  • 자가성장 소프트웨어란 동적인 상황 판단에 의거하여 스스로 자신의 기능과 컴포넌트 구성 능력을 성장시키는 소프트웨어를 말한다. 자가성장 소프트웨어는 자신의 환경을 모니터링 하여 사용자에게 적절한 행동을 제공하여 주는 지능형 로봇에 특히 필요하다. 지능형 로봇은 현재 자신이 가지고 있는 소프트웨어로는 해결할 수 없는 상황에 부딪힐 수 있고 이러한 경우 동적으로 소프트웨어 컴포넌트를 획득하여 이용하게 해주는 것이 자가성장 로봇 소프트웨어의 역할이다. 효율적인 컴포넌트의 획득과 관리를 위해 컴포넌트 저장소의 중요성이 부각되고, 자가성장 로봇 소프트웨어를 실현하기 위한 저장소 프레임워크를 ICU의 SemBots 프로젝트에서 개발 중에 있다. 본 논문에서는 저장소를 위한 요구조건과 구조를 기술하고 저장소 시스템을 위한 프로토타입을 제시한다.

The Linkage of Foreign Direct Investment, Economic Growth, and Environmental Regulations : Scale Effect and Technique Effect (외국인직접투자, 경제성장, 환경규제의 관계분석 : 규모효과와 기술효과를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this paper is to estimate the impact of foreign direct investment on environmental performance for 27 OECD countries using endogenous environmental policy model. The empirical test shows that with 1% increase in the ratio of inflow stock of foreign direct investment over domestic capital stock, emission on NOx and $CO_2$ will increase by 0.0071%(NOx) and 0.0165%($CO_2$) and 1% increase in the ratio of foreign capital stock induces 0.044%(fixed effect) and 0.047%(random effect) of economic growth. 1% increase of per labor total output increases 2.038%(fixed effect) or 1.890%(random effect) in reinforcement of environmental regulation. However, we could not confirm the Porter's hypothesis that the more strong environmental regulation leads technical innovation. The scale effects (0.0119, 0.0172) are estimated higher than the technical effects (-0.0048, -0.0007) in two pollutants (NOx, $CO_2$). It implies that each country needs to increase pollution abatement and control expenditure more aggressively to protect environment.

  • We analyzed the correlation among the GHG (Greenhouse Gas) emission, energy consumption and economic growth for the 6 specific regions in Korea by using Panel approaches with the test of the EKC hypothesis. We also analyzed the effects of environmental regulation on GHG and economic growth. The results show that by testing of the EKC (Environmental Kuznets Curve) hypothesis model,the effects of the environmental regulation and the structure of industries on GHC emission have a significant result on the regional analysis for SOx. For the NOx and TSP, only TK region passed the turning point of the EKC among the 6 specific regions. And, for the Co, the Central, Honam and the PUKN region passed the turning point of the EKC. This is because GHG emissions by the environment regulation had a weak path effect and also regional industry structures had a weak relation with regional GHG emissions.

  • 1990년대 중반이후 정보통신의 발달에 의한 인터넷의 활용이 전세계적으로 급속히 팽창하면서 사이버마켓이라는 새로운 시장형태하에서 전자상거래가 급속히 성장하고 있다. 인터넷 전자상거래의 성장은 기존의 유통구조를 오프라인으로부터 온라인으로 전환시키고 물류체계까지 변화시키고 있다. 전자상거래의 경우 인터넷과 같은 정보시스템의 발달에 의해 독자적으로 성장할 수 있는 것은 아니며, 실제거래를 위한 물류와 연계해서만이 가능하다. 따라서 전자상거래의 급속한 성장과 더불어 문전배송서비스(door-to-door delivery service)가 가능한 택배서비스가 급속히 증가하고 있다. 이러한 관점에서 도시내에서의 전자상거래에 의한 택배서비스시장 환경변화를 고려하여 전자상거래를 촉진시키는 어떤 요인이 택배서비스에 영향을 미치고 성장에 중요한 역할을 하는지를 파악해 보는 것도 흥미있는 일이라 하겠다. 본 연구는 시계열데이터를 이용하여 전자상거래에 의한 택배서비스시장의 상관관계를 검토하고 전자에 의한 후자의 성장요인을 분석해 보는데 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구에서는 택배서비스시장의 성장요인을 시장내부의 내적요인과 외부의 외적요인으로 구분하고, 외적요인을 다시 교통요인과 사회경제적 요인으로 구분하여 전자상거래를 사회경제적 요인으로 간주하였다. 그리고 이 사회경제적 요인으로서의 전자상거래에 의한 택배서비스시장의 인과관계성을 그랜저-심즈(Granger-Sims) 인과관계검정을 이용하여 분석하였다. 분석결과, 한국의 전자상거래는 EDI(전자문서교환)도입업체수, 인터넷 쇼핑몰수, 인터넷 이용자수, 전자상거래를 위한 법제도 체계 등의 증가에 의해 촉진되었으며, 이에 따라 택배서비스시장도 성장한 것으로 나타났다. 특히 정부주도에 의한 정보화추진이 전자상거래를 촉진시켜 택배서비스시장에 영향을 미친 것으로 분석되었다.

  • 정부는 더불어 잘사는 경제, 성장의 과실이 국민 모두에게 골고루 돌아가는 경제를 국정과제로 제시하면서 역동적인 벤처창업 생태계를 만들기 위해 창의적인 벤처기업과 혁신적 창업자 육성을 중점 추진하고 있다. 정부의 다양한 노력에 힘입어 벤처투자금액 및 기술창업기업이 지속적으로 증가하는 등 벤처창업 생태계가 지속적으로 개선되고 있으나 COVID-19 이후 성장률이 급격히 낮아지고 청년층의 실업률이 급등하는 등 우리 경제는 저성장 국면이 장기화되고 있는 상황이다. 경제의 성장 활력을 증진시켜 부가 가치를 높이기 위해서 벤처창업기업의 혁신과 성장을 통한 일자리 창출이 당면과제로 부각되고 있고 특히 4차 산업혁명 환경에서 글로벌 경쟁력을 갖춘 혁신형기업의 중요성이 더욱 높아지고 있는 상황에서 우리 경제의 당면 과제인 성장잠재력 회복과 일자리 창출을 위해서는 기술 기반 중심의 벤처창업의 활성화가 가장 효과적인 방안으로 제시되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 벤처창업기업의 혁신과 성장을 위한 정부의 다양한 육성시책을 고찰하고 기술 기반 벤처창업기업의 생존과 성장, 및 일자리에 미치는 특성을 분석하였다. 또한 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 벤처투자금액이 지속적으로 증가하고 있는 상황에서도 민간 금융기관 입장에서 벤처창업기업이 여전히 고(高)위험-저(低)수익 대상으로 여기고 있는 벤처투자시장의 구조적 문제점을 해결하기 위한 정책 대안을 제시하였다.

Key Factors in the Growth of Security Market and the future of Korean Security Industry (시큐리티 산업의 성장요인과 국내 시장전망)

  • World security market has continuously been growing since the 2000s. The growth rate seems to reach up to 7-8% annually. What is more, Korea is expected to be one of the most rapidly developing markets, Based of this view, this research investigates the principal drivers to have affected on the expansion of Korean security market over the past 20 years. In addition to that, this study also examines the influence of recent changes in the world economy and globalization, socio-demographic change, development of information technology on the future security market. The data reviewed in this study are official crime rates, socio-economic indicators, statistics from the National Police Agency and the business reports of a leading private security company. This study shows that several factors such as rising crime rates, lack of police capacities, national economic growth and rising household income have played important roles in development of Korean market. It is also expected to keep those positive affects on the future market. On the other side, in recent years, the security market seems to be increasingly affected by new social economic changes. Those are impact of last aging society, rapid increase of individual household and women's participation in labor market. These factors seem to increase personal and household needs for security service. World economy, globalization process and development of information technology are also deemed to give rise to social demands for surveillance, monitoring service and security in cyber space.

Evaluation of Growth Inhibition for Microcystis aeruginosa with Different Frequency of Ultrasonic Devices (초음파 장치의 주파수 변화에 따른 Microcystis aeruginosa의 성장억제 평가)

  • The growth inhibition effects of M. aeruginosa were verified using large volume (7.2 L) of algae samples and ultrasonication (high frequency of 1.6 MHz vs. low frequency of 23 kHz) in lab-scale experiment. The chlorophyll-a (chl-a) and cell number decreased gradually after 6 hr sonication with high frequency of 1.6 MHz whereas both decreased sharply after 6 hr sonication with low frequency of 23 kHz. Additionally, the first order degradation coefficient (k) values after sonication were greater than those during sonication. These results indicate that relatively low sonication energy per volume may affect the cell membrane and internal organs of M. aeruginosa in a slow and retarded manner and resulted in gradual decrease of cell numbers of M. aeruginosa. Based on the comparison of chl-a and cell number of M. aeruginosa after sonication, low frequency of 23 kHz is superior for growth inhibition of M. aeruginosa, since low frequency of 23 kHz easily penetrates the cell membrane and ruptures the internal organs including gas vesicles. As is evident in SEM and TEM images, ruptured cell membranes were clearly observed for low frequency of 23 kHz. Finally, the microcystin-LR in water is not detected and considered to be harmless in aquaculture systems.

  • A method to estimate the autotrophic maximum specific growth rate is presented in this paper. First of all, the concentration of nitrifier is simulated based on the amount of N nitrified, the sludge age and the default value for the decay coefficient. Secondly the OUR of the sludge with access of ammonia is measured. The maximum specific growth rate can be calculated as ${\mu}_{max,A}\;=\;OUR_{max,A}/Y_A$. It was demonstrated that the maximum specific growth rate of autotrophic biomass is not a constants but a time variable parameter. It is concluded that using $OUR_{max,A}$ for dynamic estimating maximum specific growth rate is a good approach and that using a constant value for the maximum specific growth rate over a longer period of time could not predict the performance of activated sludge plants.

  • Radiation at very low doses frequently has a stimulating or hermetic effect on growth of organism. Effects of growth and survival rate on various dose of gamma irradiation in the farm culture of juvenile abalone (Haliotis discus hannai) were determined in Hallim (Jeju) from February 2004 to January 2005. The initial shell length of abalone juveniles in this study was average $3.45{\pm}0.4cm$. A change of growth after irradiation $(0{\sim}20Gy)$ was observed for 48 weeks. The highest growth rate was observed in 4 Gy-irradiated group and the lowest growth rate was observed in 20 Gy-irradiated group. The additional research about biochemical changes on juvenile abalone after irradiation should be accomplished. Continuous study for gamma radiation-induced hormesis on growth and metabolism of juvenile abalone will further induce the creation of value in ocean industry.

Microbial Effects on Geochemical Behavior of Arsenic under Aresnic under Aerobic Condition and Their Applicability to Environmental Remediation (호기성환경에서 비소의 지구화학적 거동에 미치는 미생물의 영향 및 오염 복구에의 적용 가능성)

  • The effects on arsenic geochemistry of indigenous microorganisms isolated from an area contaminated with high concentration of arsenic were investigated. Arsenite exerted higher inhibitory effects on the microbes' growth than arsenate. During incubation of the microbes in an arsenate-spiked medium over 24 hours, decrease in microbial growth was observed as arsenate content increased. Arsenate of 150 mM or over apparently inhibited cell growth. However, further incubation for up to 4 days in the high arsenate concentration medium resulted in cell growth, implying that the microorganisms adjusted their biochemical functions to detoxify arsenic and maintain growth. Two types of microbes were observed during 20 hours to reduce arsenate to arsenite in solution through a detoxification mechanism. As well, decrease in the total arsenic content occurred over a 4-day incubation with the same microbes in an arsenate-spiked medium. Therefore it is suggested that microorganisms can influence arsenic speciation in natural settings and this may be applied to efficient bioremediation of arsenic-contaminated sites.
