The Impact of Soccer Player Image on Advertising Effect (축구 선수 이미지가 광고효과에 미치는 영향)

  • This study aimed to provide basic data for establishing advertising strategy based on the value and implications of the image of the player by examining the influence of the image of a soccer player on the advertising effect. Therefore, a domestic soccer player selected as a sample the production population who experienced the advertisement selected as a model, and conducted a face-to-face (face-to-face) and non-face-to-face (mobile) survey for about 5 months from May 1 to September 30, 2020. Data from a total of 402 people were used for the final analysis. For data processing, frequency analysis, internal consistency and exploratory factor analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were performed using the SPSS (ver. 21.0) program. The main results of this study are as follows. First, it was found that the soccer player image impact the brand attitude of the advertising effect in the order of body and appearance, performance, reliability, attitude and morality. Second, it was found that the soccer player image impact the advertising attitude of the advertising effect in the order of performance, attitude and morality, body and appearance, reliability.

The Effect of Chinese University Taekwondo Instructors' image on the Grit, Psychological State and Performance of Taekwondo athletes (중국 대학 태권도 지도자의 이미지가 태권도 선수의 그릿(Grit), 심리상태와 경기수행력에 미치는 영향)

  • This study aims to identify the influence of the image of Chinese Taekwondo leaders at university on the athlete's grit, psychological state, and performance. The analysis is expected to contribute to the quality development of Chinese universities' Taekwondo program in the future. For this study, a population was selected from athletes at a university in Henan Province, China. The samples were taken by convenience sampling method. Of the 380 questionnaires retrieved, a total of 365 were used to process the results, excluding 15 insincere responses or missing values. The collected data were conducted by frequency analysis, correlation analysis, reliability analysis, exploratory factor analysis and multiple regression analysis using SPSS 23.0 program. The results of this study are as follows. First, the sub-factors of the leader image, the leader's social activities and vocational awareness, qualities, tasks and roles, were found to have a significant impact on the grit of taekwondo athletes. Second, the sub-factors of the leader image, the leader's social activities and vocational awareness, qualities, attitudes, tasks and roles had significant impact on the phychological state of taekwondo athletes. Third, social activities, vocational awareness, quality, and attitude of the leader, which are the sub-factors of the leader image, have a significant impact on the performance of taekwondo athletes.

  • 얼굴 인식 성능을 저해하는 환경으로 인한 축구 비디오에서의 낮은 선수 인식률과 제한된 해공간의 문제점을 해결하는 차원에서 본 논문에서는 다음과 같은 특징을 갖는 얼굴 인식 기반의 축구선수 인식 방법론을 제안한다: 1) 조명 변화에 민감하지 않은 얼굴 표현 방법인 ULBP를 사용하여 얼굴 인식 성능을 향상시킨다; 2) 얼굴 인식 성능을 저해하는 다양한 환경에서도 이미 강인한 성능이 검증된 SRC를 선수 식별 과정에 적용함으로써 안정적이고 높은 선수 식별 성능을 보장한다; 3) 클로즈업 샷뿐만 아니라 미디엄 샷의 정면, 준정면, 측면 얼굴 이미지를 대상으로 선수 식별의 해공간을 확장한다; 4) SRC의 점증적 갱신 학습 능력으로 축구 선수 얼굴 데이터베이스의 변화에도 능동적으로 적응한다. 실제 2010년 남아프리카 공화국 월드컵의 스페인 경기를 대상으로 제안된 방법론의 성능을 실험적으로 검증한다.

  • 테니스 경기 영상에서 테니스 코트 영역과 선수의 위치를 추적하기 위한 알고리즘을 제안한다. 공의 움직임을 찾기 위해서는 코트와 선수의 위치를 파악해야 하므로 이진화 영상과 형태론적 해석을 통하여 테니스 코트 영역과 선수 영역을 인식하도록 한다. 선수의 위치가 확인되면 공의 움직임이 예측되는 장소를 찾아 공이 지나가는 정보가 제공될 경우 공의 위치를 인식하고 칼만 필터를 이용하여 공의 움직임을 추정하고 공의 위치를 추적한다. 공의 움직임 정보를 이용하여 고속 이동에 의한 이미지의 손실을 개선하는 알고리즘을 제안한다.

Contents Analysis of the Tennis Wear Design on Female Professional Tennis Players in Sport Industry (스포츠 산업에서 여성 프로 테니스 선수들이 착용한 테니스 웨어 디자인의 내용분석연구)

  • Sports has become one way to improve our own health and to enjoy life by changing the lifestyle of modern-day people. Sports athletes not only give pleasure to the public, but also play a role in elevating a nation's reputation through sports. Tennis is popular with the public, and women players receive tennis wear from various sports companies to promote the designs to the public. This study considers the design-related characteristics of women's tennis wear through content analysis of design elements from the tennis wear in four major tournaments over the most recent five years. This is important in order to provide basic data on design directions for tennis wear in the future. The results of this study are as follows. First, the silhouette plays a role in enhancing activity by considering the physical movement of tennis players who are very active. Second, color emphasizes the rules and clarity of traditional tennis tournaments, and reflects a diversified trend in tennis wear by considering smooth game play by players and combining popular colors in the year. Third, patterns and decorations on material are used as a means to emphasize the esthetics of tennis wear, and tape plays an auxiliary role in emphasizing the physical beauty of women or preventing physical movement causing injury. In addition, sponsor logos are generally located at the center of the chest of tennis wear tops by mixing letters and images. This can be interpreted as a part of the marketing strategy to enhance clarity of the sponsor's brand.

A Best View Selection Method in Videos of Interested Player Captured by Multiple Cameras (다중 카메라로 관심선수를 촬영한 동영상에서 베스트 뷰 추출방법)

  • In recent years, the number of video cameras that are used to record and broadcast live sporting events has increased, and selecting the shots with the best view from multiple cameras has been an actively researched topic. Existing approaches have assumed that the background in video is fixed. However, this paper proposes a best view selection method for cases in which the background is not fixed. In our study, an athlete of interest was recorded in video during motion with multiple cameras. Then, each frame from all cameras is analyzed for establishing rules to select the best view. The frames were selected using our system and are compared with what human viewers have indicated as being the most desirable. For the evaluation, we asked each of 20 non-specialists to pick the best and worst views. The set of the best views that were selected the most coincided with 54.5% of the frame selection using our proposed method. On the other hand, the set of views most selected as worst through human selection coincided with 9% of best view shots selected using our method, demonstrating the efficacy of our proposed method.

  • 이미지에서 단순히 객체탐지를 하는 것이 아닌, 맥락정보를 탐지하는 해내는 것은 이미지 분석 분야에서 활발히 진행해온 연구분야 중 하나이다. 본 논문은 검출된 객체와 사람 간의 맥락 정보를 실시간으로 검출하기 위해 관심있는 객체와 인체의 키포인트를 탐지한 후, 그 두 영역 사이의 거리정보를 이용하여 맥락정보를 추출하는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 이는 CNN으로 이루어진 단일 구조 방식이기에 낮은 시스템 복잡도를 갖는다. 이 방법을 통하여 사람과 연관된 객체 사이의 맥락 정보와 그 위치정보를 출력함으로써 CCTV내 무장한 테러범의 위치나 축구 경기 내 공을 소유한 선수를 찾는 경우 등의 실질적인 이미지 분석에 활용할 수 있다.

  • This paper is aimed at studying the sexuality elements and their perceptibility in the sports photographs and images of internet portal media. The sexuality elements are composed of athletes' uniform, body and external feature. In an analysis of sports' users through portal media, there were some differences in an experimental group of men. There was the difference between an experimental group of men and a of men and women sports game. The perceptibility of sexuality imaged by sports images of men and women games in portal media was higher in an of men and women sports game than the experimental group of men. Accordingly, the sexuality imaged through sports images of portal media had a higher effect on sports' men-users.

  • Recently, industrialization of sports is consisting rapidly as social part of sports is magnified by diffusion of domestic sports market and sport consumer's increase. Sports sponsorship has property of a communication policy too and contributes to climb general communication effect of corporation. The purpose of this study is that we are to review relationship among the sports sponsorship, product attitude and purchase Intention. The results of research hypotheses are that sports players, events sponsorship have effect on product attitude except teams sponsorship, then product attitude has an effect on purchase intention.

Comparison of Changes Over Time between In and Outside the Regional Resident's Cognition for Image of Daegu City - Focused on Representative Image and Environmental Image - (대구광역시 도시이미지에 대한 지역 내외 주민 의식의 경시적 변화 비교 - 대표 이미지와 환경 이미지를 중심으로 -)

  • This paper deals with a comparative analysis of changes in cognition of city image of Daegu City, focusing on image of representative and environmental conditions. Two-questionnaire surveys were conducted to compare the change of image cognition between the last decades. Major results are: Firstly, the most frequent representative images of Daegu City were hot weather, Palgong Mountain, textile industry, etc. and representative places were Palgong Mountain, Dongsung-ro Street, E world(Woobang Land), etc. Compared to the results of year 2000, the frequency of apple, and textile industry were remarkably decreased. Secondly, mean scores of image rating for environmental conditions were comparatively high in human environment such as women, and kindness. By individual variables, accessibility to Daegu City, women, living environment such as shopping, showed higher mean scores. Generally, mean scores of 2011 survey were higher than that of 2000. Thirdly, major factors affecting city image were human environment, living environment, natural environment, and transportation environment, respectively. These results can be used as a basic data for strategies to improve higher brand image of Daegu City.
