A Study on the Pattern Matching Algorithm of 3D Coordinates for Quality Control in Ship Blocks (선박블록의 정도관리를 위한 3차원 좌표의 패턴매칭 알고리즘에 대한 연구)

  • In general, the three-dimensional(3D) coordinates of the manufactured ship blocks are measured using the laser measuring equipment by ship engineers. But, many deflections between the measured coordinates in manufactured step and the designed coordinates in the design step are occurred because of the measuring process of ship blocks manually. Thus, the ship engineer should conform the consistency between the measured coordinates and the designed coordinates step by step, and it largely causes the loss of manpower and time. In this paper, the automated pattern matching algorithm of 3D coordinates for quality control in ship blocks is suggested in order to solve this problem, and the performance of the algorithm is analyzed using the 3D coordinates simulation software developed by our research laboratory. The coordinates matching rate of the measured coordinates in the single/multi ship block(s) is about 90.2% under the tolerated distance error range is 20~25cm.

  • As regulations on environmental pollution of ships have been strengthened, interest in smart ships such as electric propulsion ships equipped with hybrid power systems is increasing. Since batteries used in electric propulsion ships have a larger capacity than batteries used in vehicles, the price is high and maintenance is considered important. The ship's battery is manufactured as an integral type and is managed by the battery management system, and the maintenance and repair of the battery is performed through the replacement of the battery. we design and implement a battery module and a control algorithm using pre-cell for easy battery management. In addition, a controller is designed to transmit the data necessary for the electric propulsion ship power system control to the power control system. When a battery to which the corresponding spare-cell is applied is used, the stability of the ship and the battery system is increased, and it can have an advantage in terms of maintenance and repair.

  • In order to improve the energy efficiency of ships, this study designed an energy saving system (ESS) algorithm suitable for ship operation characteristics, and analyzed energy consumption patterns based on the operation characteristics of ships equipped with specific systems. Therefore, we intend to study techniques that can reduce the cost of operation. To this end, we intend to study to implement an efficient system that can increase energy efficiency that reflects the characteristics of the propulsion system of the ship based on the power generation system. The vessel to be researched is intended to conduct research on HVACS (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) mounted on LNG carriers, and based on this, it has energy with scalability to be applied to future-based vessels such as electric propulsion ships and autonomous ships. I would like to propose a savings technique.

  • 자연 현상중의 하나인 낙뢰는 대기중에서 일어나는 뇌운과 보호대상 물체간의 방전현상으로 그 발생 빈도와 피해를 예측할 수 없으며, 국내에서 선박이 낙뢰로 인한 피해가 보고된 경우는 거의 없는 실정이지만 매년 정보화 통신장비 등의 보급확대와 더불어 낙뢰에 의한 피해가 증가할 것으로 판단되며 국내 대부분의 소형선박들은 낙뢰에 취약한 비금속 재질인 FRP선 또는 목선으로 건조되어 있어 낙뢰에 의한 사고에 취약한 현실이다. 본 연구는 근래에 무선설비 항해용구 등의 선박에 초소형의 집적회로를 사용하는 전자장비의 보급이 증대됨에 따라 낙뢰가 선박에 입사하였더라도 부적절한 피뢰설비 때문에 과도전압이 발생하여 제어 감시설비 등을 파손시키는 직 간접적인 피해를 감소시키기 위해서 비금속제 소형 선박에 적합한 피뢰시스템을 제시하여 낙뢰에 의한 피해의 최소화를 위한 대책 마련을 목적으로 수행하였다. KS, ISO, NFPA 및 각 국의 피뢰설비기준에서는 비금속제 선박의 피뢰설비 규정을 제시하고 있으나 국내 규정에서는 비금속제 소형선박에 관한 피뢰설비의 설치기준이 마련되어 있지 않은 실정이므로 이번 연구결과를 통해서 비금속제 소형 선박의 피뢰설비에 대한 합리적인 피뢰설비 설치기준을 설정하는 자료로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

A Study on Automatic Surveillance System using VHF Data Link Protocol (해상이동통신에서 VHF 데이터링크 프로토콜을 이용한 자동감시시스템)

  • In this Paper, We analysed the technical characteristics of a automatic identification system that will introduce in aviation and marine radio stations. IMO's Marine Safety Committee approved revision of chapter V of the Safety of Life at Sea(SOLAS) Convention in 73rd meeting. According to this, AIS will become a mandatory carriage requirement by 01 July 2002. AIS as a surveillance system continuously receives its own position from the GNSS and then repeatedly broadcasts it on a W:.u data link for avoiding traffic conflicts and possible disasters. VHF data link is organized so that a specified number of time slots make up a repeatable frame. Each radio station can autonomously allocate and deallocate slots within the frame using selection algorithm which is called SOTDMA(Self-Organized Time Division Multiple Access). The results can be an aid in the continued of understanding technical characteristics for AIS as a broad surveillance system.

  • Internet traffic is rapidly increasing due to the spread of personal smart devices and the demand for multimedia contents. When designing a large ship such as cruise, network architecture is also considered which supports various IT services in a maritime environment similar to the ground environment. In this paper, we consider wireless P2P (peer-to-peer) communication for efficient multimedia content sharing and propose novel handover scheme for efficient download service. The proposed handover method shows that it can improve the download symbol rates for handover in a wireless P2P system considering the signal strength and quality of peers as well. The proposed system is expected to provide efficient contents distribution and reliable communication in the ship-area-network (SAN).

  • An information-oriented basis in today's society has been changing fast, and the desire for connectivity has caused an exponential growth in wireless communication and sensor network. Sensor networks using RFID, in particular, have led this trend due to the increasing exchange of data in Ubiquitous such as the home RF, access control system, U-Healthcare, and Logistics information Systems. Also, the RFID when it applies a technique, is able to raise the stability of shipping as controling the mobile course and an entrance and exit of the crews an well as previously preventing an accident from shipping. In this paper, we designed and implemented personnel control system using UHF-RFID in vessels which shows through host PC reading and writing tag.

  • 요즘 모든 분야에서 실세계의 상황정보 인지를 통해 전자공간과 물리공간을 결합할 수 있는 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅의 기반 기술을 사용하여 센서와 무선 통신 기술을 결합한 무선 센서 네트워크에 대한 연구가 활발히 이루어지고 있는 추세이다. 또한 선박에서도 유무선 기술을 융합하여 지능형 선박에 적합한 Ship Area Network(SAN) 연구가 진행되고 있으나, 다양한 유무선 네트워크 연동 SAN-브릿지 기술, 이종 센서, 제어기기를 자율적으로 구성관리하거나 상호연동, 원격제어 하는 자율 SAN 구성관리 기술 등의 필요성이 제기되고 있는 실정이다. 선박에서의 모니터링 분야인 구조적 안전과 화물 관리를 위한 모니터링 외에도 선원을 포함한 모든 주변 환경을 안전하게 유지하는 것이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 기후 변화에 대한 감지나 여러 구조물에 대한 온도, 압력 등의 모니터링 시스템을 효율적으로 설계하기 위해 무선 센서 네트워크에서의 에너지 효율을 이용한 라우팅 및 데이터 병합을 위한 기술 동향을 파악하고 자기 구성 클러스터링 방법을 분석하여 선내의 무선 센서 네트워크 구성에 대해 연구하였다.

  • Although recent years whole of shipbuilding market is seriously stagnant, an importance of ship fundamental technology issues has been increased. Accordingly diversity attempts to get various solutions are in progress by national support. Therefore, in this paper it deals with a remote operation control system which is a part of propulsion thruster system. it is proposed a propulsion thruster remote operation control system which is developed by localization technology as well as the methods not only to design hardware and software but to develop hardware and software.
