This research aims to examine the difference in participation motivation, participation experience and identity negotiation between generations of overseas Koreans in the National Sports Festival(NSF). The subjects for this study were 360 overseas Koreans who took part in the 100th NSF held in Seoul in 2019. The results are as follows; First, while the first generation participated in the NSF because of visiting family and maintaining Korean identity, the second generation took part in the event for self-realization. Second, the second generation had more negative experiences than the second generation during the NSF. Third, while the first generation negotiated more identity with origin, the second generation had more identity with settlement.

본 논문에서는 텍스트 마이닝 기법을 이용하여 MZ 세대를 이해하는 키워드를 도출하고자 한다. MZ 세대의 비중이 높아지면서, MZ 세대를 분석하려고 하는 많은 연구들이 수행되고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 MZ 세대를 이해하기 위하여 네이트 판의 연령별 게시판 크롤링을 통해 빅데이터를 수집하였다. 그리고 텍스트 마이닝 기법을 활용하여 10대, 20대, 30대의 각각의 키워드를 도출할 수 있었다. 본 논문에서 도출된 키워드는 이는 MZ 세대를 이해하는데 중요한 키워드로 볼 수 있을 것이다. 향후 연구로는 MZ 세대와 기성 세대를 비교하기 위하여 추가 크롤링을 통해 세대 간 비교 연구를 수행하고자 한다.

The perception of aging experience and successful aging depends on birth cohort as Korean society has rapidly changed for the last several decades. This article aims to empirically explain inter-generational difference in the perceptions of successful aging with an emphasis on the social relationships using a national survey data set by face-to-face interviews with a structured questionnaire. The respondents are classified into colony war, restoration, democratization, and information generation. Major findings are as follows: The perceptive differences are found between colony war and restoration generation, and democratization and information generation. The difference are clear in the aspects of expectation for children and parents-children relationship. The inter-generational difference remains even after controlling other relevant factors. Policies and programs, therefore, should 1) attempt to help inter-generational understanding, and 2) consider the yet-existing uniqueness of each generation.

This study was to identify generational difference of values of life and factors influencing turnover of Korean nurses. Total 294 nurses of generation-X, Y, and Z participated. Analysis of variance(ANOVA) and Multiple Regression Analyse was conducted. The result of the study was that Gen-X and Y nurses considered family life as the most important thing in life and Importance of work was the next by Gen-X and leisure time by Gen-Y. However, Gen-Z nurses regarded leisure time as the most important. These findings indicate that influencing factors on turnover of Korean nurses were different by nurses generations. These results indicates that it is necessary to develop different strategies by generations in order to manage turnover issues for Korean nurses.

'저가의 고속 무선데이터 서비스'를 지향하는 이동통신 기술진화의 경제성, 최근 모바일 데이터 트래픽의 급증에 따른 3세대 이동통신 망으로의 대응 한계 등에 따라 국내외에서 LTE 및 4세대 이동통신으로 진화가 본격화되고 있다. 차세대 이동통신 망으로의 조기 진화 시 발생하는 참여주체간 효용의 trade-off 문제, 이동통신 사업자의 망 진화 요인분석 등의 차세대 이동통신 망으로의 진화과정에서 발생하는 주요 이슈를 검토하고, 4세대 이동통신용 주파수 조기 확보, 차세대 망 투자에 대한 정책적 인센티브 제공 등 국내 차세대 이동통신 망 투자를 촉진할 수 있는 정책방향을 제시한다.

The objective of this study was to identify generational difference of work value and job engagement. Total 256 nurses participated in Korea. Analysis of variance(ANOVA) was conducted to investigate the generational differences of work value and job engagement and factors of work values influencing to job engagement was identified by multiple regression analysis. Nurses considered financial benefits, job security, and work environment as the most important thing and autonomy, possibilities of promotion, and contribution to society were considered less important in their work life. Y and Z-generation nurses respected more to interests at work and time availability for private life than X-generation in work life.

본 연구는 노인 단독세대와 자녀동거세대 노인들의 가족 및 거주형태, 경제적 상황, 건강 및 의료, 여가활동 등의 생활실태를 파악함으로써 단독세대 노인과 자녀동거세대 노인들의 복지 증진을 위한 서비스 향상과 노인복지정책의 방향 정립에 필요한 시사점을 제공하는 데에 그 목적이 있다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 문헌연구와 설문조사를 병행하였다. 문헌연구로는 고령화 사회와 노인문제, 노인의 동거형태, 노인의 생활실태에 대해 이론적 고찰을 하였으며, 설문조사는 서울시에 거주하는 노인 단독세대 75명과 자녀동거세대의 노인 75명으로, 총 150명을 대상으로 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS WIN 13.0 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다.

Examining the experiences of different generations, this study assesses the subjective well-being(SWB) from eudaemonic perspective. Data was drawn from a survey of 1,214 adults in Korea. This research conducted descriptive statistics and multivariate regression analysis. Results show that even assessed from eudaemonic approach, material factors are still essential in explaining the variation of SWB. People in industrialization generation are less happy than other generations. Satisfaction with family and different types of social participation activities are related to SWB. This study suggests needs for focused attention on the factors affecting SWB in each generation.

The purpose of this study is to suggest design characteristics of picture books for silver generation empirically through academic consideration of necessity and characteristics of picture books targeting silver generation. Through an analytical result of literature materials such as library and information science, pedagogy, and literature therapeutics, and aging phenomenon, picture books help mental and physical health of silver generation, but picture books for silver generation are insufficient in comparison with demand. Therefore, a theoretical basis of study and development of fairy tale books for silver generation is acutely needed. This study suggested that close attention for characteristics of silver generation is needed to solve a problem about dyslexia of silver generation in story, picture(expression, size, layout, structure, and color), and typography of characteristic factors of picture on designing fairy tale books for silver generation, suggesting needs to develop picture books reflecting characteristics such as visual organ, body function, and psychological factor of silver generation. In addition, design characteristics for composition of picture books for silver generation will be used as part of advanced data in a study on solid analytical data through an actual analysis on silver generation in the future.

이 연구는 2003년에 실시된 한국종합사회조사(KGSS)의 가족모듈과 국제사회조사기구(ISSP)의 2002년 가족모듈을 이용해 한국의 가족가치를 국제적인 수준에서 비교 분석하고 있다. 한국에서는 최근 여러 가치와 태도가 급변하고 있다고 믿어지고 있다. 그 결과 세대간의 가치 및 태도의 차이가 크고, 이는 사회내 세대간 갈등의 뿌리라고도 이해되고 있다. 그러나 이에 대한 과학적인 검증은 많지 않다. 이 연구는 이런 시점에서 한국의 여러 가지 중 가족가치의 영역에서 세대간 가치가 크게 나타나고 있는지, 국제적인 수준에서 보면 우리나라의 세대간 가족가치 차이가 크다고 볼 수 있는지를 kurtosis라는 지표를 통해 분석하고 있다. 결혼, 동거, 이혼 및 부부의 성역할에 관한 가치 및 태도를 분석해 본 결과 한국인의 가족가치는 가톨릭이 지배적인 필리핀의 가족가치와 비슷할 정도로 매우 보수적이고 전통적인 것으로 나타났다. 일반적으로 가치관의 변화는 경제발전 정도에 크게 영향을 받는 것으로 알려져 있다. 그런데 한국은 한국보다 경제발전 정도가 크게 뒤져 있으면서 보수적인 가족가치관이 지배적인 필리핀과 가족가치의 수준이 비슷하게 나타나고 있다. 세대간 갈등의 원인이라고 볼 수 있을 정도로 가족가치의 세대간 차이가 큰지 kurtosis를 이용해 분석해 본 결과, 한국보다 오히려 일본의 세대간 가치관의 차이가 더 큰 것으로 나타났다. 한국에 세대간 가치관의 차이가 있지만, 외국과 비교해보면 한국의 세대간 가치관 차이가 더 두드러진다고는 보기 힘들다.
