전동 휠체어에 탈·부착이 가능한 유성기어 감속기 구동부 설계 (Design of Planetary Gear Reducer Driving part to Possible Disadhesion from Electric Wheelchair)

  • 벨트나 체인을 이용한 감속기는 간단한 장치이긴 하지만 공간을 많이 차지하여 공간상의 제약이 있기 때문에 전동휠체어 구동부에는 부적합하다. 하지만 유성기어형태의 감속기는 동일 축에서 감속이 이루어지기 때문에 부피를 작게 할 수 있어 공간의 제약이 벨트나 체인형태의 감속기보다 덜하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 수·전동전환이 가능한 휠체어의 구동부에 대한 연구를 통하여 유성기어형태를 이용한 감속기로 큰 추진력을 얻을 수 있는 구동부를 개발하였다. 그에 따라 감속기에 적용되는 유성기어의 치형을 Kisssoft 프로그램을 이용하여 설계를 진행하였다. 또한 기존 휠체어 바퀴에 적용 가능하도록 구동부의 설계를 진행하였고, 구동부의 수·전동 전환원리 및 작동원리에 대한 메커니즘의 최적화를 진행하였다. 연구내용을 토대로 하나의 선기어와 2개의 유성기어, 하나의 링기어를 갖는 유성기어 형태의 휠체어 감속기 구동부의 최종 설계 및 제작을 진행하였다.

피팅 파손면적분석기법을 이용한 기어재의 피팅 수명 실험 (Pitting Life Experiments of Gear Material using a Damaged Area Analysis Method)

  • The object of this study is to investigate the definite method for pitting damaged surfaces. Pitting is a sort of fatigue damages and it is made by a repetitive load. For a judgment between damages or not, sensing vibrations of test equipment is simple. However, it is not only difficult to observe a growth of pitting but also impossible to detect the juncture of initial pitting. Therefore, a method for the pitting damaged area measuring technique was effectively implemented by Two Roller Machine. The change of surface damaged area was measured by an optical microscope in regular time and calculated by the use of dark and bright ratio of test specimens' pictures taken by optical microscope. In conclusion, S - N Curves gained by Failure rate - Cycle graph was led and the curves are able to be chosen as occasion demands for a failure area percentage.

120kW급 모노레일용 유성기어감속기의 치형수정에 관한 연구 (A Study on Tooth Profile Modification of Planetary Reducer for 120kW Class Monorail)

  • In this study, parameters and requirements of an 120kW class monorail planetary gearbox was analysed and the adaptive planetary gearbox design was selected. The specification of the sun gear, planetary gear and carrier was set and the profile & lead was optimized. The mechanical efficiency of the optimized one and the original one was observed. Dynamo-tester system was used to observe the mechanical efficiency of the planetary gearbox. A dynamo unit was connected with the planetary gearbox which straightened through the motor by a coupling. The standard tooth shape planetary gearbox and modified tooth shape planetary gearbox were used as test pieces and the rotation speed was set from 600 to 6000rpm with 600rpm, 2.5min one step. In order to check the mechanical efficiency of the planetary gearbox, the tests were done as follows. 1) The power loss between driving motor and dynamo tester. 2) Temperature variation by different rotation speeds. 3) Noise variation by different rotation speeds.

쇼트피닝에 의한 자동차용 베벨기어의 피로설계 (Fatigue Design of Bevel Gear for Automobile by Shot Peening)

  • The fatigue characteristics of bevel gear used for differential gear of automobile was investigated in this paper. From the A-N(Almen intensity-Number of fracture)curve of bevel gear it was shown that there was a specific time that have a maximum fatigue life. Optimal peening condition was 65m/s of project velocity and 8min of project time. Fatigue life was also investigated from the S-N curve between optimal peened specimen and unpeened specimen. Another very significant point is that the crack initiation of bevel gear by shot peening was generated in the subsurface from fractography. This paper shows that shot peening process tremendously improve fatigue characteristics of bevel gear.

  • 개폐기, 차단기와 같은 스위치기어들은 지중케이블이나 가공선로, 콘덴서 뱅크에 흐르는 진상 전류의 개폐를 많이 하게 된다. 이때 진상전류의 크기는 정격 차단전류나 부하전류보다 그 크기가 매우 작다. 그러나 스위치기어 측면에서는 전압을 고려하였을 때 가혹한 시험이며, 이는 차단 후 극간에 걸리는 과도한 회복전압에 기인한다. 본 논문에서는 국제규격에서 요구하는 진상전류 시험의 회로조건들을, 회복전압 측면에 바탕을 두고 고찰해 보았다.

연속 웨이블렛 변환의 확대된 위상 지도를 이용한 기어의 초기 퍼팅 결함 진단 (Fault Detection of a Gear with Initial Pitting using the Boomed Phase Map of Continuous Wavelet Transform)

  • Vibration transient generated by developing localized fault in gear can be used as indicators in gear fault detection. In this paper, we propose the zoomed phase map for a fault signal using continuous wavelet transfers to detect this vibration transient. Local fault induces the abrupt fluctuation of load exciting tooth and phase lag in the vibration signal measured on the gearbox. The relatively large fault like "tip breakage" easily can be detected by the clear fluctuation of exciting load. However, minor fault like "initial pitting"cannot be detected using the load fluctuation. To defect this kind of minor fault, the phase map for a fault signal is taken into account. The phase lag by minor fault is observed well in the zoomed phase map.

냉간단조 베벨기어의 굽힘피로강도 평가 (An Evaluation of Bending Fatigue Strength for Cold Forged Bevel Gear)

  • Gears are the most commonly used parts in automotive and industrial applications. One of most common modes of gear failures is tooth breakage, which is usually produced by the bending fatigue failure. It is important to manufacture the gears which can withstand the applied stresses in view of safety and economic requirement. This paper deals with bending fatigue strength for cold forged bevel gear. Especially, to compare fatigue characteristics for manufacturing processes difference, bending fatigue tests of bevel gears made by three different processes respectively. Results indicate that the fatigue strength of bevel gear is improved by cold forging process. Intergranular fracture is found on fatigue fracture surface, and dimples are observed on final fracture surface. The fatigue failure cannot be considered as a deterministic quantity, but must be characterized statistically. This study proposes a method to estimate bending fatigue lift of the bevel gear using the probability-load-life and Weibull analysis.

건설중장비용 카운터샤프트 자동변속기 기어열 레이아웃 설계 (Design of Counter Shaft Automatic Transmission Gear Train Layout for Construction Vehicles)

  • Counter shaft transmission is a popular automatic transmission power train in construction vehicles such as wheel loader and forklift. The gear train layout of counter shaft transmission is a very basic and important development stage because it affects the most of components design including hydraulic system and shift control algorithm, etc. This paper presents a design methodology for the gear train layout from the analysis of power flow path and clutch hook-up of the existing counter shaft transmission that is adopted in commercialized construction vehicles. Also, independent constraints for the meshed gear ratios are derived in order to realize forward 4-speed and reverse 3-speed gear ratio. The layout design principle proposed here was applied to the new original counter shaft transmission that is underdevelopment.

  • Vibration incidents hardly happen when a turbine generator usually installed in LNG carrier is operated, different from diesel engine generator. The purpose of this paper is to introduce an actual vibration incident, which hardly occurred in case of turbine generator, and describe all possible countermeasures to prevent from vibrations during operation.

선풍기(Electric Fan)의원리

  • 선풍기 한 대 쯤 없는 집이 거의 없을 정도로 선풍기는 우리에게 매우 친숙한 가전제품중 하나이다. 이번에는 여름철의 풍물인 선풍기의 구조 및 원리 등에 대해서 살펴보도록 하겠다. 먼저 선풍기의 역사를 보면, 최초의 선풍기는 1600년대 천장에 매달아 놓은 추의 무게를 이용하여 기어장치의 회전축을 돌려 1장으로 된 커다란 부채를 시계추 모양으로 흔들어 바람을 일으키는 것이었다. 이어 1850년대는 현재의 탁상선풍기 모양으로 된 것에 태엽을 감아 사용하는 것이 고안되었다. 최초의 전기선 풍기는 T.A.에디슨이 발명하였으며, 이것이 점차 발달하여 보호망을 씌운 현재의 아름답고 정교한 것으로 진보되었다.
