침윤소화약제 특성 판단을 위한 축소모형실험

  • 본 연구는 침윤소화약제의 소화성능평가를 위해 자체제작 축소모형 실험장치를 이용하여 목재를 대상으로 실험을 진행하였다. 물과 7종의 침윤소화약제를 소화용수로 하여 성능평가 실험을 진행함으로써 물과 침윤소화약제의 명확한 변별력을 확인하고자 하였다. 실험결과 침윤소화 약제의 경우 7종 모두 유사한 소화 성능 패턴을 나타내는 것을 확인하였으며 동일 조건에서 물의 경우 재발화가 발생함으로써 명확한 변별력을 확인하였다.

Performance evaluation of computed tomographic equipment in Korea (국내 CT장치의 성능평가에 관한 연구)

  • 국내 35개 병원의 44대의 CT장치를 대상으로 CT장치의 성능을 크게 7가지의 항목별로 구분하여 평가한 결과는 다음과 같았다. 물의 평균 CT number는 -18.9HU와 +68.6HU의 범위에 속했으며, 전체 장치의 평균은 $2.4{\pm}13.0\;HU$였다. 물의 평균 CT number의 권장수준을 -6과 +6로 하였을 경우 이에 적합한 장치는 35대(79.5%)였다. Contrast scale은 장치의 종류에 따라 많은 차이를 나타내었으나 평균은 $2.02{\pm}10^{-4}{\sim}1.665{\pm}10^{-5}$이었다. 직선성을 나타내는 상관계수는 0.984에서 0.992의 분포를 나타내었으며 평균은 $0.990{\pm}0.002$였다. 공간분해능은 0.60 m에서 1.25 mm의 분포를 나타내었으며 전체 장치의 65.9%에 해당되는 29대에서 0.75 mm의 공간 해상능을 나타내었다. 대조도 분해능은 3.2 mm(1/8인치)에서 19.1 mm(3/4인치)의 분포를 나타내었으며, 대조도 분해능의 권장수준을 6.4 mm 이하로 하였을 경우 측정 대상장치 44대 중 이에 적합한 장치는 37대(84.1%)였다. 슬라이스 두께의 설정치가 1 mm인 경우 측정치의 평균은 $2.0{\pm}0.6\;mm$이였으며, 설정치가 2 mm와 3 mm인 경우 측정치는 각각 $3.0{\pm}0.7\;mm$$3.5{\pm}0.6\;mm$이였다. 설정치가 5 mm와 7 mm인 경우 측정치는 각각 $5.1{\pm}0.6\;mm$, $7.0{\pm}0.5mm$이였다. 그리고 10 mm의 설정치에서는 $9.8{\pm}0.7\;mm$의 측정치를 나타내었다. 위치잡이용 중심선의 좌우방향의 편차는 -4.7 mm에서 +41.7 mm의 범위였으며, 상하방향의 편차는 -3.7 mm에서 +4.6 mm의 범위였다. 위치잡이용 중심선의 좌우 및 상하방향의 권장수준을 ${\pm}3.0\;mm$${\pm}3.0\;mm$ 이하로 하였을 경우 41대의 측정 대상장치에서 이에 적합한 장치는 33대(80.5 %)였다.

  • In recent years, the increase of secondary controls within vehicles requires a mechanism to integrate various controls into a single device. This paper presents control performance of an integrated magnetorheological (MR) haptic device which can adjust various in-vehicle comfort instruments. As a first step, the MR fluid-based haptic device capable of both rotary and push motions within a single device is devised as an integrated multi-functional instrument control device. Under consideration of the torque and force model of the proposed device, a magnetic circuit is designed. The proposed MR haptic device is then manufactured and its field-dependent torque and force are experimentally evaluated. Furthermore, an inverse model compensator is synthesized under basis of the Bingham model of the MR fluid and torque/force model of the device. Subsequently, haptic force-feedback maps considering in-vehicle comfort functions are constructed and interacts with the compensator to achieve a desired force-feedback. Control performances such as reflection force are experimentally evaluated for two specific comfort functions.

  • 화재시 발생하는 연기 및 유독가스를 효과적으로 제어하기 위한 제연설비는 일정한 성능이 요구되며 각 장치에 대한 성능시험방법과 평가기준이 마련되어 있어야 하지만 아직 국내기준은 서류에 의한 예비검사나 부위검사 등으로 되어 있어 성능위주의 평가기준이 미비한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 제연설비 주요 구성품 중 제연댐퍼에 대해 국내외 기준을 비교분석하고 정량적인 성능기준을 제시하여 이에 따른 평가와 적합성을 분석하고자 하였다.

  • For the purpose of technological analysis in the marine accidents and their prevention, IMO have made it obligatory to load VDR which is similar to the black box in aircraft. However, in case of body sinkage, capsizing, stranding and plunging which are almost 10% of marine accidents, it is difficult to take out the necessary data from the VDR in order to analyze the cause of them. Therefore, this paper apply the navigation dangerousness evaluation technology to the VDR to improve its performance. And we suggest that the vertical acceleration which is one of the factors for evaluating seakeeping performance of a ship is to be added in the existing VDR record data recommended by IMO.

  • This article deals with a case study on evaluating RAM(Reliability, Availability and Maintainability) performance of the door systems. The RAM performance is analysed based on the field data. The definition and category of failures of the door systems are presented and reliability for each categories is predicted with field data. MTTR(Mean Time To Repair) is estimated through the replacement time of line replaceable units(LRU). The availability is predicted based on the estimated reliability and maintainability.

  • As the ship is getting bigger and faster lately, ship's structure or cargoes might be often damaged and the ship might be cut in two in extreme conditions by a wave impact on its bow. In this paper, the vertical acceleration, which is one of factors for evaluating seakeeping performance, was measured under the various sea states by the hull stress monitoring system(HMS) on the bridge, and the result was compared with those of model test and theoretical studies. Then, we confirmed the seakeeping performance of T.S. HANBADA by comparing it with ITTC seakeeping criteria This result will be a great help for the safe navigation by making it possible to estimate the possibility of work and the amount of risk under the various sea conditions with which may be confronted, and the shipbuilding yard can be possible to construct the vessel with superior performance through these data measured on the actual ship.

A Evaluation of Emergency Braking Performance for Electro Mechanical Brake using Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (매입형 영구자석 동기전동기를 적용한 전기기계식 제동장치의 비상제동 성능평가)

  • This study examined the clamping force control method and the braking performance test results of an electromechanical brake (EMB) using braking test equipment. Most of the studies related to EMBs have been carried out in the automotive field, dealing mainly with the static test results for various control methods. On the other hand, this study performed a dynamic performance evaluation. The three-phase interior permanent magnet synchronous motor (IPMSM) was applied to drive the actuator of the EMB, and the analysis was verified by JMAG(Ver. 18.0), which is finite element method (FEM) software. The current control, speed control, and position control were used for clamping force control of the EMB, and the maximum torque per ampere (MTPA) control was applied to the current controller for efficient control. The EMB's emergency braking deceleration performance was tested in the same way as conventional pneumatic brake systems when the wheel of a train rotates at 110 km/h, 230 km/h, and 300 km/h. The emergency braking time, with the wheel stopped completely at the maximum rotational speed, was approximately 73 seconds. The similarity of the braking time and deceleration pattern was verified through a comparison with the performance test results of the pneumatic brake system applied to the next generation high-speed railway vehicle (HEMU-430X).

Metallic Damper Shape and Cyclic Behavior for the Seismic Capacity Improvement of Building Structures (건축구조물의 내진성능 향상을 위한 강재댐퍼 형상 및 이력 거동)

  • The aim of this paper is a seismic performance evaluation of metallic damper devices which are efficient in workability and installation process. For this V shape and S shape dampers is considered. The strut figures of dampers are V shape and S shape and, the research parameters are strut height and angle of the dampers. ABAQUS program is used for nonlinear finite element analysis. The analysis is performed with the hysteretic curve that has maximum displacement with 50mm and has increased progressive. As a results of evaluating the yield strength, maximum strength and energy dissipation capacity of each device, V and S shape have a good strength capacity and the devices with strut angle $60^{\circ}$ and strut height 140 and 200mm are evaluated stable in seismic behaviors. The response of S shape is more efficient than that of V shape. In the yield strength estimation process, proposed formula can not estimate the yield strength of V and S shape dampers. Even though, the formula can not consider the variation of strut heights and strut angles. Finally the S shape damper is recommended in seismic performance than V shape damper.

기술현황분석 - 원전 압력방출장치의 용량인증기관 현황

  • 원전발전소에 납품되는 원전용 안전밸브의 성능은 ASME나 KEPIC와 같은 기술기준코드에 따라 설정압력, 블로우다운(blowdown), 풀리프트(Full lift), 누설(leakage), 방출용량(discharge flow rate)등과 같은 특성인자로 평가된다. 그 중에서도 방출용량은 ASME SEC III NB 7000 코드에 따라 ASME 용량인증이 요구되지만, 아직 국내에는 국제적으로 공인되니 압력방출장치 용량시험기관이 부재하여 외화유출 및 국내 PRD 기술개발에 많은 어려움이 있어왔으며, 이에 따라 원전 PRD 인증기관 개발을 통하여 세계적인 인프라 구축의 필요성이 부각되고 있다. PRD 인증기관 구축은 국내 원전 핵심기자재의 고급기술 국산화에 이바지 할 수 있고, PRD 성능 및 용량시험지원을 통하여 국내 밸브기술 경쟁력 확보하는 데 기여할 것으로 기대된다.
