90년대 이후 계속해서 이동통신 기술은 발전에 발전을 거듭해왔다 1세대 아날로그 이동통신에서 2세대 디지털 이동통신 그리고 2.5세대라고 하는 PCS(Personal Communication Service)에 이어 3세대 이동통신의 혁명이라는 IMT2000 서비스가 눈앞으로 다가왔다. 1,2 세대 이동통신이 음성통학 위주의 서비스를 제공하였다면, 2.5세대에서는 소비자의 욕구가 음성통화를 벗어나 데이터서비스를 요구함에 따라 점차적으로 데이터 서비스에 대한 비중이 증가하게 되었다. 3세대 이동통신에서는 보다 빠르고, 보다 많은 데이터를 전송하기 위한 방안이 고려되었다. 본 논문에서는 2.5세대 이동통신에서 제공되는 데이터 서비스를 이용하여 GPS 모듈과 연동하여 물류단말기에 응용할 수 있는 소프트웨어 모듈을 구현하였다.

'저가의 고속 무선데이터 서비스'를 지향하는 이동통신 기술진화의 경제성, 최근 모바일 데이터 트래픽의 급증에 따른 3세대 이동통신 망으로의 대응 한계 등에 따라 국내외에서 LTE 및 4세대 이동통신으로 진화가 본격화되고 있다. 차세대 이동통신 망으로의 조기 진화 시 발생하는 참여주체간 효용의 trade-off 문제, 이동통신 사업자의 망 진화 요인분석 등의 차세대 이동통신 망으로의 진화과정에서 발생하는 주요 이슈를 검토하고, 4세대 이동통신용 주파수 조기 확보, 차세대 망 투자에 대한 정책적 인센티브 제공 등 국내 차세대 이동통신 망 투자를 촉진할 수 있는 정책방향을 제시한다.

Using panel data (KLIPS) we examine the relation between respondents' occupation and their fathers' occupation. We divide the urban employed into four subgroups according to their occupation: employer, self-employed, white collar worker and blue collar worker. We find that the effects of fathers' occupation on respondents' occupation are mediated by the level of respondents' education. The effects of respondents' initial occupation on their current occupation are also significant. In terms of the extent of mobility, we can rank the occupational groups as follows: employer, upper layer of self-employed, white collar worker, lower layer of self-employed and blue collar. In order to encourage occupational mobility, we should level the opportunity of education among different occupational groups.

돌아보건대 난 그 우울하고 황량한 젊음의 연대을 통과하는 유일한 위안의 수단으로 우선 손쉽게 접할 수 있었던 술을 택했던 것 같다. 그러나 동시에 나는, 아니 엇비슷한 연배의 세대들은 마냥 술로만 해결할 수 없는 암흑의 현실을 책을 통해 또한 뛰어넘고자 했었던 것 같다.

This study was carried out to investigate the time-trends of genetic parameters of the dosed flock population which selected for improving egg production. Data for two layer pure lines, Line-W (Single Comb White Leghorn) and Line-B (brown layer) which have been maintained at the Mani Breeding Farm were collected from 1980 to 1985 during 5 generations. The effective number of parents per generation ranged from 148 to 366 in Line-W and 85 to 355 in Line-B, and the cumulative expected inbreeding coefficients during 5 generations of selection were 15％ and 1.6％. So inbreeding could not be considered a critical factor on estimating the genetic parameters, heritabilities and genetic correlations Heritabilities of EN 300 and EN 400, primary two selected traits were significantly decreased during 5 generations but the estimates of the other 03its not showed the consistent decreasing pattern significantly. No time trends of probable consequence were evident in the genetic correlation coefficients of the traits studied. The reason for that situation was attributed to the fact that selection was conducted for multiple objectives and the relative importance of selection for the studied traits were not consistent by generations.

This study investigated the changes in the fitness of brown planthopper, NilapaHata lugens, to several rice varieties with different resistance background, after multi-generational selection on a resistant rice variety. A susceptible strain of brown planthopper (Dongjin-5) had been reared on the Chungchungbyeo with Bph1 resistance gene for three generations (Chungchung-G3) and six generations (Chungchung-G6), then the fitness change was evaluated by measuring their longevity, fecundity, preferences, and survivorships on the varieties with various background of resistance. After being selected three to six generations on Chungchungbyeo, feeding preference, adult longevity, and fecundity increased, where as nymphal period reduced when they were reared on various varieties with Bph1 gene. The egg Periods were not much different among the varieties fed on, except for the Chungchung-G6 on the rice varieties of Milyang63 (bph2 gene) and Gayabyeo (Bph1+bph2 gene). These results suggest that the susecptible Donajin-5 (Biotype-1) can be easily converted to a resistant biotype-2 capable of overcoming the resistant varieties with Bph 1 gene.

Because of a rising in the standard of living and the development of medical technology, Korea is expected to become an aging society more than 14% elderly population and the silver generation will be responsible for the large portion of economic activities. The silver generation has relatively diminished in perception, learning, and exercise due to the physical aging. Therefore, it is important the development of game contents which can constantly provide the maintenance function of physical and mental health and the functional exercise with spending the leisure time. In this paper, we suggest a design method for developing the game contents which are able to help the silver generation to strengthen their lower extremities and to enjoy their leisure time. The proposed method will enable to lead the silver generation to carry on the physical activities with the amusement of playing a game through the functional design concepts appropriate for the ability of the silver generation's perception and physical activities, an adaptive game process customized by the individual capability and a user-friendly sensory interface.

This study aim to demonstrate and categorize the status of level of mobile information utilization of the 2030 youth generation, and to identify factors that may affect the digital divide within the generation. For this purpose, 1779 data were analyzed using materials for the 2018 digital divide survey in Korea Ministry of Science and ICT. According to the level of information utilization, the consumers were categorized into three types : reference group (46.5%), high utilization group (27.2%), and low utilization group (26.3%). There were statistically significant differences in demographics variable, consumer capabilities, living satisfaction by type of consumer. In addition, the factors influencing the digital divide of the high utilization group and low utilization group were identified compared to the reference group. It is meaningful that this study confirmed the actual gap of information utilization and raised the possibility of the digital divide within the 2030 youth generation.

키케로는 ‘역사는 지나간 시간을 입증하는 목격자다. 즉 역사를 통해 현실을 밝아지고 추억은 생명력을 얻고 일상사의 지침을 제공받으며 태고의 소식들을 전해 받는다’고 했다. 또한 ‘역사는 현재와의 끝임 없는 대화’라고 한 역사가도 있고, ‘역사는 끊임없는 도전과 응전’의 과정이라고 말한 역사가도 있다. 그리고 크로체는 ‘모든 역사는 현대사일 뿐’이라고 했다. 어찌되었든 역사를 모르는 사람이나 민족은 오늘이라고 하는 현실이나 미래를 열어 가는데 있어 바른 방향이나 방법을 제대로 찾기 어렵다는 생각하는 것이 보편적이다. 특히 우리나라에서는 뿌리가 얼마나 중요한가. 자기의 역사를 제대로 아는 것, 그것이 오늘날을 잘 살아가기 위한 첫 번째 조건일 지도 모르겠다. 우리도서관계는 어떨까? 요즘과 같이 세대간의 단절이 점점 심화되는 상황에서 한 도서관 내에서도 직원들 간에 세대 차이를 느끼지 않을 수 없을 것이고, 그러한 세대 차이는 결국 도서관 운영의 합리성이나 직원들간 연대를 저해하는 요소가 될 수 있다. 따라서 세대간 대화의 촉진은 이제 조직의 구성과 운용에 중요한 과제가 되고 있다. 그래서 우리 ‘도서관문화’는 이번 월간으로 전환하는 시점에 지난 한 세대 전 우리 도서관계는 어떠했는지를 되짚어보는 지면을 마련했다. 30년 전후의 도서관 사정을 되짚어보는 것은 그 때의 사정과 정신을 오늘에 되살려, 오늘을 살아가는 우리에게 삶의 지침이 되기를 바라며, 나아가 새로운 미래를 열어 가는데 필요한 정신적 근거를 찾아보고자 한다.

유전자 알고리즘(Genetic Algorithms)은 자연의 법칙에서 그 아이디어를 찾은 것으로 순회 방문자 문제(Traveling Salesman Problem : TSP) , 분배문제, 라우팅문제 등과 같은 전형적인 Combinatorial Optimization 문제에 적용되고 있다. 한편 이러한 유전자 알고리즘의 성능을 향상시키기 위해 알고리즘 실행과정에 적용할 수많은 이론과 경험적인 기법이 제시되고 있는데 이러한 기법들은 대부분 우수형질을 확보함으로써 최적의 값을 효과적으로 탐색하기 위한 것이다. 즉, 개체의 우수 형질 확보를 위한 부모 선택방법, 교차의 범위와 위치 및 방법, 그리고 돌연변이의 크기와 방법등이 포함된다. 본 연구에서는 자연의 법칙에서와 같이 자손 세대의 형질이 부모 세대보다 우수할 수 있음을 전제로 적응도 가중치에 의한 확률적인 방법에 의해서 선택하는 방법을 개선하여 부모세대가 같지 않게 하고, 우수형질이 유전되도록 하여 자손세대의 적응도가 부모세대보다 높도록 함으로써 최적의 값을 효과적으로 탐색할 수 있음을 실험하였다.
