  • This study was carried out to develope a flow control system using to supply PR(photo-resist) in the semi-conductor manufacturing process. The features of this system are to be able to measure the high viscosity and micro-flow. To meet above study object some ideas was induced to design a new concept valve with new material, multi-cross wheel, and new sealing method etc.. As the evaluations on the developed micro-flowmeter it was enough satisfied to use at the IT industries such as photo-resist process.

  • We propose an efficiency analysis method to test whether Schisandra tea is beneficial to the health of internal organs, and, if so, to find which organ is mostly benefited. Firstly, for this, the color change in the right cheek region of face images before and after drinking Schisandra tea is analyzed using image processing techniques. Also, acoustic analysis experiments on both of the vocal cords vibration and the intensity value of acoustic signal are performed to investigate further Schisandra tea's effectiveness. The results of lung function smoothly by eating omijacha become. Vocal cords vibration and voice energy intensity of the right cheek region has changed a steady increase of the b values were observed.

  • Pseudohypoparathyroidism (PHP) is a disorder characterized by hypocalcemia and hyperphosphatemia due to end organ resistance to parathyroid hormone. PHP is caused by the deficiency of the α-subunit of the stimulatory G protein encoded by the GNAS gene, and this defect arises from genetic or imprinting disturbances. Sporadic PHP 1b shows two or more methylation defects of upstream of GNAS gene and some of them lead to loss of maternal GNAS imprints, therefore, only paternally derived GNAS gene is expressed. Here, we report a 10 year 9 month old boy presented with intermittent tetany who was finally diagnosed with PHP 1b caused by paternal uniparental disomy of chromosome 20q.

Clostridium difficile Toxin A Inhibits Wnt Signaling Pathway in Gut Epithelial Cells (대장상피세포 속 Wnt 신호 경로에 대한 C. difficile 톡신A의 영향)

  • Clostridium difficile toxin A causes pseudomembranous colitis. The pathogenesis of toxin A-induced colonic inflammation includes toxin A-dependent epithelial cell apoptosis, resulting in the loss of barrier function provided by epithelial cells against luminal pathogens. Toxin A-dependent epithelial cell apoptosis has been linked to toxin A-induced production of reaction oxygen species and subsequent p38MAPK activation; $p21^{CIP1/WAF1}$ upregulation-dependent cell cycle arrest; cytoskeletal disaggregation; and/or the induction of Fas ligand on epithelial cells. However, the molecular mechanisms underlying toxin A-induced apoptosis remain poorly understood. This study tested whether toxin A could block the Wnt signaling pathway, which is involved in gut epithelial cell proliferation, differentiation and antiapoptotic progression. Toxin A treatment of nontransformed human colonocytes (NCM460) rapidly reduced ${\beta}$-catenin protein, an essential component of the Wnt signaling pathway. Exposure of mouse ileum to toxin A also significantly reduced ${\beta}$-catenin protein levels. MG132 inhibition of proteasome-dependent protein degradation resulted in the recovery of toxin A-mediated reduction of ${\beta}$-catenin, indicating that toxin A may activate intracellular processes, such as $GSK3{\beta}$, to promote degradation of ${\beta}$-catenin. Immunoblot analysis showed that toxin A increased active phosphorylation of $GSK3{\beta}$. Because the Wnt signaling pathway is essential for gut epithelial cell proliferation and anti-apoptotic processes, our results suggest that toxin A-mediated inhibition of the Wnt signaling pathway may be required for maximal toxin A-induced apoptosis of gut epithelial cells.

  • Used as an ingredient in the hospital for orthopedic prosthetic stainless and titanium metal the same size as on the MRI diagnostic value of imaging were compared. The area of normal slice and also the distortion of images and cross-sectional imaging of a range of quantitative and sagittal planes were compared. As a result, the periphery high band signal intensity values of Stainless video phantom 2, pig bone 1.8, Titanium imaging of phantom 1.7 has higher value than Normal video pig bone 1.3 times the signal strength rivers. MRI distortion of the shape and the distortions of the range, if the cross-sectional area compared to Normal Slice Stainless case of phantom 65.8 %, pig bone 61.5 %, Titanium distortion phantom 23.1 %, pig bone 38.5 % of the range of community found. In this experiment, as a result, MRI was found to be Titanium more diagnostic value than the specimen with respect to the signal intensity weighted value and low distortion range, Stainless.

  • Since high speed and precision control shoud be satisfied in the position control system, the DC servo motor with easy control and satisfactory response characteristic is used. The various studies of position control techniques have been proposed in order to improve the control performance in the position control system. In this paper, the design method for a position control is suggested for constructing the PD controller in I-PD control system. The coefficients of PD controller in the I-PD control system are determined by using the transfer function which is normalized. Stability and root conditions of the system are derived from mathematical technique. From the result of computer simulation in I-PD control system by applying this control technique, is investigated by the method of proposed design the effectiveness of system response characteristic for input and disturbance.

  • Pansori is our traditional vocal sound, originality and excellence in the art of conversation, gesture general became a globally recognized world intangible heritage. Especially, Pansori as shrews and humorous representation of audience participation with a high degree of artistic value and enjoy the arts throughout all layers to be responsible for the social integration of functions is evaluated. Therefore, in this paper, Pansori five yard target speech signal analysis techniques applied to analyze the Pansori acoustic features of a representation of a society and era correlation extraction studies were performed. Pansori on the five yard spectrogram, pitch, stability and strength analysis for this experiment. Pansori through experimental results Comical story while keeping the audience focused and interested to better reflect the characteristics of energy for the wave of voice and vocal cord tremor change the width of a large, stable and voice with a loud voice, that expresses were analyzed.

  • Health monitoring is a major concern not only in the design and manufacturing but also in service stages for composite laminated structures. Excessive loads or low velocity impact can cause matrix cracks and delaminations that may severely degrade the load carrying capability of the composite laminated structures. To develop the health monitoring techniques providing on-line diagnostics of smart composite structures can be helpful in keeping the composite structures sound during their service. In this study, we discuss the signal processing techniques and some applications for health monitoring of composite structures using piezoceramic sensors and fiber optic sensors.

  • One of the most important means in modern NQ emphasized smart society is the communication skill. Especially, effects on improving pronunciation accuracy, it is mostly necessary to accurately express his or her own idea due to the personal relation influence 38% of voice. For this, this paper proposed the voice influence analysis of carbonate drink and eucalyptus fragrance. In particular, in the case of carbonate drink, the amounts of drinking accumulation is verified for analysing the drinking accumulation influence. Also, eucalyptus fragrance is reported for influencing the pronunciation accuracy. For this, jitter, shimmer, pitch and intensity of voice is analyzed. Finally, we accomplish an voice analysis of quantization, objective and visualization for such carbonate drink and eucalyptus fragrance.

  • In this paper a new feature extraction and target classification method is proposed for the recognition part of FLIR(Forwar Looking Infrared)-image-based ATR system. Proposed feature extraction method is "cluster(=set of classes)-based"version of previous fisherfaces method that is known by its robustness to illumination changes in face recognition. Expecially introduced class clustering and cluster-based projection method maximizes the performance of fisherfaces method. Proposed target image classification method is based on the mixture of experts model which consists of RBF-type experts and MLP-type gating networks. Mixture of experts model is well-suited with ATR system because it should recognizee various targets in complexed feature space by variously mixed conditions. In proposed classification method, one expert takes charge of one cluster and the separated structure with experts reduces the complexity of feature space and achieves more accurate local discrimination between classes. Proposed feature extraction and classification method showed distinguished performances in recognition test with customized. FLIR-vehicle-image database. Expecially robustness to pixelwise sensor noise and un-wanted intensity variations was verified by simulation.
