 53%로 각 Target의 복사량을 측정한 후 지표면 반사도로 변환하였다. 현장에서 관측된 지표면 반사도를 복사전달모델 MODTRAN의 압력 자료로 사용하여 대기권 밖에서 관측될 복사량을 모의할 수 있었다. 마지막으로, 모의된 각 Target의 복사량과 실제 위성 센서가 관측한 DN(Digital Number) 값의 관계식을 이용하여 절대복사 보정계수를 산출하였다. 본 연구 결과는 센서의 반옹도가 반영되지 않은 임시 결과이며, 추후 보다 많은 현장실험 결과를 추가하여 정확한 절대복사 보정계수를 산출할 계획이다.

  • The sensor based control system has some sensor fault while operating in the field. In this paper, a sensor fault detection and reconstruction system for a sun tracking controller has been researched by using polynomial regression and principle component analysis approach. The developed sun tracking system controls tow actuators with sensor based mechanism as on-line control and sun orbit information as off-line control, alternatively. To show the validity of the developed system, several experiments were illustrated.

Development and Performance Analysis of a Near Real-Time Sensor Model Correction System for Frame Motion Imagery (프레임동영상의 근실시간 센서모델 보정시스템 개발 및 성능분석)

  • Due to the increasing demand for more rapid, precise and accurate geolocation of the targets on video frames from UAVs, an efficient and timely method for correcting sensor models of motion imagery is required. In this paper, we propose a method to adjust or correct sensor models of motion imagery frames using space resection via image matching with reference data. The proposed method adopts image matching between the motion imagery frames and the reference frames which are synthesized from reference data. Ground or reference control points are generated or selected through the matching process in near real time, and are used for space resection to get adjusted sensor models. Finally, more precise and accurate geolocation of the targets can possibly be done on the fly, and we have got the promising result on performance analysis in terms of the geolocation quality.

A Dynamic Correction Technique of Time-Series Data using Anomaly Detection Model based on LSTM-GAN (LSTM-GAN 기반 이상탐지 모델을 활용한 시계열 데이터의 동적 보정기법)

  • This paper proposes a new data correction technique that transforms anomalies in time series data into normal values. With the recent development of IT technology, a vast amount of time-series data is being collected through sensors. However, due to sensor failures and abnormal environments, most of time-series data contain a lot of anomalies. If we build a predictive model using original data containing anomalies as it is, we cannot expect highly reliable predictive performance. Therefore, we utilizes the LSTM-GAN model to detect anomalies in the original time series data, and combines DTW (Dynamic Time Warping) and GAN techniques to replace the anomaly data with normal data in partitioned window units. The basic idea is to construct a GAN model serially by applying the statistical information of the window with normal distribution data adjacent to the window containing the detected anomalies to the DTW so as to generate normal time-series data. Through experiments using open NAB data, we empirically prove that our proposed method outperforms the conventional two correction methods.

Development of Correction Formulas for KMA AAOS Soil Moisture Observation Data (기상청 농업기상관측망 토양수분 관측자료 보정식 개발)

  • Soil moisture data have been collected at 11 agrometeorological stations operated by The Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA). This study aimed to verify the accuracy of soil moisture data of KMA and develop a correction formula to be applied to improve their quality. The soil of the observation field was sampled to analyze its physical properties that affect soil water content. Soil texture was classified to be sandy loam and loamy sand at most sites. The bulk density of the soil samples was about 1.5 g/cm3 on average. The content of silt and clay was also closely related to bulk density and water holding capacity. The EnviroSCAN model, which was used as a reference sensor, was calibrated using the self-manufactured "reference soil moisture observation system". Comparison between the calibrated reference sensor and the field sensor of KMA was conducted at least three times at each of the 11 sites. Overall, the trend of fluctuations over time in the measured values of the two sensors appeared similar. Still, there were sites where the latter had relatively lower soil moisture values than the former. A linear correction formula was derived for each site and depth using the range and average of the observed data for the given period. This correction formula resulted in an improvement in agreement between sensor values at the Suwon site. In addition, the detailed approach was developed to estimate the correction value for the period in which a correction formula was not calculated. In summary, the correction of soil moisture data at a regular time interval, e.g., twice a year, would be recommended for all observation sites to improve the quality of soil moisture observation data.

A Comparison of Correction Models for the Prediction of Tropospheric Propagation Delay of GPS Signals (GPS 신호의 대류층 지연 예측을 위한 보정모델의 비교)

  • Since GPS's SA cancellation, the interest is converged in correction of errors such as atmospheric delay and multipath that weight had been small relatively, which can improve the accuracy of positioning through modelling research. The aim of this study have an extensive comparison of the various tropospheric delay models (Goad&Goodman, A&K, Hopfield and Sasstamoinen) and mapping functions(Niell, Chao, and Marini). Expecially, the tropospheric delay amounts by change of the GPS satellite elevations, and the delay by various combination between zenith delay models and mapping functions, compared and examined. For this, programmed the total delay models and the combined models which can be described as a product of the delay at the zenith and a mapping function. The result of study, especially, as the minimum elevation of included data is reduced under $10^{\circ}$, it was considered to be reasonable that the prediction of tropospheric delay considering combination and mapping character of functions about the transition of the zenith delay to a delay with arbitrary zenith angle.
