An Evaluation of the Global Technology Competitiveness on Engineering Modeling & Simulation (엔지니어링 Modeling & Simulation 기술의 국가 경쟁력 분석)

  • 제조혁신 기술로서 엔지니어링 모델링 & 시뮬레이션(이하, Eng. M&S) 기술은 제조패러다임을 바꿀 대안기술로 주목되고 있으며, 해당분야 국가수준에서의 기술정책 육성을 위해 경쟁력 분석이 우선적으로 선행되어야 한다. 이를 위해 제조업에서 Eng. M&S가 갖는 의미를 고찰하고, 기존에 정립된 특허, 논문 계량 분석 경쟁력 평가모형을 기반으로 Eng. M&s 기술적 특성을 반영한 시장 관점에서 지표를 추가하여 Eng. M&S 기술에 대한 각국의 경쟁력을 도출을 시도하였다. 또한 모형의 통계적 검증을 통해 기존 계량정보 기반 평가모형보다 다양한 정보에 의한 높은 설명력을 확인하였고, 이에 따라 추가된 시장지표의 유용성을 확인할 수 있었다. Eng. M&S 기술경쟁력 분석 결과, 한국의 경쟁력은 최고기술보유국가인 미국대비 절반 수준으로 7개 주요국 중 가장 낮게 평가되었으며, 도출된 결과를 기반으로 경쟁국들의 정책적 노력에 대해 논의하였다. 본 연구를 통해 설계역량이 현저히 낮다고 평가된 한국 제조환경에 맞는 Eng. M&S 기술 육성 정책 수립이 필요하며, 보다 근본적인 차원에서의 해당 기술 활용을 촉구하는 바이다.

  • 본 연구에서는 SNS 매체 평가를 위해 적용 가능한 품질의 측정요인들을 문헌고찰하고, 평가방법론으로 AHP 기법을 적용하여 SNS 매체를 평가할 수 있는 방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 선행연구에 의거하여 SNS 품질요인을 시스템품질, 정보품질, 인터페이스품질, 서비스품질 등으로 분류하였고, AHP 기법을 적용하여 품질요인별 중요도를 실증 분석하였다. 측정결과로서 서비스품질이 상대적으로 가장 주요한 요인으로 도출되었으며, 정보품질, 시스템품질, 인터페이스품질 등의 순으로 중요도가 높은 것으로 나타났다.

  • 서열의 유사성 검색에 잘 알려진 도구로는 BLAST 와 FASTA 가 있으며 이들 알고리즘은 알려지지 않은 유기체를 sequencing 작업을 통하여 얻어진 염기서열과 유전자 데이터베이스를 대상으로 유사성을 검색한다. 이때 서열의 유사성을 검색하기에 앞서 선행 되어야만 하는 sequencing작업은 시간적인 면에서 상당한 비용을 요구한다. 반면 sequencing 작업을 하기 않고도 간단한 실험에 의해 얻을 수 있는 부분적인 서열정보만을 대상으로 데이터베이스에서 검색 할 수 있는 알고리즘으로 RIFLE가 있다. 본 논문에서는 RIFLE 알고리즘을 구현하고 실험데이터를 생성하여 성능에 대한 분석 평가를 하고자 한다. 성능평가 결과 RIFLE 알고리즘은 시간복잡도 $O(n^2)$으로 빠른 반면 일부 서열에 있어서 실제 유사도에 비해 정확도가 낮게 평가되는 결과가 산출되었다.

  • 인터넷을 사용하는 인구가 증가함에 따라 그들을 공략하기 위한 여러 형태의 비즈니스 모델이 구현되어 웹 상에서 유무형의 상품 및 서비스에 대한 거래가 활성화 되었다. 또한 통신 기술의 발달로 웹 성능에 대한 신뢰도가 높아져 기존에는 클라이언트/서버 아키텍쳐로 구축하던 기업의 전산 업무 환경을 웹 기반의 분산 환경으로 구축하거나 전환하고 있는 것이 현 소프트웨어 산업계의 추세이다. 이에 따라 웹 어플리케이션의 기능 및 성능을 테스트하고 나아가 품질을 평가하기 위한 제반 기법이 요구되는 상황이다. 국외에서는 이미 산업계를 주축으로 웹 테스팅에 관한 연구가 활발히 진행되어 왔으나 국내에서는 그러한 노력들이 이제 막 착수단계에 있으며, 본 고에서는 웹 어플리케이션의 품질평가 기법 고안을 위해 기반 연구 활동으로서 선행된 웹-어플리케이션의 정의 및 분류체계를 제안하고 있다. 나아가 분류별로 보다 중시되는 품질 속성에 집중하는 방식으로 접근한 품질평가 지침을 제안하고 있다.

Development of Community Design Evaluation Index from the Perspective of Sustainability (지속가능성의 관점에서 본 커뮤니티디자인 평가지표 개발)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop community design evaluation factors for sustainable urban regeneration and to suggest considerations for sustainable community design by analyzing excellent community design cases. Through literature review, previous studies on the concept and core items of sustainable urban regeneration, and the concept and components of community design were considered. In addition, evaluation indicators for sustainable community design were developed in the socio-economic, physical, environmental, historical and cultural dimensions through the analysis of the linkage with the evaluation factors of community design through the analysis of previous studies. The evaluation index consists of 3 evaluation items and 9 items including social performance and participation at the social level, economic feasibility at the economic level, environmental characteristics at the physical and environmental level, accessibility, contextuality, locality at the historical and cultural level, identity, and artistry. Includes dog evaluation factors. Reliability and effectiveness are secured through the developed evaluation index and detailed description and expert verification. Exploratory factor analysis and expert interviews were conducted through the survey, and as a result of the analysis, the stability and Cronbach'α coefficients were verified, and the validity of the community design evaluation index considering sustainable urban regeneration was recognized through expert interview. The results of this study are considered meaningful in that they can provide basic data for the improvement of community design for sustainable urban regeneration in the future.

Differences in Driver's Longitudinal Vehicle Control, Subjective Fatigue, and Perceived Fidelity in 2D and 3D Display Driving Simulation (2D와 3D 디스플레이로 구현된 운전 시뮬레이션에서 운전자의 종적 차량통제 수행, 주관적 피로감 및 지각된 현실감의 차이)

  • In this study, drivers' longitudinal car control, subjective fatigue, and perceived fidelity were compared between 2D and 3D display driving simulation. The results can be summarized as followings. First, in all target speed conditions, the drivers tended to drove faster in 2D display condition than 3D display condition. Second, speed deviation from target speed increased as target speed decreased. Third, distances between the lead vehicle and the driver's vehicle were significantly reduced in the 3D display condition when the speeds of the lead vehicle were relatively fast(i. e., over 80km/h). Fourth, although the perceived fidelity was not significantly different between the two display conditions, subjective fatigue was higher in the 3D display condition than in the 2D display condition.

Numerical Investigation into Behavior of Retaining Wall Subject to Cycles of Wetting and Drying (습윤-건조 반복작용에 노출되는 옹벽의 거동에 관한 수치해석 연구)

  • This paper presents the results of a numerical investigation into the behavior of retaining wall subject to cycles of wetting and drying due to rainfall. The stress-pore pressure coupled finite element modeling strategy was first established for stimulating the wall behavior. A series of finite element analyses were then performed on a range of conditions including different rainfall and backfill conditions. The results indicated that the rainfall intensity was the primary influencing factor for the wall behavior. Also revealed was that the pre-rainfall condition determines the magnitudes and the distribution of matric suction which in fact has a significant impact on the behavior of wall during a major rainfall. This result demonstrates the importance of incorporating the pre-rainfall condition for numerical modeling of walls during heavy rainfall. Practical implications of the findings from this study are discussed in great detail.

Evaluation of LSTM Model for Inflow Prediction of Lake Sapgye (삽교호 유입량 예측을 위한 LSTM 모형의 적용성 평가)

  • A Python-based LSTM model was constructed using a Tensorflow backend to estimate the amount of outflow during floods in the Gokgyo-cheon basin flowing into the Sapgyo Lake. To understand the effects of the length of input data used for learning, i.e., the sequence length, on the performance of the model, the model was implemented by increasing the sequence length to three, five, and seven hours. Consequently, when the sequence length was three hours, the prediction performance was excellent over the entire period. As a result of predicting three extreme rainfall events in the model verification, it was confirmed that an average NSE of 0.96 or higher was obtained for one hour in the leading time, and the accuracy decreased gradually for more than two hours in the leading time. In conclusion, the flood level at the Gangcheong station of Gokgyo-cheon can be predicted with high accuracy if the prediction is performed for one hour of leading time with a sequence length of three hours.

  • This study aims to design a digital portfolio assessment system in ubiquitous computing(DPASUbi). To achieve that goal, the following issues were worked: Review of various theoretical discussions on portfolio and an analysis of existing programs to select elements to be included in the DPASUbi. Educational evaluation scenarios for the DPASUbi were developed based on the elements. The system was designed on reflecting these elements, that is, learning activities, assessment and usage of portfolio, ubiquitous technology and database. This system will provide guidance on what methods and assessment procedures should be applied in the ubiquitous computing environment totally different from the conventional one. Also, The new system will be helpful in indicating what kind of techniques should be required in the real educational evaluation.

Review of Domestic Literature Based on System Mapping for Computational Thinking Assessment (컴퓨팅 사고력 평가에 관한 시스템 매핑 기반 국내 문헌 고찰)

  • With the advent of the 4th Industrial Revolution, the importance of solving problems through computing has been emphasized, and software education to improve computational thinking as a core competency has been designated as an essential subject. In order for education for computational thinking to be effective, appropriate tools for evaluating computational thinking must be supported. While studies on computational thinking have been conducted in the meantime, there have been no systematic studies on such evaluation-related studies. This study analyzed the related studies on the computational thinking assessment conducted in Korea and analyzed the previous research of the evaluation tools, evaluation criteria, and evaluation methods. Based on this, the implications for the study of computational thinking evaluation method were suggested.
