Recently the large sea bridge's construction crossing harbor and main ship's route have been propelled in the domestic so that it is active for the smoothly traffic flow of inland transportation and road user's convenience. However, it can bring about the trouble to ensure marine traffic safety if it is built that sea bridge's construction sets to an economy principle in the extension of the land road system. We're adopting Ship Handling Simulation in representative method for the influence assessment of marine traffic safety and danger elements beforehand. This research attempts to show the problems through the comparison and analysis of the reports relating to the sea bridge construction for 4 organization possessing Ship Handling Simulation. Finally, We offer the necessity of standardization on performing and assessment method of simulations.

Shin(2015) etc. published use of smart phones on the effect the use of smart phones released in the ship duty performed by survey of using smart phones Status and Usage in previous studies, soon as the survey provided this environment(36% on sailing) where you can use your smart phone from the ship, at the risk of officers using survey questionnaires were analyzed smart phones that use about twice the risk than before. In this study, maritime those who have experienced a period of sailors aboard a diagnostic test subjects Ship Handling Simulation analysis evaluation item of Maritime Traffic Admit, Proximity evaluation of a ship evaluation, by measuring the degree of danger that the subjective evaluation and control of the ship evaluation to evaluate the risk on navigation safety. Also indicated the risk of a smart phone quantitatively by measuring the time that the awareness of dangerous situation depending on using smart phone or not.

Many sea accidents such as collisions and groundings of vessels were occurred due to the lack of sufficient manoeuvring capability of vessels. Therefore IMO adopted 'The interim standards of ship manoeuvrability by Resolution A.751(18) and the standards have been applied to vessels of 100m or more in length and all chemical tankers and gas carriers regardless of the length, which were constructed on or after 1 July 1994. The IMO manoeuvrability standards are divided into three kinds as bellows; (1) Turning capability standards : Estimated values in design stage are to be certified by turning circle test of the actual vessel. (2) Course keeping quality standards : Estimated values in design stage are to be certified by $10^\sqsubset\;and\;20^\sqsubset$ Zig-Zag tests of the actual vessel. (3) Shortest stopping distance standards : Estimated values in design stage are to be certified by the shortest stopping distance tested by the actual vessel. In this paper, the authors computed the values of the manoeuvring standards of several vessels from their original design and compared them with those results from experiments of the model ships and also examined the values and concluded about the validity of IMO Manoeuvrability standards.

Recently, a vessel's maneuvering performance is considered to be an important subject as marine pollution from the ships that stranded on a rock becomes more severe. So, IMO(International maritime organization) has adopted Resolution MSC.l37 to enhance international standards of ship's maneuverability. There's more than one way to improve ship's maneuverability. This research focused on improving ship's maneuverability by high-lift rudder. To predict the maneuverability, the numerical simulation model was used. The evaluation of maneuverability was carried out by turning test and zig-zag test. The results obtained with these simulation showed that the high-lift rudder would be effective in improving the turning ability of the ship. But it was clarified that there Has a possibility that course changing ability night become bad through an increase of rudder lift.

In the near future, autonomous ships, ships controlled by shore remote control centers, and ships operated by navigators will coexist and operate the sea together. In the advent of this situation, a method is required to evaluate the safety of the maritime traffic environment. Therefore, in this study, a plan to evaluate the safety of navigation through ship control simulation was proposed in a maritime environment, where ships directly controlled by navigators and autonomous ships coexisted, using autonomous operation technology. Own ship was designed to have autonomous operational functions by learning the MMG model based on the six-DOF motion with the PPO algorithm, an in-depth reinforcement learning technique. The target ship constructed maritime traffic modeling data based on the maritime traffic data of the sea area to be evaluated and designed autonomous operational functions to be implemented in a simulation space. A numerical model was established by collecting date on tide, wave, current, and wind from the maritime meteorological database. A maritime meteorology model was created based on this and designed to reproduce maritime meteorology on the simulator. Finally, the safety evaluation proposed a system that enabled the risk of collision through vessel traffic flow simulation in ship control simulation while maintaining the existing evaluation method.

The ship's maneuverability is the important factor to avoid ship's collisions. The ship's maneuverability is usually measured in a deep water, and the turning ability is decreased and the course stability is improved in a shallow water. The variation of the turning ability could cause the risk of collision. In this paper, we proposes application technique of Variable Safe-Guard Ring to consider the shallow water effect and to be simple to estimate the grade of collision risk simultaneously. Through the mathematical simulation, the availability of new method was varified. Therefore this method is expected enough to support a maneuver for collision avoidance.
A ship with small metacentric height or high speed vessel performs relatively large roll angles in her manoeuvring motion. Roll coupling effect should be taken into consideration for accurate prediction of manoeuvring motion of such a ship. This paper proposes a new mathematical model of ship manoeuvring motion taking coupling effect of roll into consideration. Some kinds of manoeuvring motion are simulated by computer, based upon the proposed model. The simualted results by proposed model here are compared with those by existing model. The proposed model is found to be practical and useful for prediction of manoeuvring motion with roll effect.

We carried out the maritime safety audit for Sandal Water Bridge constructed between Geje-Do and Sandal-Do in 2015. To study as to whether can be secured the marine traffic safety for this area, this research investigated and performed the marine accident, marine traffic volume, the marine traffic flow simulation and shiphandling simulation. It is considered to be required the quantitative guidelines for maritime safety audit including audit target area and formal audit object etc.
