Analysis of Preference of Residential Space on Residers of Public Rental Hosing in Jeiu (제주지역 공공임대주택 거주자의 주거공간 선호경향분석)

  • This study is focused on Resider's Preference of Residential Space to improve Residence Unit Plan. Three Rental Housing Complexes in Jeju which supplied by Korea National Housing Corporation(KNHC) were selected for more detailed Resider's Preference research, which were constructed within 5years. Questionnaire of Total 360 sheets were distributed for each Rental Housing Complexes and total 299 sheets were returned. The results of research are as the followings. Generally satisfaction of environment and living area of home is not high. And also it seem that many residers want to live in housing of average 25.87 pyeong in housing scale. In view and direction of housing Especially, many residers tend to select housing that view is better than direction. With based on like this results, it is proposed housing plan's develop and political supports reflected Jeju's culture condition, life style, climate and so on.

  • Based on individual characteristics and values, human preference on interior finishing material is various . Finishing materials, however, do not seem to satisfy those characteristics and values. Given the aspects of life style and population classes, finishing materials are an important part of human life and draw much attention . As a result, there is a necessity to study them systematically. This study related finishing materials to tenants, understands the characteristics both of them, and identifies in terrelations between them in order to find out satisfaction and preference which teants have towards their finishing materials. As a result, this study is about design materials preference of tenants in apartment houses for the purpose of improving quality of finishing materials. A practical study method of questionnaire research was used to find out tenant's opinions on components of interior space.

  • 의복은 사람의 신체적인 특징에잘 맞고 심리적으로 만족을 주는 것이어야 한다. 식죽(1989)은 인간관계와 사회구조가 복잡하게 서로 얽혀 이루어진 현대사회에서는 의복에대한 욕구는 다면적이고 모든 기능을 동시에갖는 것이 요구되어진다고 하였고 정삼호(1988)는 성인여성들은 연려이 증가함에 따라 나타나는 체형변화를 의복으로 최대한 보완할 수 있는 디자인을 선택하여 다른 사람들에게 의복을 통해 자기 자신을 표현함으로서 심리적으로 안정감을 얻으려고 노력한다고 하였다. 따라서, 의복 착용 자가 의복을 통해얻는 심리적 만족도는 신체적 만족도와 관련되어 형성된다고 할 수 있으며 또한 신체 적 만족도는 체형과 관련되어 형성된다고 할 수 있다 (정재은,1992). 이에 신체적 만족도와 의복행동 및 체형에 관한 연구가 많이 이루어지고 있다. 이옥연(1984), 식죽(1988), Labat-Delong(1990), 김용숙 (1990), Shim(1991), 구자명.이명희(1994), 고애란.김양진(1996) 등은 신체 만족도와 의복행동간에 관련 이 있음을 밝혔으며, 임숙자(1986), 김양진.강혜원(1992)은 신체의 결함을 의복으로 보완하고자 하는 경향이 있다고 하였고, 김정숙(1984)은 자신에게 어울리는 의복을 선택하므로써 안정감을 갖게된다고 하였다. 또한, Douty. Brannon(1984)은 여성은 마른것을 선호한다고 하였고 Clayton 등(1987)은 의복 착용자의 체형에 따라 의복 유행성 지각이 다름을 밝혔다. 그러나, 이에관한 대부분의 연구들은 심리 학적 입장에서 행하여진 연구로 신체의 종합적인 만족도, 선호를 취급하고 있을 뿐 신체각 부위의 만족 도나 선호에 관한 자세한 고찰을 하고 있지 않으며 자신의 신체에 대한 인식도 및 실제체형과의 비교는 이루어지고 있지 않다. 이에, 신체 각 부위에 대한 인식도 및 실제 신체 측정치와 만족도와의 관계 및 이상형에 대해 구체적으로 파악할 필요가 있다. 또한, 신체에 대한 이상형은 시대의 여러 여건에 따라서 변화할 수 있으므로 의복 착용자가 의복을 통해서 표현하고자 하는 이상형의 시대적 변화를 살펴볼 필요가 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 신체에 대한 인식도 및 만족도, 이상형에 대한 설문지 조사와 신체측정을 통하여 신체 크기에대한 만족도를 객관적인 척도로 고찰하고, 이상형과 실제 체형에 관하여 고찰하고자 한다. 도한, 1992년도 자료와의 비교를 통하여 시대에 따른 신체만족도와 이상형의 변화를 파악하고자 한다. 이를 기초로 한 의복원형 제작 및 의복 디자인에 대한 연구를 통해 의복의 맞음새가 좋을뿐만 아니라 의복착용자들 에게 심리적 만족을 줄 수 있는 의복 제작에 도움이 될 수 있을 것이다.

Study on floating action button's use and its application (Floating Action Button의 사용 실태와 올바른 사용법)

  • The purpose of this study is to assess usage of floating action button, a component of Google's Material Design. Case studies were conducted to overview the component's current usage and qualities, followed by eye-tracking experiments and in-depth interviews conducted to 12 subjects. Results have shown that while floating button can promote an action by catching viewers' attention with its striking visual, users tend to look at top more, thus preferring top placement for interfaces. To give positive user experience, designers should consider factors such as the amount of content covered by the button, the way users interact with the application, etc. This study aims to provide proper guidelines for the component's application.

Analysis of design tendency and consumer preferences for wetsuits (웨트슈트 디자인 경향 및 소비자 선호 분석)

  • This study compared the domestic and international commercial design patterns and domestic consumer preferences for wetsuit designs to develop a user-centered wetsuit design. An analysis of the domestic and international design elements for 1,802 wetsuits sold online over the past three years showed that the most frequent shapes, dominant colors, and patterns were the same, as consumers tended to buy full suits that were black or had geometric patterns. Dominant colors and assort/accent colors were different from the survey results. Men's wetsuits used fewer colors and patterns than women's suits. Domestic wetsuits used fewer patterns than those sold abroad; in addition, colors were applied differently. A consumer preference survey conducted on 213 male and female consumers in their 20s and their 50s in Korea indicated that 53.5% of respondents were the most affected by the shape when choosing a wetsuit design. The preferred color scheme was two colors, with a vivid tone used as an accent color. The factor analysis results on wetsuit design preference uncovered the six factors: individuality, display, function, acceptance, imitation, and comparison. An independent sample t-test also showed that men perceive individuality, imitations, and comparison factors higher than women.

  • 소비자의 기호가 다양화되면서 다품종 소량생산에 따른 대량 맞춤화에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있으며, 1990년대 후반부터 급격히 확산되고 있는 인터넷의 발달 및 디지털 기기의 확산에 따라 인터넷을 기반으로 한 전자상거래 환경에서의 대량 맞춤화 프로세스는 최근 의류 분야에서 주요한 경향으로 받아들여지고 있다. 대량 맞춤화 의류 제품의 수요는 인터넷 등 IT 기술의 발달과 맞물려 최근 개인의 특성과 취향을 고려한 인터넷 맞춤서비스를 기반으로 증가추세에 있으며, CAD 등의 테크놀러지의 활용을 통하여 디자인, 패턴제작, 재단 등의 자동 시스템을 도입함으로써 그 영역을 확장하고 있다. 이에 발맞추어 국내에서는 '디지털 패션 시스템'을 통해 3차원 바디 스캔, 3차원 컴퓨터 그래픽스, 3차원 Simulation, DID, DTP, 맞춤주문형 제품의 대량 생산기술 등의 단위 기술이 기업단위로 활용되는 등 가상현실을 이용한 3차원 가상쇼핑 등을 포함하는 기술로서 차세대 섬유패션 산업의 창출에 기여하고 있다. 그 중, 디지털 텍스타일 프린팅은 디자인에서부터 날염까지 전체 공정을 컴퓨터로 처리하여 기존의 복잡한 날염 공정을 단축하여 다품종 소량생산이 가능한 날염 방식으로, 대량 맞춤형 프로세스를 지원하며, 프로슈머(prosumer)로서의 소비자가 직접 참여하여 그들의 욕구를 최대화 할 수 있는 소비자 만족을 극대화 시킬 수 있는 대량 맞춤화 프로세스 중 하나의 단계로 소비자의 수요 반영하는 요소로 작용하고 있다. 즉, 디지털 패션 시스템에서의 디지털 텍스타일 프린팅은 대량 맞춤형 의류 제품에 있어 소비자 만족도와 직결되는 요인으로 분석된다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 디지털 패션 시스템 기반의 대량맞춤형 섬유제품 및 디지털 텍스타일 프린팅 적용 섬유제품에 대한 기초 평가 문항을 제시하고, 소비자 태도를 분석하여 제시하였다. 또한, 분석된 기초 소비자 태도를 반영하여, 디지털 패션 시스템 기반의 디지털 텍스타일 프린팅(Digital Textile Printing) 의류 제품의 선호도, 인지도, 수요도 및 구입의향을 분석하여 최종적으로 디지털 패션 시스템에 적용된 디지털 텍스타일 프린팅 의류 제품의 수요 경향을 제시하였다.

Sensitivity Analysis on Korean Fonts Between Korean and Chinese (한글글꼴에 대한 한국인과 중국인의 감성분석)

  • The purpose of this research is to provide objective information about Korean and Chinese's sensitivity and preference among various Korean fonts, and offer guidelines for using it. Firstly, to analyze Korean fonts in objective way, We compared about image of Korean fonts to Chinese who feel unfamiliar with Korean letter, and proved how different from Korean's opinion. Secondly, one compared preference in particular fonts between Korean and Chinese. Through the factor analysis, the results are as follows. First, Korean and Chinese feel the same about the two groups of factors. There are differences in the rank, but the majority of fonts are included in the same group. It can be concluded that both Korean and Chinese has similar sensitivity about Korean fonts. Second, while Korean and Chinese decides preference on the familiarity, Chinese who are not familiar with Korean letters, have tendency to prefer calligraphic font which they have been using in the Chinese letter.

A Study on a Quantified Structure Simulation Technique for Product Design Based on Augmented Reality (제품 디자인을 위한 증강현실 기반 정량구조 시뮬레이션 기법에 대한 연구)

  • Most of product designers use 3D CAD system as a inevitable design tool nowadays and many new products are developed through a concurrent engineering process. However, it is very difficult for novice designers to get the sense of reality from modeling objects shown in the computer screens. Such a intangibility problem comes from the lack of haptic interactions and contextual information about the real space because designers tend to do 3D modeling works only in a virtual space of 3D CAD system. To address this problem, this research investigate the possibility of a interactive quantified structure simulation for product design using AR(augmented reality) which can register a 3D CAD modeling object on the real space. We built a quantified structure simulation system based on AR and conducted a series of experiments to measure how accurately human perceive and adjust the size of virtual objects under varied experimental conditions in the AR environment. The experiment participants adjusted a virtual cube to a reference real cube within 1.3% relative error(5.3% relative StDev). The results gave the strong evidence that the participants can perceive the size of a virtual object very accurately. Furthermore, we found that it is easier to perceive the size of a virtual object in the condition of presenting plenty of real reference objects than few reference objects, and using LCD panel than HMD. We tried to apply the simulation system to identify preference characteristics for the appearance design of a home-service robot as a case study which explores the potential application of the system. There were significant variances in participants' preferred characteristics about robot appearance and that was supposed to come from the lack of typicality of robot image. Then, several characteristic groups were segmented by duster analysis. On the other hand, it was interesting finding that participants have significantly different preference characteristics between robot with arm and armless robot and there was a very strong correlation between the height of robot and arm length as a human body.

Fashion Trend Preferences According to Clothing Consumption Values - Focusing on Career Women - (직장여성의 의복소비가치에 따른 패션트렌드선호경향)

  • This research demonstrates clothing consumption values, fashion preferences of career women from the early 1920s to late 1930s. And having thorough understanding of values and preferences, allows us to establish marketing strategies for clothing companies. The main purpose of this study is (1) to formalize consumer group based upon the clothing consumption values, (2) to find for characteristics of consumer depending on classification of consumption value in clothing, (3) to understand the preferences of career women about fashion trends. Analyzing data was performed 292 copies, resulting factor analysis, Cluster analysis, X-test, Anova, Tukey test, t-test, frequency analysis, and reliability analysis. This paper showed 7 distinctive characteristics of career women about clothing consumption value. These characteristics can be listed as 1) value of brand image, 2) value of self-expression, 3) functional values, 4) epistemic values, 5) coordination values, 6) social values 7) psychological values. Importantly, brand image value became most significant aspects among 7 factors. Analyzing consumers based upon stated 7 factors, it was found that they are segregated into 4 groups; Self-expressive Group, Psychological Stability Group, Functional Group, Social Group. Secondly, for fashion trend preferences, self-expressive group, psychological stability group, and functional group favored Romantic Feminine Style respectively. Social Group showed preference in Nu-Basic'. The reason for such trend dealt with fabric materials and colors. Finally examining population statistics, younger generations showed more preferences in Nu-Basic', and consumers from ages of 26 to 28, 32 to 34 showed preferences in Romantic Feminine' regardless of their household income, clothing related expenditures, jobs, and education level. On the other hand, 'Modem Classic' was popular among college graduates and 'Paradise' was somewhat less popular among all ages except from ages of 32 to 34, consumers consumption 300,000Won to 400,000Won on clothing related expenditures. And 'Energy' seemed to attract more highly educated females, who had more than masters in degrees with over 300,000 to 400,000Won for clothing related expenditures.

A Study on the Characteristics and Preference of the Symbol Mark Modeling Performance in Chinese Regional History Museums (중국 지역 역사 박물관 심벌마크의 조형적 표현 특징 및 선호도 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to explore the performance characteristics and laws of the symbol mark design of representative regional history museums in China, as well as the preferences of Chinese audiences for the symbol marks of different types of Chinese regional history museums. First, the performance theme, performance type, and type performance tendency of symbol mark modeling of the regional history museums among the top 100 museums in China are analyzed. Second, design laws based on the interrelationship of performance theme types and design performance types are explored. Finally, the questionnaire survey is carried out to explore preference from the aspects of attention, readability, closeness, originality, aesthetics and comprehensiveness. According to the results, the theme of regional history is the most in terms of themes. As for the modeling performance types, the concrete type and the visualization of Chinese character are the most. According to the content characteristics of different performance types, the following model characteristics are formed: expressing the theme of regional history, architecture, and regional natural ecological environment through the concrete type, expressing the concept through the abstract type, and expressing the concept and implying some building features through the geometric abstract figure. The three forms of the literal type, the concrete type expressing architecture, regional history, and regional natural ecological environment theme content, and the abstract type expressing concept are combined with each other, and expressed through the visualization of character, the mixture of abstract and literal type, the mixture of concrete and abstract type, and the mixture of concrete and abstract literal type in the mixture type. According to the survey results, Chinese audiences have higher preference for the concrete type in the symbol mark performance type and the regional historical theme in the performance content.
