International society got a severe shock from terrorism of hostage, abduction and murder that was committed on a target of Israel athlete delegation in Munich Olympics, West Germany by Black September, a Palestine terrorism organization. Korea with 1986 Asian Games and 1988 Olympics ahead was directly and indirectly exposed to threats of North Korea's nation-support terrorism, a military provocation and a local war limited warfare. This study explores the roles of the police at the time of the National Police Headquarters with regard to counter-terrorism, and analyzed academic research trends of Studies of Counter-terrorism published by the same office between 1983 and 1990. Looking into them shows a fact firstly, that the most frequently appearing key words in common were "terrorism," "hostages," "measures," and "international," etc. Secondly, before and after 1988 Olympics, the key word "Olympics" was frequently addressed. Thirdly, looking at the difference by the year, the key word, "policies of defense and borderlands" was frequently addressed between 1983 and 1984, "terrorism against South Korea," and "civil aircraft" frequently addressed in 1985, and "corporate" in 1986. In 1987, the key word "terrorism trends" was addressed, and in 1990, "international terrorism," and "separatism" were used.

The study aims to grasp the perception and appraisal of urban park users through text analysis. This study used Google review data provided by Google Maps. Google Maps Review is an online review platform that provides information evaluating locations through social media and provides an understanding of locations from the perspective of general reviewers and regional guides who are registered as members of Google Maps. The study determined if the Google Maps Reviews were useful for extracting meaningful information about the user perceptions and appraisals for parks management plans. The study chose three urban parks in Seoul, South Korea; Seoul Forest, Boramae Park, and Olympic Park. Review data for each of these three parks were collected via web crawling using Python. Through text analysis, the keywords and network structure characteristics for each park were analyzed. The text was analyzed, as were park ratings, and the analysis compared the reviews of residents and foreign tourists. The common keywords found in the review comments for the three parks were "walking", "bicycle", "rest" and "picnic" for activities, "family", "child" and "dogs" for accompanying types, and "playground" and "walking trail" for park facilities. Looking at the characteristics of each park, Seoul Forest shows many outdoor activities based on nature, while the lack of parking spaces and congestion on weekends negatively impacted users. Boramae Park has the appearance of a city park, with various facilities providing numerous activities, but reviewers often cited the park's complexity and the negative aspects in terms of dog walking groups. At Olympic Park, large-scale complex facilities and cultural events were frequently mentioned, emphasizing its entertainment functions. Google Maps Review can function as useful data to identify parks' overall users' experiences and general feelings. Compared to data from other social media sites, Google Maps Review's data provides ratings and understanding factors, including user satisfaction and dissatisfaction.

The aim of this paper is to explore the formation of the Seoul-focused network city for technological commercialization compared with Seoul as a mega city. The growth of Seoul and subsequently, the Seoul metropolitan region as a mega city and mega region has led the uneven regional development in Korea since the 1960s. To reduce a huge gap between the Seoul metropolitan and the non-metropolitan region, the concept of network city can be suggested in terms of the functional and spatial division of labor. More specifically, such division of labour throughout the formation of the Seoul-focused network city concentrates on technological commercialization which is deeply concerned with R&BD (research and business development). For this network city, there are 4 axes such as the axis of South-North Korean cooperation (the axis of R&BD for complex technologies), that of the expansion of a mega city (that of R&BD for green growth technology), that of the linkage of small and medium-sized cites (that of R&BD for life science and technology) and that of megalopolis (that of R&BD for basic technology) with regards to the axis of urban development and technological specialization. It shall be argued that the formation of Seoul-focused network city can be an alternative to the contemporary uneven regional development between the Seoul metropolitan and non-metropolitan region in Korea.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the texts of the mass media reported mainly on the hosting of the Seoul Ferrules and the upcoming Pyeongchang Paralympics in Korea, and to present the interest of the current paralympics and future development directions of the paralympics. First, the broadcasting / communication sector accounted for 21%, and second, the intellectual disability was more than twice as much as the mental retardation. In conclusion, it is expected that positive and continuous reporting and analysis will be needed through the quantitative growth of mass media.

본 연구는 DEVS를 기반으로 개발된 교통류 시뮬레이션 시스템인 $\ulcorner$I$^3$D$^2$ 교통류 시뮬레이션 시스템$\lrcorner$(이하 I$^3$D$^2$)의 검증을 그 목적으로 한다. I$^3$D$^2$는 본 연구진이 DEVS를 기반으로 개발한 범용 시뮬레이션 도구로써, 이미 서울시 강남 신호교차로와 내부순환로를 대상으로 하여 개발된 내용을 발표한 바 있다. I$^3$D$^2$는 헌재 단속류에서의 최적신호 생성 및 대기행렬 예측 문제, 그리고 연속류 시설의 용량 산정 문제등을 시뮬레이션 할 수 있다. 하지만 아직 문헌자료나 현장 데이터를 토대로 한 충분한 검증이 수행되지 못한 문제가 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 문헌자료를 토대로, I$^3$D$^2$를 검증한다. 이를 위하여 고속도로 또는 도시고속도로와 같은 연속 교통류의 대표적인 효과척도인 $\ulcorner$교통량 - 밀도 - 평균주행속도 (시간)$\lrcorner$ 간의 상관관계를 이용하여 미국 HCM과 우리나라의 도로용량편람에 정의되어 있는 기준을 토대로 I$^3$D$^2$ 검증을 수행하였다. 모델링은 서울시 올림픽대로의 양화대교 - 성산대교 - 가양대교 구간을 대상으로 했으며, 검증은 교통량에 따라 크게 3가지 교통류 상태(random, intermediate, constant)를 기준으로 시뮬레이션이 각각의 교통상태에서 예측한 평균주행시간의 정확도를 측정하면서 수행하였다. 검증 결과 random 상태에서는 문헌자료에 부합되는 예측결과를 보여주었으나, intermediate와 constant 상태에서는 문헌보다 다소 낮은 속도를 보여주었다 이러한 속도차는 추후 현장 데이터를 수집하여 보다 실질적인 검증을 통하여 조정되어야 할 것으로 판단된다.

본 연구는 기존 구간 속도 예측기법의 고찰을 통하여 검지기에서 올라오는 교통제어변수를 이용하여 구간 속도 예측모형을 연구하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위한 교통 제어변수로는 연속류 제어에서 통상적으로 사용되는 교통량, 점유율, 밀도, 속도 등을 사용한다. 공간적 범위로는 서울 올림픽대로의 17개의 영상 검지기 중 #3과 #16검지기에서 올라오는 속도, 점유율, 교통량 자료를 토대로 1998년 6월 11일 오전 7시부터 11시까지의 4시간동안 예측을 실시하며 Historical Traffic Pattern과 시험차량, 자동차 번호판 조사를 통한 구간 실측조사 자료를 토대로 예측을 위한 자료를 구축한다. 기존의 예측기법인 시계열 분석, 신경망 이론, 평활법과 칼만필터링을 고찰하였고, 가장 좋은 예측력을 보여주는 기법은 칼만필터링 모형이었다. 이를 토대로 Case Study를 통해 여러 구간의 다주기 예측을 통해 단기간(short-term)의 구간 속도를 예측하고 각 해당 검지기별 실측자료를 통해 비교분석을 실시하였다. 결과적으로 도출된 칼만필터링 모형의 다주기 예측을 통한 구간 통행속도의 예측이 기존의 구간 통행속도 산출 방법보다 더 나은 예측력을 보여주고 있다.

As metropolitan areas are rapidly growing in both a lot of population and traffic volume, it causes traffic congestion. Generally, High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lanes may increase the efficiency of road usage. The main contribution in this paper is to provide the scientific attempt to measure the effectiveness with regard to HOV lanes adaptation using an Integration simulation tool in order to alleviate the traffic congestion in Olympic highway.

서울 잠실에 건설업계의 시선이 집중되고 있다 그 이유는 바로 롯데건설이 시공하고 있는 '롯데월드타워' 때문이다 지하 6층~지상 123층, 높이 555m 규모로 지어질 롯데월드타워는 국내 최고의 마천루 자리를 예약해 놓은 상태다. 전 세계적으로도 아랍에미리트의 부르즈칼리파(163층, 828m), 중국 상하이타워(124층, 632m)에 이어 3번째로 높다. 면적도 거대하긴 마찬가지다. 대지 면적이 8만$7182m^2$며, 연면적은 78만$2497m^2$에 달한다. 이 어마어마한 건물에는 전망대와 최고급 호텔 오피스텔, 사무공간 등이 들어선다. 또 연계된 저층부에는 명품 백화점, 패션 전문관, 스포츠 레저 시설 등이 입점할 예정이다. 실로 롯데월드, 올림픽공원 등 주변 관광자원과 연계된 국내 최대 관광클러스터의 등장이 임박한 것이다. 때문에 이곳 현장 임직원들의 자부심은 남다르다. 빈틈없는 안전관리로 역사에 기록될 작품을 만들겠다는 의지를 불태우고 있는 것이다. 안전으로 우리나라를 넘어 동북아시아의 랜드마크를 만들어가고 있는 이곳 현장을 찾아가 봤다.

본 연구는 고속도로 40개선을 중부 남부 그룹으로 나누어 종단경사, 월별, 가해자연령구간 측면에서 사고 특성을 파악함으로써 유의하게 지역별 고속도로 사망사고를 높이는 요인을 분석하고자 했다. 조사된 노선 중 88올림픽선, 남해선, 호남선, 울산선 등을 포함한 18개 고속도로 노선을 남부 그룹으로, 경인선, 영동선, 서울외곽순환선 등을 포함한 11개 고속도로 노선을 중부 그룹으로 나누어 비교 분석 결과는 다음과 같았다. 고속도로에서의 사망사고 주요 원인의 비율 1위 과속, 2위 주시태만으로 비슷했으나 남부 고속도로 그룹은 요인 중 졸음에만 유의했다. 중부 고속도로 그룹에서도 졸음 시 유의하게 나타났으며 남부보다 오즈비가 1.22배 높게 나타났다. 추가로 중부 고속도로 그룹에서 주시태만(오즈비 1.477), 운전자기타(오즈비 0.347)이 유의하게 도출되었다.
